dreams
conjures
fantasy ~
A gilded cage
or Icarus' wings?
the amethyst sky sings
serenading us, who sleeps
ephemeral though we may be
through this effervescent escapade
we who dream drifts along eternity

Eternity abides in those who dream
unwinding hopes too often congealed
painting the night with faith yet found
who can see illusions speak?
This unfeeling façade
beguiling the eyes
wipes our essence
redressing
them with
haze

Premium Member October Is Here

October stirs up colors- its new blend
designing duller scenery to glow.
The cooler temps invite us to befriend-
in full excitement for its destined show.

Progressing soon, redressing of our greens-
which summertime no longer will prolong,
October's brush will conjure lovely scenes
to mend the loss of summer's soothing song.

The fruit groves, filled with cyclic ripened gifts,
now beckon us to pick them to consume.
The odor of sweet, luscious pies, uplifts;
reforms the missing scents of summer's bloom.

When this October ends, we'll miss its joy-
for then we must resolve November's ploy.

Premium Member Spreading Happiness

Spreading happiness is the need of the hour;
Practising it requires so much of willpower.
Redressing others’ problems is always fine;
Empowering the weak at all times is a good sign.
Accepting people as they are should be your design;
Developing empathy for the poor is very divine.
Igniting an iota of inspiration is what people need;
Nurturing of these qualities makes one great in deed;
Guaranteed is the infinite joy, like this if you proceed.

Help the sick giving no scope to any inhibition;
Accept all, not troubling them with any admonition.
Pass on your knowledge to the untaught;
Pray for their welfare without any ill thought.
Impart values to the people for their better living;
Note that nothing is as great as forgiving.
Express your gratitude to the people who help you;
Surprise them with a compliment the way you knew;
Smile more, the whole world smiles with you.

As autumns of dear life, I endeavor to face,
Reminiscing in springs, memories I retrace;
Cognizant that splendor of seasons will end,
Seeking amends, life’s goodwill I befriend;

Resolving to shed grimness trapped in yore,
Discarding grievances, hatefulness I abhor,
Filling voids with wisdom of enlightened soul,
Welcoming endearment aging vibes cajole.

Harmony I shall hoist, to apex of its tempo,
Strumming mirthfully rhythms of tomorrow,
Freed from obscurity of yesterday’s shadow
Rejoicing with family on life’s sunlit meadow.

Hosting sentiments that elucidate life anew,
Ethereal I wish to woo~ revered, and true,
Pleading for bliss of heaven, eternal as time,
Living and letting live, in tranquility sublime.

Disavowing shackles of material, mundane,
Compassion I’ll chase of benevolent domain
Redressing incongruence, vying virtues divine,
Steering autumns of my life till values align.

Whatever ensues, we'll bequeath to God.
God unfolds, and he sustains us thus faster.
The work we adopt should be uniquely cowed.
God has endowed us all alone on this matter.

To cheer, I should foster a dignified bearing.
As yet, each of the muses affords their amenity.
Since wagging devotedness in any dealing.
The verse is feeble and prosaic as a lousy authority.

Yet long my dome it bobbed back, I can't sight.
Somebody is flopping tight for a truthful replay.
With trust redressing the case upon the plight.
Decay is undeniably greater crucial than headway.

There, I'll yield my spirit a co-conspirator.
My zealous heart has generated the blaze.
After that, the sonnet will be worn forever.
Time never alters the line rooted in God's praise.

Holy Spirit

Elusive being sought by far and wide
Seen by many unresponsive to our call
As veiled, elusive vacillating bride
Apparently intending to forestall

Don’t look for Holy Spirit up above
Nor in the dark of night in call of prayer
That being portrayed as a Snow White dove
 Comes not with feather born on breath of air

Could it be our signal error in this quest
Is our focus on external source of blessing
Wishing ever hopeful answers to request
For unwanted situation - a redressing

While The Holy Spirit hidden by our sin
So close to be unseen is deep within

Premium Member Hello October

Hello October

October stirs her paints for autumn's blend
     to soon create new landscapes on display.
Her cool, crisp air we share and now befriend;
     become aware that autumn's here to stay.

Progressing soon, redressing of our trees
     that summer-green no longer can sustain.
The beauty of October's painted leaves
     will help to heal the loss-of-summer pain.

The orchards, filled with autumn's ripened gifts
     now beckon us to pick them and consume.
Aroma, from sweet luscious pies, uplifts;
     replaces missing scents of summer's bloom.

When our October ends, we'll realize
      November will move in her winter skies.

Peoples Lives

Some people preach that 'Truth - in Might'
By living their lives in strict adherence to that idea;
But I would say – that needs redressing
And be widely propagated that ‘Might in Truth’ -
Ways more appropriate expression.

The Good Wife

THE   GOOD    WIFE

So many bare, ring-hollow spaces  sent chill feels;
These gaping holes in fabric torn are sewn new, sealed.
Some, any, bearing hollows, pace essential fields:
This dusty desert cold is sown now and will yield.

Knowing  nothing so long,
Her fertile smile, her redressing stitch,
Saves my everything  in time.

Perl Strand

Uninvited sin a sip of sand.
Wish to be a perl in a strand.
Washed in many streams becoming a jewel.

Cought in known rules escape its steady selection.
Offered dreams as choice of decision simply ignored.
Passed its passage applouse circumstances wasted.

Washed in many streams to be born as adoring jewel.
Cought in known rules despare to escape becoming crown.
Passed its passage circumstances disposed itself.

Cought in steps redressing the liberty of crown.
Judged its claim to waive the beauty dissepair in future .
Cursed in each play still happy to make a perl strand.
