Premium MemberCarry my heart in your arms through the mist between worlds

Carry my heart in your arms through the mist between worlds,
To the place where dreams germinate and reality sheds its garments.
In a sanctuary of love, a corner of eternal spring and honeyed nights,
A couch of seraphs where souls weave embraces, innocent and fine.
Let us flee from huts where illusion builds thrones of sand and smoke,
Thoughtful antechambers where the shadows of false heroes round off.
Toward the pure ray where consciousness shines without script or scent,
In a glade of light and half-shadows, where forgiveness washes away the bluish embers.
In an ascent over the peaks, where clouds raise their kingdom,
Or down, where springs hide their sweet murmurs, depths of preserved dreams.
Destiny holds no thresholds, in the heart of the sky or in the spring of the Eleatic earth,
The secret song overflows, calls me towards your radiance, the silvery echo that consoled me.
Sing of your splendor with a lyre, in an ode not yet dreamt by the eyes of the world.
Beside you, I will be when the harbor reveals itself,
Awaiting the grace that bathes us in calm, like a wedding with the storm blessed.

I Am Your Mirror

Mother,
I am your mirror of silvery look
Your reflection speaks of me,
Though you grow old as winter
I grow as the kindling spring.
If I grow as a flower
So bright in your garden
you are the colours of my petals
your image so true in me!

You are my river
Boundless in love
flowing with my feet
Wherever I move.

So many oceans you are!
It is an ocean in your eyes
yet another in your heart
Flooded with rain of love.

Unchanging like the sun
Unveil light of love in every turn,
Smiles are waves on your lips
Though pained like tree in snow.

Tangle my hair in your soft palm
like breeze of spring,
you are thoughtful like the bird
sitting alone in your garden of love
Craft a song in undying words
Reach to us quickly fading grief.

You are indeed my worlds
Round off to all loveliness I dream,
You are the unforgotten letters
Of all my startling secrets.

Composed and copy right by Rajendra K. Padhi.

Scotland the Free

Have pity on the Scott’s ruled
By the Brexit voting sassenach
Who don’t seem to understand
We too want out country back.
Arbroath Smokies for breakfast
Porridge seasoned with salt
Kedgeree, Haggis, neaps and tastes
With wee drams of single Malt.

Pints of Heavy Friday nights
The working weeks end
Words of wisdom swapped
With true and blethered friend.
Fish and taties frae the chippie,
Deep fried Mars Bar to follow
Just to round off the night
A sweet delight to swallow.

Then the planning to drive
The Sassenachs from our soil,
Take back all our fish and
What’s left of North Sea oil.
Home Rule For Scotland
Restore our law and Order
Keep those thieving Brits
To their side of the border.

We'll gladly offer asylum
To those few of sound mind
Who want to up sticks and leave
Those heathen Tories far behind.
Let them keep their wee King
They’re always asking God to save
We’ll have the massed pipe bands
Loudly playing Scotland the Brave

Goodbye United Kingdom
Land of thieving Tory
Living on faded memories
Of Passed hope and glory.
Scotland the Brave
Scotland the free
Goodbye puny England
We’re all so well shot of thee

Premium MemberI Was Livid the Day They Offered Me the Nobel Prize

This letter arrived this morning..
"Dear Sir, it is with great honour to inform you
That with the perspicuity of realistic narrative art
And the diversity and universality of myth
Your work illuminates the human condition in the world of today
You have therefore been awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature
Cheers, you're the man."

What audacity
To disturb this idiosyncratic taste bubble
This stun and cut bluestocking

My 35 second play
My mango tango d drops
My surgical quality

I ain't getting on a horizontal float wheel
Stockholm can screw themselves
When reprobate blackguards are inferring

I'll stay here
If there's a need for shooting to start
I'll start shooting

Fun bags and polluted cities
Round off my morning, honey
Time for a tea

Medieval queens used to drink pints
I'll 'ave two for breakfast
I am not for sale Stockholm

Captain Hook went to Eton
I've got my bachelors
Leave this knack mental giant alone by-blows

The Meal

On Christmas Day the meal sings,
The music lies wide open to call,
Sparks fly out from the fire place,
And Santa is here, present for all.

Too much is not enough or false,
The binge effaces the nativity,
Combine bacon with sausage tall,
Add cranberry to bread - clarity.

Up at 6.30am is not too early,
The holiday flies summer as twin,
Grins of greeting gesture the red,
With gifts appropriate to hotly fin.

Believing in happiness upon burl,
Exchanges stick through the year,
And what you’ve done is told,
As the heads round off in cheer.

Then outside the greenery greets,
As contrasted with snow or pave,
You say goodbye to the pleats,
By waving, already the inner flave.

Whether you want to know, story,
About religion, or not - is up to you:
Flick channels on the tele ancient,
Offering hymns or Santa Clause 2.

Black painting square is on the cutting
           edge of minimal art
Carefully placed, post modern dark, invites
           patrons' pale talk.
Lives needing inspirational brush work to
           round off purple edges.

No Fatigue

You know, there is no fatigue yet,
At least the whiskey was silvered.
Lo and behold, the age is just a shock,
And it turned my head terribly.

I'm not tired, not at all!
Where does age come from here?
But time suddenly flies faster,
And the years begin to round off quickly.

And I feel the strength of the old tide,
But tomorrow it will be different.
Life is not for those who are very cowardly,
And it's not about luck.

But I'm not tired, not at all!
Don't expect me to give up without a fight!
I will win back many more years,
And I will not let time flow in vain!

Early Autumn

So azure the early September's sky,
mirrors outshined, away sapphires shy.

Up to thin air melts dog days' trace,
down to soil sinks continual cicadas' squeal.
randomly dozens of dragonflies dart apace;
Snug and slothful, bask teams of pond teal.

Lotuses leaves fold and hide
to round off summer tide.

Welcoming golden autumn everywhence cruises brisk whiff,
vaporized is my neighbor matron's miff,
vivacious yonder maidens' gamboling spree.
Nodding in elation whether chartreuse foliage shakes off the maidenhair tree.

Premium MemberThank You Pd

A Special Thank You To Irma Linda, aka Poet Destroyer or PD,
for her odd numbered donation to Samara's Medical Fund recently.
PD, my lovely, Are You Freaking Kidding Me?
You donated that odd number just to drive me crazy
with my odd number OCD thingy.
I'll just round off the total with my $5.00 donation made daily,
and I'll do the same with anyone and everyone who donates oddly,
but you already knew that, didn't you PD?
Geez, this crazy woman just loves to screw with me.
Seriously, once again, Thank You Sweetie.

Desert Story

Stones inadvertently resemble pain
sharp when raw
freshly torn from rock.

Witnesses of time, they fill with voices
the ridges round off,
become children's cheeks.

Afterwards
they shrink,
stone egg cells
in an eternity of ideas.

Days Numbered

Can't wait to see the rain of sunshine on my skin,
Dripping heat and prosperity against my fleshy limb

Words are like numbers, add them up until they make sense
Realize algebraic conversation often will make you dense

Weird

Like black hair and crimson lips for the heel on my shoe
Haha, you lie there and I am here with you.

Facination will draw you in like a puzzle in the wind,
Where the peices of either luck or fate click and clamp together in the square

Round off the tenth sentance to the nearest decimal,
I will not stop here.
