Sealed With a Kiss

"sealed with a kiss"

I wear pearls you gave me
but they are not my jewels

I accept flowers you give me
but they are not my beauty

I look to the stars above
but they are not my light

pearls flowers and stars
are all pale compared to you

your love is more than this
always sealed with a kiss

A tenderness teasingly touching my heart;
this mystical magical moment of bliss
is cautiously calling for Cupid’s fine dart,
and hoping on hope that this hunter won’t miss,
so something as sultry is sealed with a kiss.

I sent you a card I've sealed with a kiss,
a love token to win over your heart.
And on it, I wrote of feelings of bliss;
confessing how I've loved you from the start.

You are my love, my muse, my everything,
nothing is more precious to me than you.
For you're the music that makes my heart sing,
and living proof dreams can, and do, come true.

The moon and the stars are jealous of you,
admitting your beauty's beyond compare.
And yet, there is nothing that they can do,
but envy you, staring down in despair.

I have a question that I'd like to pose,
so I brought a bottle of sparkling wine.
And a box of chocolates, plus a rose,
to ask you, will you be my Valentine?

Not Sealed With a Kiss

A baby seal jumped in her arms so she couldn't speak
Thinking fast, I quickly kissed her on her cheek
I hoped that doing this
Not sealed with a kiss
But, "Kissed with a seal" ,might be the phrase of the week!

Sealed With A Kiss

Last night again messaged my wife's feet
Who I do love and sure is so sweet
We have been married for fifty years
That night to my eyes came some tears
When I thought about Hillary' defeat.

Every night continue to do this
Thought of Hillary and her do miss
My wife is forever my darling dear
Glad God for me put her here
My love for her was sealed with a kiss.

I remember when the Everly Brothers
sang, "Sealed With A Kiss."

Sealed With a Kiss

The ring on your finger
Your chosen soul’s mate
Your spouse
Uniting two families
Hers and yours
The vows you exchanged
In the presence of Almighty
The handshake between fathers
The colours on your canvas
Your, self woven destiny
Your marriage sealed with a kiss
Blessed in heaven
 Your sacred union
Cherish each other
With Respect, Honour
Hold fast to Almighty
Walk hand in hand
Through rough waters
With Love and Understanding
And forever live a peaceful blissful life
Sealed with heaven’s kiss

Sealed With a Kiss

A hole has begun to form in my heart
My world has begun to be torn apart
Blackness fills me like the depths of the sea
Why is it I feel I can't break free
Emptiness flows like a raging river
Didn't think the hole could get bigger
There you are with blinding eyes
Watching my life just slip right on bye
Just when I thought it couldn"t get worse
You made my heart completly burst
Nomore hole,emptiness, or blackness
Just my death sealed with a kiss

Sealed With a Kiss

I don't need the added distractions
previews of current or coming attractions
I'm seeing the future crystal clear
and it's sweet as wine when you are near

I don't need the flirtation and all of the games
the one's who said they'd call and forgot my name
I'm not sitting around and not going to mope
this is real baby...you float my boat

you're not making promises you're not going to keep
you're talking of the future and it's all about me
I didn't know loving could ever be like this
I give you my heart...and seal us with a kiss

There was a fair Silkie named Bride
who lost her seal skin, her fine hide,
by the light of the moon
a lover became groom
and she never returned to the tide.

Sealed With a Kiss

She used a kiss for postage stamps
she mailed her letter "neath the lamp
lit by the oldest man in town

she watched him bring his ladder down
he touched her cheek and kissed her hair
and bade her go backhome from there

the twilight gave way to the dark
she watched the street light's golden spark
reflected in some secret eyes
among the lilacs sweet surprise

Her postage kisses found their mark
on male that came in after dark.
