Roll Tide

If in my beginnings I saw a photograph I saw that somethings was a mortal fact
A mortal sympathetic pack
My body sympathetic to instrumental tracks
In our relationship in our position within it
Where so relentless on the inside
My heart must beat , I didnt even have a heart
My wasnt cold my heart wasnt there
I brought my heart back to life
On a cold winter night
Sitting there right next to her
Sitting there I could feel the heart stir
And I didnt even have a heart
She didnt have to come to me in the winter night
But she was my girlfriend
Everyday of the week
In the winter bite
We plotted and we scheme to
Rob the bookstore and write all about it
Put it to music and shout it
This is Salem Oregon
From Gra Travieso in the Sae,Gran Travieso said i love you Alabama

Long Time Awa

When yins ye lou are taken awa ,
forever gang intae eternity,
ne,er will ye see them agin,
as eternity is far frae hame.
aye maybes yell see them float by,
in a clear day o sky,
ye can talk tae them when ist yer wont,
but ne,er will ye gain a reply or song,
the kirk it says yell get tae heaven,
where ere yon maybe hidden in cloods,
beyond yer sicht an hid frae hubble ,
an its freends o similar clout.
Oh me freends Eternity is an awfy lang time,
weel beyond oor een an sicht o mine,
aye this life is unfair tae cause sic pain an despair,
tae brek oor herts in a thoosand dauds,
must be workings o hertless gauds.
sae gaither in yer airms yer kith an kin,
tae ignore them aa wid be a sin.
Lou them dearly beyond compare,
dinae mak their hert sair.
Tae hae them leave withoot yer blessing,
wid be tae lose them fur ever mair.
Mak yer peace wi them at war,
offer understauning nae matter
how faur ye hae to travel.

Sleep

My eyes I close, feel it fade
And I soar, Up to the place where lies no air
Finally I let go, for I cannot hold forever mair
My blude runs cold and sae I fly
Ye flesh of mine, Thee doth sleep one day.

Awol

AWOL

My GF seems to have gone AWOL
So I’ve raised the alarm with INTERPOL,
With the F.B.I and the C.I.A.
And even tried Y.M.C.A.
An S.O.S on the B.B.C.
A daily call to N.Y.P.D.
I’ve written to every A&E
(Enclosing, of course, an S.A.E.)
Scotland Yard say their C.I.D.
Have checked every seaside B&B
I want to speak to her U.C.
To ask if she’ll B.R.B.

Tonight I’m starting to visit A.A.
I’ve just heard she’s married in L.A.

Yon crimson tippit flower we see
Sae delicate,sae fragile, sae wee
Blood red wi the wounds of weary time
And no the victim of ony crime
No long to stay in this heartless world

While far above the stars have whirled
Their radiance glitters and constant
Ageless beside our transient plant
But even these are ephemeral
Black holes swallow things sidereal

Before us eternity or void
One only has mankind fully buoyed
The other leaves our kind sorely pressed
And brings no consolation ,no rest

The Scottish Flag

The Scottish flag is a Rampant rare;
It flutters majestically in the air.
It's the emblem of my land sae fair.....bonnie Scotland.

Heaeken To the Heart

Hearken to me the heart because

I’m the poet soup

Hearken to my precious treasures,

And abolish my pressure.

Hearken to the heart, listen to its

generosity; thou it is in the

left but it is generously right.

Follow the river and find the

sea, locomate your heart and

find the awaiting sae.

Hearken to the voice of the

rushing water, close your eyes and

feel the flow, hearken to the heart

because it forever grow.

Listen to me your heart for i’m your curve,

your call, your fond, your love, your

center, your essence and core, and the

seat of your emotion sitting in

that body core.

Premium MemberBurns' Lament

When ah sairly look doon frae up oan high
Frae ma cloud warmed dookit in the azure sky
At aw the drunken bloated bletherums
Wha meet fur ma birthday's kilted getherums
Tae feast sae dearly oan neeps an' tatties
Wi' yon sonsie puddin' we aye cry haggis
Tae toast wi' wee haufs o'usquebaugh ma name
Ah huvtae admit tae a real sense o' shame
Ah widnae want tae be seen deid wi' ony o'thum.
No e'en fur the whale o' a guid king's ransom.

Sic beanos fur ithers might be fine 'n' dandy
Just gie me time fur a wee bit o' hoochmagandy.
'Twas wi' the lassies ah dearly lo'ed tae gambol
Fur they queens aw did mak ma knees tae tramble.

Geordie

Geordie is ma brother; some say he is a hero!
Me, ah ken better an’ his rating’s close tae zero!
He likes tae hog the flair wi’ jokes oh say dreary’
Efter twenty meenits we grow a wee tadge weary.

He has a better side but it’s hidden oot o’ sight,
An’ onything he says, Ye’ve guessed, he is ayewis right!
Ah’m no sayin’ he is stoopid, that wid be unkind;
Aw he really needs is a kick up his behind.

Hooever, he’s ma brither sae ah’m gi’en’ him some flack;
Ah’m share that when he reads this he’ll gi’e me plenty back:
Ah suppose ah really like him, weel jist a tiny bit,
Even wi’ his awfy childish doonbeat wit!

Ah should stope ma ramblin’s an tell ye somethin’ guid!
It isna really true that his heed is made o’ wid;
Naw, he’s truly brilliant….when he is far awa’,
An’ talkin’ oan the telephone he’s like a babblin’ Craw.

AYE FOLKS THAT’S MA BRITHER!!!!!! An’ ah love him!

Princess of Castle Fraser

White steeds drew me closer
To my new home, sae very dear
The great stone castle came in view
The soldiers their brass horn blew
I stepped out all dressed in white
Ae bonnie princess of medium height
My dark eyes took the weaponry room
As I was led inside by my groom
He took me gently to the green chamber
Sae lovely, I still remember
The maids helped me settle down
Biding for the promised night in a shimmery gown
As evening advanced, my heart flutter’d
And nature spirits around me mutter’d
But alas the groom ne’er came
Black knights emerged in his name
Ae sword of silver touched my breast
Blood poured down over his vest
My lifeless body was dragged along
The stairs that were oh sae long
My soul watched in silent anguish
Ae vanishing dream that I wanted to cherish
They tried to wash away the bloodstains
Unaware, they would always remain
And today as I float amid these darkened halls
And sing my tunefu’ music thru the walls
Ae chilling breeze keeps me company
But my heart longs for a revenge on past villainy

" Faere Lass "

Aye... 'tis nay awa' e'er seen,
Faere lass ha' coom a'shore,
Frill bonnet oot & lairds do preen,
Prim lass ayre coom folklore.

'Twas maid fa's upon us few,
Such singin' springtime dew.
Smitten swain nane a'dither,
Wh'aur his hame coom hither.

Nay tae brak such trill sweet song,
E'er drifted throo day long.
Naethin' seen o'bonny lass,
Fae o'erhigh sun sae coom tae pass.

Prim her brow yet cauld her e'e,
Whistlin' gane she's sae coom to dae.
Hae nae e'er else nor song such e'ermore,
Faere lass ha' coom ashore.
