Twisting the Words I Say

Why do you always
Twist the words I say
When I mean black
I don’t mean pink
When I mean great
I don’t mean lousy
It’s exasperating
The effort it takes to
Redress your interpretation
Of my every single word
Are you testing my patience
Trying to get under my skin
It’s just a game to you
Robbing me of my energy
And messing up my head
You suck the life right out of me
A daytime vampire drama queen
I give up I’ll keep my distance
I just can’t deal with you

Line, What a twist you made in this verse. Calling to the charlatan will never improve odds, in such a lasting curse. -Richard
