A Fathers Sacrafice

At 2 a.m. the engine hums & the road awaits his tread,
A departing message on the front door camera to his wife and two kids, as he slips away in dread.
The house is warm, the night is cold, his heart is torn in two, for love is here, but duty calls,

so now I'm never sure.

Sacrifice 
Hardships, however hard they try,
Will always be cruel.
Down, down, down into the darkness of the hardships,
Gently they go - the harsh, the barbarous, the inhumane.

A Demons Demonstration of Sacrafice

She appeared through the darkness,
Crawled into my bed
Twisted herself right into my head.

She cast a spell
That would last all night
And dissipate with morning light.

I would tell you 
If I could
She spoke a language not understood.

I was mesmerized.

I followed her right into a mist.
