The Women preys of Mercenaries

As I heard a sad
story of a woman named
Elysée,
I am standing to tell the entire world about it.
The woman who knows her value.
As some mercenaries called
M23 entered her house around
a day and foced her to lay on the ground
 while looking at the sky.
She listened to them and laid easily
on the floor to avoid to be slaughtered
or shot publicly.
As she refused to sleep
with some mercenaries,
 She was hit,
                raped,
           and mutilated ...
her eyes gouged out
in the presence of her children
                                        and husband.
I can say loud, "
Woe to these heartless
Rwandan mercenaries."

As the women celebrate today
March 8, 2025.
My call to you dear mamas and sisters,
" feel the pains of Congolese women
Oh wise women of the World.
Stand with the women of Goma
and Bukavu who are victims of daily atrocities.
So sad as many women of northern, southern
Kivu and ituri continue to be preys of some rebels
 and mercenaries.

A Dagger's Blade

Your laughter haunts my lonely nights,
Memories echo in empty halls,
Each whisper stabs my aching heart,
Once we soared, now shadows fall,
A friendship lost, a love undone,
In silence, tears become my song.

There He Sadly Grows

From a little sapling to a tree,
He grows, he grows to be,
Stuck to its roots still,
Can’t go anywhere, can’t be free,
Stuck in the soil,
His own not allowing him to go,
He just sits there, where he sadly grows

Words and Me

Now I nourish words,
or the words nourish me!
Trust me now it's groundless,
as in each other's vicinity, we feel glee.
And black nights pass by,
and we remain close but free;
not as caged in a jealous lover's company,
but soulful: that whatever we feel we set them free,
to be scribed into the paper
to immortalize each other's vicinity.

Kissed By the Blues Lyric

kissed by the blues (lyric)
hay baby
hay you
do you know
why i
listen to the blues
why i
like that little
heart braking tune

it so i can remeber
you!
the good and the bad
of loving you

oh!
sometimes
i cry
sometimes i laugh

but i still love to
cry over
losen you

you you you

you were my
good time
and my bad

you had my hart
in the begining

and now i am
sing my way to
the ending

and when the
last note
come flowing
from my heart

just know
that my
love runs
blue over you

Love Hurts

It's not the void of your absence,
rather you are too full into my heart.
I'm trying to defy your silent presence,
but it's really hard to stay apart.
My pen is paining,
so as my heart.
I'm learning each day from you to be unknown,
but my heart is denying being completely apart.
Oh, you heartless, go far or be mine forever.
Your ferrying is hurting me more.
Will I be free from this ache, ever?

Lovelorn

I am setting you free,
go wherever you want to go, be whoever's beloved you want to be.
I will not bother you with my love anymore.
I will not run towards you like flies towards the fire, I will not adore.
Let the distance takes the place between us if our love is not destined to be.
Oh, my dearest I'm setting you free
like a soul is leaving from a living body;
I'm trying to resolve all these, but still, my soulless body is full of your entity.

Destiny

They are coexisting
like the earth and the far sky,
split by horizon.

Thorns

I reached out
stretched farther than ever before
I'm not sure what I expected
why I thought it might
end differently this time
Audentis fortuna iuvat
Fortune favors the bold
My fingers pass through
shadowy specters
grasping at ghosts
phantoms of fantasies
mocking me maliciously
leaving me to languish alone
lost in a mist of nothingness
that swirls like smoke and ashes
cremated creations of my own mind
Hope revealed to be but a vine
covered in thousands of thorns
in which I am entangled
slicing and piercing my soul
in its most sensitive places
as the clouds above burst
soaking me in salt water
Yet I will dare to dream
again tomorrow
that someday my hand
will take hold of something solid
Someone in that mist will grip mine
the stinging silence broken
by a simple 'hello'

Letter

O cloud! cross this distance, float away to him and say,
that my days are growing darker without his sunray.
If there is more cloud on his sky,
tell him that, if not the sunshine, but I could be sunflower of thy.

Unnoticed

The world went on without me
No one noticed at all
after I winked out
like a burned out lightbulb
the last flickers of flame
licking what little
is left of the wick
of a dying candle
before the room goes dark
A wisp of smoke wafting
Words were all I had
to give but
no one wanted them
like the gift of an
ugly sweater
left lying unworn
in the box in which it came
on a closet shelf
for the sake of propriety
until it’s been forgotten
by the giver
and can be tossed
without guilt
So I sit in solitude
musing on
meaninglessness
as these four walls
cave in and crush me

Tsunami

Me
The girl I was
The woman I am
The sum of someone
who has never been enough
for anyone
I've walked on eggshells
my entire existence
never having trod
on solid ground
The soil under my shoes
always shaky
Trembling
Tossed around
Torn apart and tattered
Left lonely and shattered
Tidal waves of tragedy
Tsunamis of uncertainty
Bracing against their blows
throwing me off balance
Unable to gain traction
to move forward a fraction
Tripping and slipping
Boxed in by barricades
Struggling to survive and swim
To hold my head above the water
Clinging to the detritus of dreams
as the angry sea washes over me
Desperately crying out in anguish
For help I know will never come

Epitaph

Farewell, au revoir, arrivederci, auf wiedersehen
to the world that never cared to know my name
To the cerulean seas I've never seen
in which I never swam and searched for shells
and perfect round pearls reflecting rainbows
in the summer sunshine
To the mountains I never got to marvel at
and eagerly ascend to their summits
To the city of my dearest dreams
where I never had the chance to dance
in its palaces and parks
among the flowers and the fountains
To my prince who never found me
to stir my soul from slumber with a kiss
so that I could see colors and know the bliss
of everlasting love sincere and true
To you

Premium MemberA Voice Not Heard

A voice not heard
A face not seen in many days
The warmth of her lips caressing mine, I crave for everyday
The warmth of our love will get through this
The lessons learned will forever hold us together
Numerous thoughts tangle in my head
My eyes water tight no more
The heart beats out of sync

The Broken

You want to take a walk in the broken's shoes?
Feel the pain of the cut, the burned and the bruised.
Those of us who can't keep away from the abuse..
How about you?
Do you feel it too?
The pain of walking in the broken's shoes.

You struggle to see how the broken still stand
Those of us who just need a loving hand,
Scattered across this depressing land,
All wearing the same black band,
The sign of the hopelessly damned.

Can you see this world's light?
Well to us its not to bright.
Just hoping for the delight
But only living with fright,
And a sorrowful plight,
The children of moonlight.

So to the moon we stare
Wondering if anyone would care
To understand the pain we share.
To save us from this nightmare,
And the band we all bare.

So take a walk in the broken's shoes.
Understand the pain of the cut, the burned and the bruised.
Save us from the world's abuse
Let us know what you choose
Since you're one of us now too.
