Hello David, I agree vigilantism isn’t a simplistic moral black-and-white. Philosophically I like how “I won’t tell you my opinion” actually tells you. And I am a little DID, so my psychological muse sees wrestling with ideas you know you shouldn’t openly embrace and doing it anyway, in the safest possible way, with a wink. I’ve already had my daily stipend of coffee beans Daniel, although I’m always open to buying (magic beans) from a stranger lol! Yes fundamentally there really is no black and white in everyday life, or indeed my poems, still we must all live together on this planet even if some of us know deep down the cracks are always there, I like prodding them with a big stick! I let God handle it. What ever it is. He can do the best job, much better than I could ever do. I love to see Him at work with those who have hurt me. I have been seeing it over the many years now. Have a Blessed day/weekend writing away...............

Good comment Paula, if God handles those that have hurt you, then sit back and enjoy his/her work, this particular character in my Monoku is being a lot more cagey, cheers David

Vigilantism can also represent the worst in us, such as the Proud boy on Jan 6. But much needed in Minneapolis some might say.

Heya Anaya, I guess that’s the nature of vigilantism, and possibly why I’m being allusive and elusive here, although there definitely is a common denominator between those particular issues you raise, and like my Monoku you don’t have to say who it is lol! Cheers David

Ahh it's been a while since I deciphered a Kavanagh ku - let me see... There's a title - unlikely to be merely functioning as a first line. I think it's about speaking without hearing or perhaps a plea for seeing clearly what's going on but staying out of it :)

A shame these vigilantes don't gather all the facts before taking action. We see it time and time again. Reminds me of that classic western The Oxbow incident. Tom
