Sealed With a Kiss

I brought you a card I've sealed with a kiss,
a love greeting, from my heart to your heart.
And in it, I wrote of feelings of bliss,
telling you that I've loved you from the start.
I fought to find the right words to convey
how you fill my heart with exultation.
And so, I brought a long-stem rose bouquet,
as a meager form of compensation.
You are my love, my life, my everything,
nothing's more important to me than you.
For you're the music that makes my heart sing,
living proof that dreams can and do come true.
The moon and the stars are jealous of you,
for your innate beauty's beyond compare.
And yet, there is nothing that they can do
but envy you and stare down in despair.
I have a serious question to pose,
so; I brought a bottle of Champagne wine.
And with chocolate cherries and this rose
I ask you, will you be my Valentine?
