Self Destruction

A burning anguish settles within my soul

I apologize, I believe this is the end of me.

The end of my passion for this, all of what was my being

The flame was once anger,

Now, it has burned down to a small crisp

Leaving only a degree of black smoke.

I am sure your flame will reignite once again... all is temporary.. especially pain and emotions... nicely expressed, dear poet..
