What You Says Says a Lot About You

You could say they attention seek or that they cry for help
but you say that they attention seek cuz you seek it yourself

To Many Little, To Few a Lot Belongs In a World That Has Gone To Pot

With powers vying to have us ruled
The lull of liberty has us fooled
The rich and mighty sweep it all
And callused hands are rarely jewelled

Little Things Mean a Lot

Her rather quaint cottage in Gwent
Appeared to be quite Heaven-sent
Then down came a spider
That flip-flopped inside her
And hie high ballistic she went!

Premium Member Tanks a Lot

It wasn’t a matter of “should”;
’Twas more like a question of “could?"
So tanks for expansions,
Don’t care about sanctions;
At this point, they’re not any good.

Little Things Mean a Lot

The big things never mean as much
When your little things do not touch
Wrap around, tie and knot
The big things that I got-
Your convenience, best interest and such.

Thanks a Lot

I had compliments
On my haircut and I smiled...
Thanks a lot, peoples!

I had a great day
Contentment earns me
A ticket to bliss!

I had some good news
But, I kept it to myself
Thanks A LOT, David!!

Little Things Mean a Lot

The heart that loves little things is full of deep content;
The life that serves in little things is often nobly spent;
Do not despise a day of little things,
For bees as well as angels can boast a pair of wings.

Love With a Lot of Luster

Love With a Lot of Luster

What we could see was a big cluster,
Of love combined with a lot of luster;
From the first,
Had a thirst,
For Hillary and we always trusted her.

A Lot To Say

I have a lot to say,
I just don't speak.
To others, my voice is strong,
but to me,
it feels weak...

I have a lot to say,
but I have to bite my cheek.
There's a person to become,
I've yet to reach my peak.

A Hell of a Lot of Nothing Worth Everything

Admittedly

I do not have

Or

Possess very little

But

I sure as hell

Know what

Means

1 hell of a lot

If only just for me

And that's enough

Each and every night

To send me

Soundly off to sleep

One Pot Feeds a Lot

Seasoned water brought to boil Taters and sausage Ten minute wait then add corn And pieces of crab Five minutes then shrimp Short wait drain Chow!

Premium Member A Lot of Moxie

Moxie's has a lot of moxie calling their restaurant Moxie's In fact if you want to know what I think, it's really kinda cocky Their ego's busting out Best meals they shout Great for getting attention in fact it's quite foxy

Premium Member That's A Lot Of Crap

Release the hounds

Call out the guard

Some simple fool

Crapped in my yard

Oh woe is me

Oh heavy sigh

Look at this poo

Piled a mile high

No words will help

No song be sung

Just tell me now

Who flung the dung

Thanks a Lot

THANKS A LOT

It wasn’t the wife’s fault
She got rendered into salt
Yet what the Bible won’t tell us
Is why Lot gets so jealous

Witnessed a nearby cow
“That’s really some know how
The apex of all tricks
Turning humans to salt licks”

A Lot of Love In Few Lines

nutrient
     with
     poetry
     love
       plus
      light... !

      I live
      pure
      Paradise
      alive
      in
      love...

      Extend
      Sun
      understand
      light
      dawning
       love

Bright Sun Golden Silhouettes Trees' uplifted arms Shines against sky's gray whispy clouds Seems to paint fluorescent light against clouds at center Contemplating are shapes and a lot of gray what one who is color blind sees most morns

I Spend a Lot of Time

I spend a lot of time crying

I spend a lot of time daydreaming

About how things could be

Or how I wish they were

Or perhaps those two are the same

I spend a lot of time remembering sadness so well

That it makes me sad again

I spend a lot of time being sad

One Can Learn a Lot

One can learn a lot
If there is a strong will to open the mind
Fill your world with intelligence
Just be gentle and kind
Challenge yourself to grow spiritually and intellectually
Go through that maze
Rise up through those obstacles
So you can see those bright sunny days

A Lot More Than My Ego Got Bruised

Too high
on Rye

Make pass
at Lass

Her date?
Six-eight

Out weighed
(DISmayed!)

BRIEF brawl
Get mauled...

Forsooth!
(Loose tooth)

Oh my!
(Black eye)

Behold!
(Out cold)

------------

Sunlight
Too BRIGHT

I ache
I quake

I heave
I grieve

Poor me
(Agree?)

Premium Member WE HAVE A LOT TO LEARN

At this time in our country’s history
when so many people are so headstrong…
where so many think they are right…
while everyone else is wrong…

It would behoove us all to understand
wisdom, like respect…is something that we earn…
That no one has all the answers
and…
we all have a lot to learn.

It Mean's a Lot

The daffodil's swaying away in curiosity
The angel's blowing down a kiss,
Parent's lending down a hand
To pull you up with a strand,
The school bell singing away
Down in a cluster mummering away,
The music ringing inside our head's
And happiness all over the place
with emotion's scattered all the way.

Premium Member A Lot of Work To Do

“What do you want to be when you grow up?” Her parents asked…
“A bird!” she said with glee.
“I want to glide across the sky
I want to play up in the trees.”

“Well, come on,” they said each grabbing one hand…
without ever asking why...
“We have a lot of work to do…
if we’re going to teach you how to fly.”
