I'm wide awake, listening to the roar.
My musings become a glowing rainbow.
I lie pique designing vile dreams offshore.
I dream of an ominous sky shadow
Away from the ad nauseam skid row.
As political cases broach their peak.
To load airwaves with the rowdy prevail
Irritating and feeble header seek
While I slept, I grasped the heaven exhale
Moans were roundly rejected by the meek

Peeking out from behind the bed was a wide banded raccoon king.
I thought he was a regular raccoon, for I did not know of such a thing.
He bared his broken yellow teeth and gave me a bit of a fright.
You see I was in my pajamas, ready to turn in for the night.
How am I getting him out of here? I asked a 911 operator on the phone.
She thought it was hilarious and told me to write it up in a poem.
But he is a wild animal, I told her. And he is scary and could be mean.
He rolled his eyes to the ceiling, and I saw the left one was green.
He’s got a green eye! I said to the operator; there was fear in my voice.
My name is King Rickery Roo Rowdy Rollens Rugubuggy Royce.
He said this with authority, and I felt he might be rather tame.
He sat down and challenged me to a wild monopoly game.
We became good friends, King Rickery Roo and I.
He comes every once in a while when the tides are way high.
He loves my bathroom and my yellow rubber ducky too.
I do not ask, but I would guess he also uses my loo.

"Merry Christmas to all", says Sam the Stork
As he parties with some friends
They are laughing and joking merrily
As they boogey til the end
Leo the Lion is letting his mane loose
And of course things aren't complete without good ol Mother Goose
Frank the Fox and Stewie the Snake
Join Willy the Weasel with an intent to take
Harry the Hippo just wants to grub
While Susan the Swan just wants some love
Different animals all around just trying to get smitten
Deangelo the Dog is dancing with Krissa the Kitten
Everybody just wants to have a good time
Let tomorrow be tomorrow but today lets be fine

Ouch ouch ouch bellers old Claus
Toes now crushed by reindeer paws
He dropped his pringle
Poor old Kris Kringle
Rowdy Rudolph was the cause.

There once was a prizefighting cop named Mick
Whose two fists flew furiously quick
He saw a big rowdy drunk
Whose awful breath really stunk
Mick flashed his badge, then took out his nightstick
But that drunk was truly a great poet
And his whiskey-fueled lips really showed it:
"Hey, cop, watch my lips
As I rotate my hips
~ You're a mite light, and everyone knows it"

The moon held its finger
and let it linger
to his amiable full pursed
lips and whispered:
Zip the chatter
earth is trying to slumber.

ZOOOOOOOMING speedily…
Tires squeaking from exhaust… high in volume
Racecar spews out smoke…
Blinding the eyes of a thousand fans
Blooming havoc…
Explosions avalanche downwards
Racecar drives fast and furiously
Awesome feelings launch through me
Projecting panic and twisted bliss
Catching the audience’s full attention…
Tension between challengers increase
Who could stand in their way… not even the coaches
Racecar screeches on the racing street…
Ain’t this competition neat? Come! Take a seat!
This event is brilliant – it’s such a treat!
Producing thrill or disappointment…
Car organs, fragments, shards, remains, limbs, veins
Spurts out in flames… flying at every possible direction
Countless racecars… barely functions – this scene is extremely horrendous!
Yet, the victories are gracious!
Vibrant applauses and thanksgiving triggers enlightening cheer
Have no fear!!!
The moment is ever so precious!
Racecar…you make so much racket and suspense!
Rowdiness is in your nature…who will pay the expense??
