“I can listen no longer in silence. I must speak to you by such means as are within my reach. You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope. Tell me not that I am too late, that such precious feelings are gone for ever.” - Jane Austen, Persuasion ~~~ never let go of the heart who can see you, without love this startling, life would be so bleak, God blessed you with this joy to help get you through. when my heart recalls this love of which I speak, euphoria colors me in hints of grace, love so beautiful shines like diamonds, unique. there is no doubt, this love isn’t too commonplace, feels endless and it’s moving me to believe this feeling leaves me with the gentlest embrace. devotion this kind and true will not deceive, its destined to stir hope who lauds each desire this love is more stable than minds can conceive. love this surprising can kindle a wildfire, more than passion, love is a satisfier.

Dear Gina, What a beautiful declaration of passionate devotion! The Austen quote at the beginning perfectly sets the tone for the intense emotions you capture. I love the imagery of "euphoria coloring you in hints of grace" and the comparison of love to "diamonds, unique." I love how the poem emphasizes the power and stability of this love, a feeling that's "more stable than minds can conceive." It's a heartfelt expression of how this love has transformed you. - Blessings, Daniel

a stunning and captivating poem, dear Gina. I see you, too, are a Jane Austen fan. I've read and re-read many of her books. Her quote, of course, touched me and set an appropriate tone for your poem. You describe a love so sublime, one that Jane Austen alludes to so often. That kind of love is truly a gift from God, one for which I'm thankful every day. I especially liked: this love isn’t too commonplace, feels endless Your poem lifted my heart this morning. Thank you & have a blessed day!

Your poem beautifully captures the essence of love as a guiding light in life's journey. The opening lines, "never let go of the heart who can see you," set a tender tone, emphasizing the importance of being seen and understood in relationships. It paints a vivid picture of love's power, describing it as a source of joy and grace that brightens even the darkest of days. The imagery of being "colored in hints of grace" and love shining " like diamonds, unique" evokes a sense of awe and wonder at the beauty of love.
