SPONTANEITY
One day, the idea came to me, just like that
And my own, not inspired by some deity
A bit like pulling a rabbit from a hat
So could it now be time for some gaiety
And wave goodbye to ever making a plan
Maybe time to welcome spontaneity
Ignoring any rhyme that will never scan
I must admit, that is very new for me
Doing it my way, raising a rebel clan
My rules-based brain will not work that way you see
The here and now, is a transient moment
And it feels just like some sort of fantasy
I would never wish to cause any ruction
As I am here, still waiting for instruction
From dawn to dusk, life's rhythm flows,
Children march, adults toil, time goes.
Household chores consume, days, time flows,
Elderly sit, watch, sigh, with vows.
This morning, hope rose with the sun,
A splendid day where dreams are spun.
Social media chats live & fun,
Ends up with an endless ruction.
Retiree's no longer in rush,
A Research pursuit brings a hush.
Writing poems, a spark of mush,
The muse's touch, real distant wish.
Evening brings a sleepy embrace,
Hoping to catch the next dawn's pace.
A stiffly worded instruction
That should commence with a ruction,
Opening fire; next action,
Lifeless Bodies sole attraction...
But then what of Reconstruction?
Easier to crush than to rebuild
Either as one man or a guild;
Often tough to achieve a Peace Talk
When you've had a real long bad walk
From my lips A loud "Correct Sir!"
But I was shaken down to my fur…
From there straight to Repented's Church
I'll be there waiting for their search!
They'll me pick up plus my letter:
A Resignation's not later...
Disobeying military order:
Pure risk but could be in order.
Khaki has never other fabrics liked:
It has even their wearer’s bodies disliked,
Their forgivable flaws, their blunders hyped
And their names and their nicknames mistyped!
Sometimes you hear, “Like onions slice them!”
And begun a solving of what wasn’t a problem;
Bound to uncannily unfold
What Plain Malice does hold …
By then, it would be fanciful
To ask your questions – A roomful:
‘What and what next shall happen?’
And whether or not blades shall sharpen …
It shall have been a busying with fiction
By the time we triggers eschew from ruction
Khaki has seldom The Plain clothes liked
And has, indeed, other fabrics spiked;
Often through insistence on Inaction
And treatment of either as a faction.
Hardly does zero fidget
Wielding all the calculation rights of another digit,
In some environment wielding even the more;
In those said places showing 'How core',
By it a solver is dumped,
If by him neglectfully jumped...
The best Mathematician set ablaze,
If he doesn't make it his base.
The examiners tool for nullifying a performance
Preparing candidates and exam for another romance,
Ones animosities against it to wait,
Until one has Mathematics abandoned...
Our fervor for it our lot -our fate,
Until we are no longer by calculus condoned.
Always your Zero prejudices hold over...
Still your finer, better option
With this spherical naught settle your ruction.
Finally jungle
before tactless ruction, steal
in spite of the wall
Halloween is here!
But have no fear!
This is my guide so you survive.
Beware the graveyards full of ghosts and ghouls.
The graveyard is where you will see zombies feasting.
Stay in the light, form large groups, don't be fools.
Beware the alleys vampires hang about usually toff.
One look in their eyes and… boo! You're paralyzed.
Carry holy water, garlic and a cross, it fights them off.
Beware the skies alien abductions!
Butt probes, clench cheeks, hopefully you stay breathing.
This one's unavoidable good luck, maybe try some ruction?
Beware they pull you in with sweet smells, and words, it’s bewitchery.
It's diabolical, witches plans with humans hypnotized.
Show some cautionary there's lots of trickery.
Halloween is here!
But have no fear!
Follow this guide and you will survive.

Young Peter is far from perfect
Teen anger he fails to deflect
His trail of destruction
Has caused such a ruction
You should see the items he’s wrecked
His parents do little to stop him
They’re addicts, and too busy popp’in
Heroin and pills
Which don’t cure their ills
The outlook for Peter is grim
He ‘borrowed’ a car with his mates
and drove very fast round estates
they didn’t get far
cos they crashed the car
they’ve not even got their L plates!
He shoplifts from the local shops
Been caught many times by the cops
The stupid young fool
He breaks ev’ry rule
T’will be a good job when he stops.
He damaged his neighbours new wall
With spray paint he began to scrawl
Words that were so rude
With pictures so crude
His actions they did so appal
These issues are across our nation
Good morals are a strong foundation
We must guide our youth
With respect and truth
Perhaps it will be their salvation!
Unsuitable for contest as its not free verse but i thought it was still worth posting:-)

Words of Mass Destruction
Words like bullets do not have eyes, as they fly in our hearts and materialize
Deleterious breaths that we soon despise, words written in stone we idealize
Warring weaponed words that paralyze, wounding wandering words terrorize
Torpedo texts thrown to criticize, paranoid punitive parasites will pulverize
Like the Atom bomb, words are strong only use them wisely where they belong
Some create a lullaby or sweet a song, while others use them to do their wrong
Words of deception create no affection only intervene with the inflating infection
Annihilating in their corrupt convention, wary words that bring rigorous rejection
Of the negative neurotic neglect, wording witches and warlocks of their architect
Dehumanized discord of disconnect, vengeful letters lashing will always resurrect
Words can frighten as well as enlighten, some will delight in words that tighten
Words of corruption bring self-destruction, a raging ruction of a serpent seduction.

Judgmental People And Haters
Sponsored by: Brenda Chiri
at times the moon shines so brightly I can barely stand to look at it
surreptitiously glaring down at me with those eyes
those eyes that leave me abstractedly ruminating over whether
or not
or whatever the case may be
my countenance betrays all hope of a feigned
temperance
can I have that quality?
Incandescent is the light that unshadows my smile so sardonically curving
through my swirls of smoky musings
thinking im so poetic, so artistic in the night
garish process of dark conceited nonverbalizations
while that auroral light
inadvertently uncovers the illicit ruction within my soul
tenaciously I fight
covering my weakened eyes
but the light, oh, resplendent light this
inevitable montage of enigmatic radiance you penetrate
murky and fathomless depths of inconsequential entrancement that
for all they seem are the pitch of all blackness riding my soul
somewhere
or nowhere
You, ever waxing more brilliant,
captivate my very essence with luminous splendor you scandalize me with
the stunning provocation of your unreasonable caress.
