Premium Member Potato Retribution Nightmare

Lord, tell me it isn't so.
Today's the day I've been laid low -
dreaming I was a potato.
I found out it was real,
when a man like me said, "time to peel".

Premium Member GREYHOUND BUS RETRIBUTION

Big, Bold and Sleek
Greyhound Bus
Bus honor
City to City, Town to Town
Observation upon observation
Remembering viewing the Rocky Mountains
Standing tall and proud
Totally Majestic
Being greeted by an Arizona Indian wave
Sitting on a white horse in red and white attire overlooking the overpass
Sight before eyes seeing the Mormon Tabernacle Church in Salt Lake City, Utah
Open Roads, Steep hills and endless mountains
Experienced a young pregnant Woman on the bus go into labor in the state of Nevada
What was supposed to be a 30 Minute Rest Stop turned into 2 hours
Our Greyhound Driver timed the young woman’s labor contractions
A major hospital happened to be across from where we stopped, and their medical team carried the young woman off the bus on a stretcher
Everyone on the bus felt like family as they looked out for one another
Travel for me on Greyhound was always an adventure
North, South, East and West
America and I are acquainted
The spirit and merit
Up close and personal
Through the watch of time
Greyhound bus base
Never any time to waste
Greyhound bus travel
Into the sunset of my mind treasure chest
Hound dog
The ride
The experience.

Premium Member DIVINE RETRIBUTION-

She was a controver for she ate his heart
She lied to him and in awe and do part
Prostate she stood out of his will
She proceeded to be deceitful still
So he yetly forgave her
For he looked in the mirror
For he saw her in Him and him in her

Seeketh the Prey

Pray for redemption, will you?
Cry, cry your blackened tears.
Knee bends and splits in stony
supplication.

Pray for deliverance, will you?
Sculpt your catalogue of sin.
A history of misery that has twisted
hearts and corrupted innocence.

Pray for sanctity, will you?
Hands intertwine between prison bars.
Iron cuffs link wrist to cold confinement
and solid perpetuity.

Pray for salvation, will you?
Inhale fuel baptism.
Eye, ear and mouth sear as devoted
regrets ripple from blistered lips.

Pray for purification, will you?
Swallow burning match.
Life explodes into cleansing flame.
Melt down to fiber, layer by layer.

Pray for resurrection, will you?
Angels will not weep, scream or mourn.
Even God will turn away as he understands
that where the slain are, there is me.

Retribution

Twilight was the time of day
as well they do concur
about the hour of crepuscular dusk
or evening if you prefer
there in the gloaming
altho' the light was slightly dimmer
I took a look at the situation
and saw more than quite a glimmer
of absolute absurdity the altercation confrontation
as if every nation were to follow the Law
of Exact Retaliation an eye for an eye
we'd all be sightless both you and I
or Reciprocal Justice a tooth for a tooth
for in truth me and you'd
have nothing at all with which to chew
and all done in the name of what
I'll only surmise
it's just for man to prove he can
if so it could be our demise
as we would find
unable to feed we'd go hungry
while the blind lead the blind

Premium Member The Axe Grinder

He hones his purpose on a stone whet of spite,
Edge kissed to gleam in the dead of night.
Relentless is the echo tuned to hindsight.
Endless in the knowing his cause is right.

His grip is firm, his whetstone flat.
His purpose honed to revenge in tit-for-tat.
The axe grinder, can't ever get over that.
Old grudges are ground in, with spittle spat.

The sparks fly from grinding wheel.
Spun to remove the scars in steel.
Caught in armor on the leg and heel,
Of the foe that stood up from their kneel.

Sharper minds cut cleaner truer lines,
In wood chips, slivers, shaves and fines,
Cut deeper deeper in, to find the quick that binds,
The grinder to the hurt and pain he mines.

Premium Member retribution reveille

justice casts a shadow
telling the time on a sundial
echoing retribution
to come when power play
shifts to reverse

The Retribution

In life, revenge most of the time
Doesnt come quickly
Or the next day
Or the next month
Or next year
But when it comes
It comes and live with you
In your entire life.

Retribution Is Coming

In shadows lurk
The whispers dire
Retribution
Fuels the fire
With echoes
Of his past in tow
A storm approaches
Winds will blow

Retribution

Everything that you do
Is permissible, but not
All are rewarding.

Premium Member retribution

the vanquished were mocked
humiliated
their graves were unmarked
memory erased

that day space was scarred
it wept silently
time too held its breath
in stench of decay

womb of Mother Earth
became infertile
Schumann’s resonance
dropped its frequency

the sun dimmed its light
moonlight became grey
birds no longer sang
with doomsday looming

Sinner's Retribution

Hands clasped, eyes closed
Future’s dim, stories untold
Awaiting the ember flame
brimming with toiling shame

Pleading for a broken retribution
Grasping for my long, lost salvation

What have I done?
Where have I gone?
I’ve lost my way under the guiding sun
Blemished sins that I hadn’t shun

Once more basking in this credence of light
Hoping that I don’t get lost again in the recurring night

Forgive me Father, for I have sinned
Allow me to rest in my contempt so grim
Rid me of this ill-fated friend I call my mind
Help me gather my thoughts of the sublime.

Else, I shall wrap myself in the absolute
Hoping to escape my share of death’s loot.

Premium Member Learning From Loss

The hardest losses
are those too late to repair
what has been win/win time lost
to despair

Just as love
cannot co-arise
where fear grows
fully uprisen
a prison
predicting anger's nearby
impetuously apprised
surprise.

So too,
Freedom cannot thrive
where addiction has hard helped
us feel we are not softly worthy
to survive

"Loser" labelled struggles
with addiction
cannot feel free of affliction
nor can giving in
to addiction's short-term affections,
powers to feel escape
from personal
and communal,
economic
and political,
monocultural
and monotheistic
OverPowers

Social judgment,
blame
and shame,
co-detachment
non-communication
developing hard
stiffly cold silent screaming
excommunication

Depressing loneliness
isolation
self-ostracization issues
win/lose closeted
fear-based shame defenses
against Old School GoldenRule
loss of co-invested love
offenses

Against spirited natural
nondualistic redemptions
restorations
of win/win historical
Sun nurturing light
and Earth nutritioning power
regenerating
EarthTribe
indigenously sacred regenerations.
