Retired - ITQ

From dawn to dusk, life's rhythm flows,
Children march, adults toil, time goes.
Household chores consume, days, time flows,
Elderly sit, watch, sigh, with vows.

This morning, hope rose with the sun,
A splendid day where dreams are spun.
Social media chats live & fun,
Ends up with an endless ruction.

Retiree's no longer in rush,
A Research pursuit brings a hush.
Writing poems, a spark of mush,
The muse's touch, real distant wish.

Evening brings a sleepy embrace,
Hoping to catch the next dawn's pace.

The routine of retirees is rightly summed up. This is exactly how the rhythm of each day flows.... "Evening brings a sleepy embrace, Hoping to catch the next dawn's pace." This is how each day ends too. Beautifully written dear Jay!
