Bound to a fiery chair
Burned by my despair
Scorched by my mistakes' glare
Reality torched me to my last hair
The world melted me with care
My haughty hands throw me down the hatch
And my pride lit the match

Me too. The past keeps popping up between my ears and then I burn. Excellent poem.
