I look at the ancient dilapidated stairs
Should I renew, reconstruct, rejuvenate or repair?
Revamp it as an original or make it posh, slick and chic?
Preplanning the right refurbish is an important trick.

Love me where I am most ruined,
refurbish all of the cracked paint;
Turn my scraps into abstract art,
your design leaves me whole again;
Refurbish all of the cracked paint;
Within broken eyes see a vision,
scattered but still a masterpiece;
Turn my scraps into abstract art;
Resourceful little architect
use every detail like a block;
Your design leaves me whole again;
My past a piece of our future
etched in the lines of your blueprints.

Cautiously I await the fallen one
crazily in denial I run
cowardly I hide my quilted shame
clearly I’ve being ravaged again, again
cleverly, creatively, clumsily I call
Call out to the Father My God who knows ALL
the calm come carelessly not His grace
Appears shun shining on my face
coming casually comes so kindly
the caring closes comes cautiously, the cold combinations come
the clean commands come cowardly
the calm communities come clearly
Ill regardless My Father heals my pains
And I stand refurbish, renewed and redeemed
Cleverly, creatively, clumsily I call
Call out to the Father My God who knows ALL

For the presence of
Self-fulfilling wisdom
And the sake of all that
Which is Holy…
The Dear Lord break’s bread
With His disciples’
Some the Holy of the
Most Holy
Some the Highest of the Most High
To refurbish the Covenant Once again...
Then to dispense
His conciliatory Wine as a Tribute
To re-affirm the faith
Of all Man

Burned out?
Tired out?
Turned out?
Fire out?
Time for a quiet time
In a quiet place,
For relaxation
And meditation.
Refresh
Renew
Refurbish
Your soul.

We have to Rethink
what our choices are
so we can choose
life that doesn’t stink
We have to Refuse
our single use mentality
with all our ability
making sure we defuse
We have to Reduce
all of our consumption
to stop our destruction
with absolutely no excuse
We have to Refurbish
everything that we make
or nature will bellyache
grumbling with human rubbish
We have to Repair
before replacing with new
so the garbage spew
is not in despair
We have to Repurpose
for all our productivity
to not feel guilty
in our climate crisis
We have to Recycle
for our last action
with a strong interaction
for all life’s survival

Matt, I really hate what they’re reporting about you,
And the current investigation finds it is entirely not true,
That you may refurbish your professional career
The impact of the charges alone could ruin you, I fear.
Gracious, you and I are of totally different persuasion
And we agree on almost nothing on the average occasion,
Except that I hate to see any young man’s life muddied
The way sex-trafficking charges can leave one so sullied.
Zingers keep coming; we hope for clearer information.

Today as any day,
No more, No less.
Programmed obliqueness.
Awakening,
Shower to clean,
Breakfast to UN-fast.
PC and Poetry, for the mind,
Wal-Mart to refurbish,
Then we dine.
PBS,
PC and Poetry,
Card game and munch.
Supper,
TV,
Then, bedtime.
Today as any day,
No more, No less,
Scheduled obliqueness.
Silently, more or less.

misinterpreted colors
refurbish occurred development
it only takes a second
(sh*it is usually measured in irrelevant moments)
it's always a second
standing in front of a choice
engulf the crap or
stream it straight at that mirror
aiming my sapience with furnished bugs eyes
by ease they are pouring deluded circular reasoning
making the bathtub
where I can peacefully drown in
stating how you're entitled to life
the child has overtaken
a role of my backpack
(so I can drown easily)
your child
sitting on my shoulders
while that entitlement to life
is covering my lungs
and mucous curtains
are obscuring coughed words
but I can scrutinize how your brain
is not at the right place
like there’s too much space
and it is out of the ledge
bumping at the surfaces of your skull
still
can’t pacify your behavior
with tissue suppression
too many times
I have rolled over
like a dog
this time
I’ll just sit in a silence
and leave you
by the road

Heal
The story starts
And I am sitting near the reef.
Quaint, nominal
With no grief.
There you came,
Silent, like a thief.
Flabbergasted when you said
That you’ll heal.
Marking your words
I felt relief.
Absorbing your empathy
I felt lithe
Lifted me up
When I had a broken heel
Refurbish my conscience,
But, it was a short term deal.
Filled with hostility was
Your Nadir, your zenith
Construe like a contusion
Is my skin, I feel.
You didn’t cure
You didn’t heal
You hindered the wounds
Hidden in my soul beneath
The story ends
When you leave
I became furtive and
You, the secret I conceal.
(Or everything I just revealed)

refurbish the subconscious
mind's eye's view of the
internal realm that lays
within us all
brighten the positive light
that is trying to illuminate
from behind the clouds of
doubt
in order to be able to
see the true state of reality
with a new and fresh perspective

To everyone who found himself,
Found himself by looking for the good in others.
The more you try to add value to others,
The more you add value to yourself.
The more I try to plant my SWAP in you,
The more my hectares of farm of SWAP enlarges
And the more I see more about myself
I never saw when I never started.
Saul enrolled for the Gulder Ultimate Search
To search for the lost donkey of his father
And then he found himself
As the first King of Israel.
David laid down his life to be the Fulani boy
Of his family, even though clearly neglected.
Yet, at his duty post he fell in love with God,
He wrote love-letters to God,
Expressing his psalms feelings to God
And also expressed his might
With lions and bears as specimens.
Also, Goliath as his great spring to greatness.
Whatever you can do to refurbish humanity,
Do it with all delight and someday
Your light will so shine before men
That they may see your good works
And glorify your Father which art in Heaven.

Ruminating over a golden era gone by and over possessiveness filled me with nostalgia
Ultimate luxury of vying for a car as well as owning a chauffeur driven one was
Sadly for the migrated rulers who ruled over another dynasty across oceans
The massive Ford drove into grandpa's driveway in the early forties
Exactly thirty years later it stood dark, forlorn, inviting rust under the banyan tree
Devoid of its master whose ashes were bestrewn within the old British Raj bungalow
Benign weather peeled off layers of its glossy makeup despite its bare upkeep; our
Undulating frustration as it drank too many gallons; moleskin upholstery on bucketed
Seats laid bare its withered ribs, spouting foul smell in rain and sun; the rolling
Tyres busted for the wheels didn't spin down the familiar roads along the hill; our
Eyes got sore at its lost lustre while we heaved deep sighs at its opulent maintenance
Divine providence intervened to refurbish the vintage for glorious view in the Museum

The setting? Bean Town, known for allegory,
has city gardens guarded close by lawmen.
Make Way for Ducklings, long a famous story.
Adjacent playground near the well-known common
includes eight precious ducklings, bronzed with burnish
inviting kids to bring a weary mom in.
As Mommy-sized folk sit, these icons furnish
young fledglings brief recess from worn caregivers.
Moms will then offer swan rides to refurbish.
Such swans are boats that cruise along the rivers,
diversion's fun that Boston mass delivers.

How my heart longs for spring
with its warm light breezes.
To see the wonders of young buds
slowly unfurling bringing colour.
The promise of new birth all around,
baa of new born lambs as they skip
through the green lush pastures.
Chasing after each other gleefully.
The happy songs of birds gathering
up wool and twigs to refurbish nests
Some already sitting patiently on eggs
their mate bringing fat worms and goodies.
The longer lighter nights hold promise
of the hot summer that is soon to come.
Spring flowers adorn woods, fields and hedges
and gentle splash of pastel colour fills gardens.
Until Spring gently takes over from Winter
I will dream on wrapped up in woolly fleece.
