“I can listen no longer in silence. I must speak to you by such means as are within my reach. You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me not that I am too late, that such precious feelings are gone for ever.” - Jane Austen, Persuasion
~~~
never let go of the heart who can see you,
without love this startling, life would be so bleak,
God blessed you with this joy to help get you through.
when my heart recalls this love of which I speak,
euphoria colors me in hints of grace,
love so beautiful shines like diamonds, unique.
there is no doubt, this love isn’t too commonplace,
feels endless and it’s moving me to believe
this feeling leaves me with the gentlest embrace.
devotion this kind and true will not deceive,
its destined to stir hope who lauds each desire
this love is more stable than minds can conceive.
love this surprising can kindle a wildfire,
more than passion, love is a satisfier.
God's glory returns to Him alone
all because He's most glorified
when His saints are united in Him
being satisfied by His grace is applied
Bringing glory to God all the more
is connected when receiving much grace
real satisfaction comes only from our Lord
who sends us grace upon grace to His praise
Real living faith comes from believing
on the God of His word eternally true
so take the Lord simply at His word
then true faith will flourish like morning dew
So be pleased to courageously confess
I shall greatly honour my Lord and king
for the Lord hears this for His pleasure
then we can raise our voice, an upward spring
Our greater aim in life is to send glory
high and lifted up to our satisfier
the Lord God alone meets that title
for our great intercessor never will retire
(Quote:
" God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in HIm."
" We shall bring our Lord most glory if we get from Him much grace. If I have much faith so that I can take God at His word. I shall greatly honour my Lord and king.")
Charles H. Spurgeon (1834-1892)
Life brings us many temptations
but God has His remedy warning take care
listen well to His counsel so clear
to ignore them shows a mind so bare
The Lord God Himself loves us so much
showing His care saying be on your guard
against all covetousness that threatens our life
invading our heart seeking to be starred
Our life does not satisfy in things
for possessions are fleeting and vain
the Lord God Himself is forever real
being the rock from the rain
Satisfaction comes only from our living bread
feeding in Christ the satisfier of our soul
He's the one that gives true nourishment
having atoned for our sins made us whole
This is life abundant spiritually renewed
being separated from all that's earthly
living unto the Lord Jesus as our king
for Jesus, we worship for He is worthy
(And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”)
Luke 12: 15 (ESV)
I tore a piece of bread,
From a bread loaf
Said, be blessed! Be blessed!
You shall soon obtain what you contain,
In the alchemy of desired fullness
For this is what you’re made of…
Oh satisfier of form, be satisfied
And merge forth into holy peace,
While my hand moves for another piece.
Oh tiny morsel,
Be blessed! BE blessed!
Your turn has just arrived.
Jesus is perfect in himself
for God has chosen to speak
through the channel of His Son
speaking in the original Greek
Jesus is God's final revelation
the perfect God like instrument
to convey God's authorative word
God the father has divinely sent
The heir of God's appointment
being the possessor and disposer of everything
as predestined as the eternal heir
all things to pass Jesus will bring
How rich is our adorable Jesus?
He had no where to lay His head
but is declared Lord of all
this is His reward His father has said
Jesus made the worlds
with all the human eye can see
He who's image of the invincible God
invisible became visible this we must agree
Only Jesus satisfies the heart
immutable and self sufficient is He
all things Christ upholds
even holding up little old me
