Riots From Rhymes

There are only so many pages and so many stages
Of life I can riddle and write on through
Until the paper's a waste, and the words are bad taste
And I can't tell fiction from true
Until the pen is bleeding and loves are leaving
And my cursive has gone too far
Eventually the trees start screaming that I'm not worth redeeming
And I don't know who you are
The notebook is finding it detests it's binding
And the lines are just scribbles and scars
The pencils revolted, and the erasers remolded
And the calligraphy has taken up arms
There are only so many minutes and moment, of clarity and atonement
That the typewriter is willing to hold
A quill and a quiver, and how do they differ
When the reading light has become so cold
There are riots from rhymes in tempestuous times
And I am growing so weary now
When I sit down to write, of love and of spite
And whatever my pen will allow
There are only so many nights and so many slights
I can sit and stand to record
With words as my weapon, to make the pain lessen
It's time to trade in for the sword

A HARDEN HEART NOW SET APART SOFTENED-

All I had was a heart of stone;
My Father came along and molded it
Made it soft, softer than clay
Remade me whole, a better way

All I had was a cold, cold heart
Jesus came along and warmed it up
Now I am a part of His fresh warm breath
He placed me upon His chest

A harden heart now set apart softened

Once I had a stony heart
Made of stone and so ice cold
Elohim remade me new
Abba Father renew

Now with a heart of spirit
My heart eyes have been reviewed
Now I see things brand new

A harden heart now set apart softened

Remade me whole, a better way
He placed me upon His chest
Now I am a part of His fresh warm breath
My Father came along and remolded it,
 Made it soft, my heart softer than clay

A harden heart now set apart softened

Premium MemberRaindrops

Raindrops falling on cobblestone streets
Reflecting in glints of gold like tweets,
Reminding me the world I walk
Returns to dusty chalk~
Remolded by the Master's hand,
Replete with peace throughout the land;
Respite for the weary, the lion and the Lamb.

I have looked beneath my heart;
And deep down soul within;
I am now soften-up new start;
Renewed, rebirth, remolded new again;

The siamese twin

Every day seems to stop and start
With shapes and colors and God-given art
Yet I only exist within the warmth of your gaze
But for a moment to then disappear in the haze.

So I go amidst the multitudes and the commotion
I go there and witness the grand seduction
I'm but a remnant who's been ripped open
Undone, broken, remolded and woken.

Behold my muse of milk and honey
And her siamese twin who struggles within
Behold the patrons that show and tell
And all you artists that live under her spell.

O tiger tiger I now feel somewhat ill at ease
I'm stricken by some kind of strange disease
I ponder the chain that shackles my brain
And the mighty spears that brings her to tears.

Behold my muse of milk and honey
and her twin who lives for silk and money
It's gloom and doom and flowers for tomorrow
Lilies for her bedroom and roses for her sorrow.

Premium MemberI AM- WAITING ON MINE CHANGE--

I am waiting on my change,
Yet, while in my change
God is making me, molding me over and Ov’er again
I am
That I am His son

I am waiting in my change
Being remade on end from the top of my head
To the soles of my feet
My heart is being soften
In Him I’m ever sweet and complete

I am that I am remolded
Kiss by my Daddy
And embraced enveloped in love
And rain on in with frankincense and myrrh
I am
Heavenly
Kiss by my Daddy

 Molded and fashion in the newness
Image of Him
Over and over remade over O’ver again
Made new and whole in the blood of the lamb
Heavenly
Kiss by my Daddy

Such a lovely moment
Now, I’m resting in a stillness
May we experience a blessed beautiful thing
In this new day in Him (always)
We just need more of Him
Thank you Daddy God for another day
We thank you Abba Father God for this new day Always

Premium MemberSeasonal

"beyond the silence of summer's end"
what hangs in the air?
autumn's momentum
color of unabashed vigor
clouds lowering, unadorned
days snapped off by change

till cold stalks
like a hunched ghoul in a B movie
our arms hugging inside woolen sweaters
a richness of connection

October is captive of candy wishes
for children in chilly clumps of costume marching
freckled innocece before the bite of urgency

August's season
a temporary stint
limits of ownership
gone to spikes of melancholy
oh that time unburdened
like Chaplin twirling in a silent film
        stealing spins of joy

when summer exits
its tracks in the brittle bashing of shorter days
graffiti marks of broken edges
seasonal lapping
in what's pruned away
                              but given back
                              in memory

Renewed
How can a hard heart beat;
Yet the heart flows attended sweet;
The soften the heart and retreat the spirit flow;
The soul cries talks to the spirit woes;
The spirit and eyes at the flesh so rise;
Hardness of the heart,
Of the broken but in part;
I'm chosen I am redeemed;
Renewed
 I am responsive to change
The course of my way actions are anointed;
 I am appointed;
To forgive myself;
 I am redeemed of myself;
I am forsakening I am not insane;
I am reborn rebirth again;
I Am remolded The Clay and I am softened again;
Renewed

Premium MemberLoving Heart So Fond-

Loving the heart so fond
of love beats on
the travels of those the distance
yet in a trance eyes captures ahs!
reaching inside ones self
even loving ones self
I stand in awe
as I reach up and onto
the tower of my faith
so desolate encapsulating
anticipating I adhere to this present sphere
hating still my sinful self
I ask God to yet keep my breath
for I am yet a broken vessel
a clay pot needing to be remolded
emplace in me Lord God a new soft beating fleshy heart
a loving heart so fond fill with love and repentance and beats on
forever, and ever and ever more

Coping With Cancel Culture

Instruction which refuses to clearly break through
bigotry has no place in a person’s world view.
Mock training which teaches selective tolerance
eclipses the sure light that honest study grants.
Copious clouds of questions are left unanswered;
bewildering our brains so beliefs become blurred.
To own one’s education needs safe oversight;
hardened clay can not be remolded overnight.
One’s free exercise of spirit, mind and body
must allow other folks the same autonomy.

February 18, 2021

inspired by Helen Keller quote:
"The highest result of education is tolerance."

Premium MemberGod's Kiss of Life-

marvel i at your breath
your heartbeat passing onto my chest
the windows of your eyes so reveal your soul
glistening glows
breathtaking and through your nose
passes the breath of God
and your lips kissing your life you hold glowing
evermore daring so passionate
Breathing breathe out
That's why as God cleanses your heart
He performs CPR and now you're more alive
God is softened your heart and he has remolded your clay
No more abundance more humble
Regenerated rejuvenated rebirth renewed
Alas, left is I thank God for your breath

Our Plea

Be the crime that should be abets
And I will be the accomplice
Be the case that should be tried
And I will be the jury to defend it
Our love shall be the judge of the trial
Love on this jurisdiction we vowed
We defend it today against hatred

Let me know you like legal maxims
Aphorism not found by many
The words that shows prowess
Like the black law dictionary
To be able to converse well
Before my lord at the Honorable
Gathering of the luminaries

Let's build foundries and havens
To melt down all the trouble and hide
In like metal form stood on the road
Our love that had stand out many trials
Liquid metals remolded into golds
Standing out till time indefinite
Let me be your case darling
