Self Destruction

Leaders are worshiped,
Armies are much hailed,
Weapons are much praised,
And innocent creatures are,
Killed in the streets, in the
Homes, while they are working,
While they are sleeping,
The children's heart full of,
Terror, they are told, we are,
Worrier, we win the war,
But who tell the preacher,
Wars cant not be won, and
No way, they can be win,
Both side loose, both side
Destroyed, citizen are killed,
Here and citizen are killed,
There, Winners are those,
Who don’t care, for those,
Their whim must be roar,
Over the dead bodies of,
Innocents, the trees, the birds,
The air, the water, the animals,
The leaders never die in war,
They have power supernatural,
As a common man is taught,
To remain faithful to system,
To praise the ways of system,
To speak up to limits of system,
To praise the armies, to bow to
Money hoarders.
But all are the gestures inherited
Desire of creatures to destroy
Themselves,
Humanity seems tired of living,
Perhaps plans for departing,
And submerge in nothingness,

Inside-Out

Body rejects itself,
Bone-dry and like a furnace,
It burns alive, kill
It is sand, dead

Dig two graves,
Refuse to rot,
This isn’t revenge.

Hate the body,
It’s nothing but problematic.

One ear open,
Stay somewhat conscious.

Maggots crawl in the body, tearing under the skin,
Refuse to rot, feel it inside-out.

Fling a rope,
It will not reach,
YOUR BODY isn’t strong enough.

Dark Side

The dark side’s very nature is self-destruction,
Bringing pain to all, a dangerous seduction.
It spreads its madness, twisting mind and soul,
Yet it’s addictive, taking its toll.

The longer one lingers in its dark embrace,
The harder it is to leave that place.
Though they know it brings them pain,
They too must share in some of the blame.

But why do some turn toward its call?
Are some just born to watch themselves fall?
Not born to the dark, but drawn to its might,
Through circumstance or an affinity’s fight.

They refuse to judge those caught in despair,
For they know the weight they bear.
In the bleakest moments, it feels so near,
As if falling to it is the only way clear.

Unraveled

I could fill a bottle with air,
sunken by liquid depression.
A matter so densely populated.
by false hope and worthless thoughts.

I cower to my need to feel this way,
for this was the path I chose.
and this is the shoe I must eat.
God be damned, and I damned me.

So yes, I'll be having another,
and another, and another,
until the floor quakes.
under the pressure of shattered glass.
and the walls give in to my blows.

And F you for saying a word to stop me.
Don't you know who I am?
You are the son of Adam,
and I am the afterbirth, less than.

Earth can't decompose me.
because I don't deserve the mercy of death.
So, my heart will pump and my liver will fill
and this darkness will swallow me.
until I am nothing but matter.
enveloped by all things vile.

Leave me alone while I shiver.
Forget about me as I remember.
Go back toward the light,
for I will be forever lost.

Hell Bent

Running out of time to act,
flashes in the mind.
Running out of everything,
too late to hit rewind.

Wake and take a hammer to it,
crush it to the bone.
Pulverize what’s left of it,
make sure all life is gone.

Disregard the letters
in the alphabet arranged,
set to spell the answers out
cuz no one wants the plain.

Go on, drink the poison down.
Taste it coat the tongue.
Pleasure covered minutes
laced to form the web now spun.

Make sure every fool who falls
who couldn’t gain control,
stays trapped forever contemplating…
what the demon stole.

After a life of self destruction
My soul's under construction
Can't undo the things from the past
I have lived so fast
Didn't care
Didn't dare
Till life became to much
Fell out of touch
Lost my way
Living just for the day
Time got away
Trying to slow down
Get rid of this frown
Learn to live again
Don't live in back when
Step past the pain
Beyond the rain
Start life anew .
Step past this life I blew
Go on with a smile
Cause it's been awhile
Stepping back into the light
Starting a new fight
One that's right

life’s precious fabric
unravelling strand by strand
Earth weeps

Self Destruction

It was a world of two ideologies
Both wanting to hold sway
Neither of which were prepared
To give anything away
Now it’s a world of two Empires
Neither of which are ready to stop
But the strange thing is the same
Type of people are still at the top
The world is still full of poverty
Disease, famine and despair
But the Megalomaniacs in charge
As always just don’t care.
Nobody seems to find
The situation rather odd
The destruction each will cause
In pursuit of their form of god
And very few seem prepared
To ask the question why
That pursuit pf power requires
Many millions may have to die
Perhaps it’s nature’s way of stating
In a form both graphic and succinct
It’s very nearly the time for
Mankind to go extinct.

Self-Destruction

I walk a rope that shakes by my hand,
the end of which is strung to desire.
I never am to make it to the end,
for I'll throw myself off life's high wire.

The Art of Self-Destruction

I am the queen of self destruction.
Ritualistic Razor sharp scrutiny of my reflection -
constantly spewing hate at my mid-section,
whilst effortlessly faking the pursuit of perfection.

A crumbled up heart beckons restitution in the midst
of train-wrecked relationships,
ruinous friendships,
and crumbled up to do lists,
in white-knuckled fists.

The essence of happiness remains a mere mirage
for one who is an expert in self-sabotage.
With nothing but empty reminders sprayed out on a dreary collage,
it is exhausting living an ever consuming facade.

Procrastinated plans worship at my feet,
whilst brooding and bellowing as I hit snooze on repeat.
Impatiently my ambitions take a seat,
before wisely declaring undeniable defeat.

Daily my mind’s army assumes a familiar avoidant stance.
Love and hate engage, again, in a repetitive dance,
between an avoidant retreat and a stagnant advance.
It is clear: as long as I sit on the throne of
self-destruction,
for me… for being whole..
there will not be another chance..

Fiery Self Destruction

Bound to a fiery chair
Burned by my despair
Scorched by my mistakes' glare
Reality torched me to my last hair
The world melted me with care
My haughty hands throw me down the hatch
And my pride lit the match

Self Destruction

Nature abhors a vacuum,
Loathes right angles,
 But reveres the Corona.
For Nature so loved the corona
It dirked the form
Atop the penile shaft
Rendering the shape
Like a helmeted soldier
Leading the charge.
Nature bequeathed the Corona
Unto our only unbegotten sun
Whirling its solar winds,
Morphing the heavens into
 A frenzied hell.
Nature then knitted corona’s strands
Into tightly wound unseen spheres
Spiked with crimson daggers
Unleashing the globed petard
Of our mutual demise.

I wish I could shut you up
Then all my troubles would go
I wish I could escape for a while
And relax without this constant row
I was born with you pestering me
I grew up with your doubts and negativity
You stopped me achieving more
You said just enough to make me stop
And fed my disbelief and fear
You hinted at things that never happened
You gave disaster a possibility
You said she’ll never love you
You urged me not to try
You’ll not get the job you crave
Or the car in the expensive showroom
Not once did you encourage me
Through your optimistic negativity
And you’re still here- after all this time
You’re whispering to me now
This poem’s just not good enough
And you’ll probably die on the plane
Oh my god what I could have achieved
Without you as my bloody brain.

I ate myself the other day
Unhinged my jaw and chomped away
No crumb was left after I dined
No limbs, or head, or crooked spine
Each bite I took was bittersweet
Laced with love and shamed defeat
I didn't even say goodbye
To all I loved and held so high
My tummy rumbled, so then I ate
What was left of me,
That you didn't take

Still Life

couple on a motor
cycle with a death wish
drum drops
still pond
early morning
coolness broken

pull that poison, pull it deeply
deeply, deeply
pull it deeply
keep that breath, like memory bitter
sweetly taste that lungs can know

a good will, strong, and a one hundred
these are made alone
for breaking
benjamin Wishing, Well behind
our time,
our pennies
are made
for throwing
