Easy Street

Ever-optimistic
for fun and games
one may dream
of peaches and cream
and tho' the primrose path
may razz our berries
life ain't always a bed of roses
or just a bowl of cherries
for the latter comes with stones
as has the former prickles
we must pick and choose
which way our fancy tickles

Gold Grows Grateful Grace

Mum thought part of her has ran far away,
But it flee to take refuge in my soul.
It appears to be gone- what single weigh,
Yet succumb its weight to make razz tease whole.

Mum, I find joy in your loyal duties;
Pleasure in her sacrifices cum care-
She did walk my legs at ease in booties,
How I hope to pay back in folds so fair.

Happy big five anniversary dates birth,
Journeying mum from noise to stress with cheers...
As much as my troubling joy brings her mirth,
She doesn't want me stop that; running years...

I duly appreciate your value dad;
For these five years, your blood runs... how so glad!

Premium Member do something fun every day

I think I am nineteen some days, twelve others.
Seventy is no biggie, but if I had my druthers…
I would not have arthritis in both of my knees.
I tell my daughters to grab everything that they sees.
With gusto and enthusiasm for they may fall apart.
They think I am kidding, but being seventy is an art.
Keep your positivity and do something fun every day.
Who knows how long you have to be merry and gay.
The trick is to live ever moment with pizzazz.
dance in the chorus line of life with razz-a-ma-tazz.

Premium Member jazzy frog sings the blues

Jazzy Frog sang the blues better than other ones in the bog
I wish I had that kind of voice said a bellowing bull frog.
All you need is love for a beat, and an ear for razz-a-ma-taz
Said the musical frog, whose friends all called him Mr. Jazz

Premium Member Jazz Tiptoes Through the Tulips

few people could tiptoe through the tulips with this kind of pizazz
we watched her doing it, and laughed at our cousin Jazz
She has some kind of magic, a kind of razz-a-ma-tazz
This was said by our Uncle the amazing Mr. Morazz

Jazz has a way that includes everyone, the thick and the thin.
she delights me, my giant smile goes almost down to my chin
Her hair is flying into the air, the garden seems to wear a grin
She makes looking terrific easy, says our mutual cousin, Little Finn

we watch her tiptoe through the garden, and the flowers glow.
She is lithe and lively, pretty at all times, red roses sway to and fro
Jazz makes the garden come alive, says our favorite Uncle Joe.
How she brings about such joy, we may never fully know.

Premium Member Microshot

When looking for a quack with spiked rates
Some try the Windowed Office of Bill Gates
Coz right on the spot
He’ll give you a shot
But be prepared to accept his dictates

His business, Microshot, you may know
Needled itself ahead of every foe
With billions of bucks
To create deluxe
Vaccine versions 2, 3, and 4.0

Yet there are many who’ve come to razz him
And treat him with deserved sarcasm
Like those who’ve found
Themselves wheelchair bound
Though Gates claims it’s just a back spasm

Now Gates wants to vaccinate the planet
With help in tow this is how they’ll plan it
By changing genes
With secret means
Which to me sounds more or less satanic

Yet there are those who want to be first in line
To get their shot with a chaser of wine
Well here’s to their health
Or rather Gates’s wealth
Which must be baked in his evil design

But when at Bill’s door you hear the death knell
That is your vaccination alarm bell
For more than malware
Coz once in his lair
You’ll know why they call his shop ‘Gates of Hell’

Premium Member The Ultimate Faerie

She is the ultimate faerie, full of splash dazzle, razzle, spritz and pizazz.
I bet she was sent here by the old one, the god of the razz-a-ma-tazz.
What proof do you have that she is a spy? I asked the one who spoke.
Just thinking it because she is so sparkly and beautiful, said the young bloke.

We agreed on one thing. She was gorgeous in every kind of faerie-like way.
Being around her felt magnificent, she was the uplifter of this happy Tuesday.
The ultimate faerie had spiky hair of pink, blue, glittery silver all pretty.
We later discovered that her sense of humor made her incredibly witty.

Razz Putin

God blitzed Sodom & Gomorrah
Including fauna & flora
Putin says, "Me, too!
I am just like you
Blasting that Box of Pandora!"

and family, Russian troops
tell survivors that they have
been liberated from the Nazis!

Premium Member Patient, Better Driver

From diluvial binary code extracted
from white walls lined
the untouchable monastery, the fraction leaked, drifted like
a molted feather

one part
               the great machine
one part
               flying machine
one part
               dove
one part

down to a soil so rich
with language
even heavy reeds challenged words of illiterate change,

an incomplete. But
for how many buttons extracted canary-round’s thread?
Only a father
best known for knowing best in his
walk-away-way delivery could know.

Then there was sky. Clouds rained.

In mud seed took root.

¾ of a weed
grew to knee-high on a grasshopper whispering razz
to filtered soon, and looked:

to the east
                 there was dark.
to the west
                   there was late.

Now here is something.

And so it thinks it better to wait for quarter moon.

It's Harassment, Baby oops
By: Tom Wright
8/19/00

These things offend,
know I, tis true.
in these, I've been schooled,
now I tell them to you.
An innocent touch, a wayward look,
a word or threat aimed another's way.
Is today, considered harassment,
and that party has final say.

Were not to needle, mock, or jab,
to razz, or quip, gibe or jeer.
To scorn, roast or ridicule,
and whatever you do, don't leer.
It's best that we not banter words,
deride, intimidate, or taunt.
Should you be one inclined to joke,
these too, you must not flaunt.

We must not rile another,
even though it be in jest.
Sneering, too, is not allowed,
so put those thought's to rest.
Another's traits never mock,
nor offend with apparel you doff.
Find not within reason to knock,
while daring not to scoff.

Belittling another isn't right
nor take occasion to tease.
But other than these few things
treat other's as you please.
In meeting, should I, not extend a hand,
and appear to have little to say.
It won't be because I am snobbish,
but fear a Tort Lawyer coming my way.

Magnet-Eyes-Ed

Well I lit the fire
But you let it burn
And I still aspire
While you never learn
           (no you never learn)

When I thirst for knowledge
You just slam the door
If I crave a challenge
You say channel four

Your life, is in a box
Give it room to grow
Why's ya mind so set in rock
Live and let it roam

 (Think on you own
  And be your self
   Don't come home
    As somebody else)

You're too focused on the bad
Could you trust me more?
Like a locust on the razz
The good is just absorbed

Well I really adore a test
That pits my brain and wits
You're easily bored and rest
Saying' this plays on your ****

Some might say, opposites attract
Now, I'm quite sure that it's a fact
From the moment I saw you
My unimagined surprise
I know that it's true....
...cos I am magnet-eyes-ed.

Good Riddance Makes Sense

Good Riddance Makes Sense

Trump thinks it is an art getting rid of things;
Hurting people and their tears up he brings;
What yo give out will receive in return
When being sarcastic and also stern.

Every problem and difficulty Trump has
Ends up from all of his razz-a-ma-taz
Definitely is compulsive and obsessive
Out of control and manic depressive.

To the things he does we take offense
Mechanisms exist described as defense
To all of this exists a profound trick;
Which one of these will you pick?

Jim Horn

A Cocktail of Kaleidoscope

(ALLITERATION)
Cows milked: mitigated mooing in the meadows then
Weaving on the warp, some workaholic women

Harvest of hapless halibuts on hooks
Bookish book-worms buried in books

A palomino and a pony patter on the paving
Hucksters and hawkers hawking every housing.

Ravers out on the razzle raising a raucous razz-ma-tazz
Beavers busy building beaver-dams but about it quite blasé.

Doves cooing in divine chorus
Frogs frisking out of focus
Horoscopes are hocus pocus.

Tidal waves of tsunami treacherously tread
Sea-anemones scattered upon the sea-bed.

Geraniums genuflecting in jungle-like gardens
Hunters wary of wandering wild-life wardens.

All this when I ventured about videotaping
Nature's much nicer even with no landscaping

These are direly different scenes from different parts of the globe
Perhaps like a space probe's kaleidoscopic poetic probe

( this poem has every letter of the alphabet except x)
