My word, what a dreadful sight,
A boxer lost a prestigious fight,
His nose was a flood,
With masses of blood,
He won't be boxing tonight!
Alluring aroma
Calls us over
Uplifting bean
Pulverised to make us keen
Olfactory sense starts to excite
Firing up with delight
Caffeine or caffeine free
Oh what a pleasure to taste and savour it be
Frothy cappuccino or americano
From which do you choose
Either one
Ecstay exudes
The rocket accident
They were so proud of the families of the crew
going into space, they stood on a podium
especially made for them and it was decorated
with American flags.
A lot of smoke and fire the rocket took off the applause
was premature suddenly the rocket was engulfed
by flames and it exploded.
It took a few minutes before the families understood
their loved ones had pulverised, gone forever.
It was a moment reminding me of “the bridge
over San Luis Ray” what happened in the life of the five
crew before this fateful moment.
Few remember this tragic moment, but it is worth
writing about we forget the losers so quickly, but I think
we can honour them by not forgetting
Public Convenience
A war ‘nowhere near me’ is a concept that does not exist
an oxymoron so to speak and weep and cry or believe
propaganda for the convenience of denying responsibility
Wars allegedly ‘afar’ is a notion too far removed from the
distortion that you and I do not benefit from the slaughter
as the wealth of some is built on the shoulders of many
who suffer for global greed oil exploitation geopolitical
domination for booming stock markets and neoliberal evil
Call me touchy feely or a pacifist to discredit my knowledge
but my paradigm is one of hard core sober fact that in my
name and without my direct consent rape pillage and plunder
deface the human condition and legalize collateral damage
What a euphemism to ask me to close my eyes in view of
pulverised people atomised ashes and call them not near
Rapacious avarice or conscientious objection to misleading
terms and diminutive are a choice very close to my heart
20th May 2017
Forced into grumbling stomach and head throb
It is dark cold emptiness all around
first laid off and then dissmissed from the job
It is a blight on all our light and sound
The wrinkled hours on my both cheek sunken
Driven out from two rented rooms, roaming
Hope hearth home health heaven hell all broken
For food morsels with dogs in the trash bin
Fallen crumbled plundered you all despise
One of our two children is now missing
Wreckage breakage drainage in our void eyes
Moans and groans around the serpent hissing
With our pulverised waves and hungry soul
We are struggling to get back into whole
Vultures on our head and the end hems in
Of your poem, O life, we’re still dreaming

Sense early stages
Background changes
Soon it bangs
Like sharks at cages
Neck so strained
Fight heavy brained
Lights too bright
Fog explained
Smells so sickly
Escalates quickly
Temples vice
Jaws like ice
Blindness takes
My own advice
Shut me down
I'd rather de-fence
Furrowed brow
Pain my one sense
Soon becomes insufferable
Far too long intolerable
Silent cries as pain so raw
Pillow hard like cellar floor
Feeling buried underground
Imagination peakes I found
Then weak, can't move feel paralysed
Weak muscle beaten pulverised
‘Migraine at my senses’ ~ by Victoria Payne
August 2016
I met this cool dude called Jaffa
At the beginning he was so sweet to me
Sadly after a while he gave me the pip
In the end he ran out of juice and I had to squash him
Then I pulverised his flesh to a pulp
Cheers!

THE UNCOVERED ....
Blunders draped in bundles
of clandestine regalia
Passing each aurora, simmers
obnoxious guilty flames
Seized are its weapons
Silenced is its voice
Water-tight , to the exterior,
Access denied....
Conscience asphyxiated
Stupor it lay , simmering flame
deep inside......
The glittery outside
Embezzlement fills treasures
Tactfully guzzles glorious peace
Marbles conceal the blood
Glitter tantalizing the inner peace
Constellation of cromulent folk!
Tantamount to a golden knife
Sagacious choices crushed,
pulverised under heels
Brushes of pseudo smiles paint
the phoney pictures!
Remorse has gone to retreat
Armageddon struck...
Raging guilt, rising conscience
War they wage as they dare a battle
Before they fall and fade
Muster all might, they burn
Cellars melt to molten
Huge uproar and war cry
Burning splinters!
Cinders remain .....,
as unmasked truth!

I was deserted by fun
Locked in a lonely world
Looked upon like a clown
My heart was then cold
Then out of emptiness, yet bountiful
You emerged so graceful.
With your sweet charms
You entered my world
With those paralysing smiles of yours
You pulverised my crumbling world
You laid foundation for another
The greatest in heavenly uniqueness' order
The world seems yours
You turn it around so easily
You must be one of those three sisters
'Cos you manipulate fate so easily
You've washed anew being
You must be an angelic being.
The way you swept away my sorrows
And made sweet my tomorrows
Left me wondering
Reminiscing
Thinking much about you
Loving you.
I feel so on top of the universe
Ever since you graced my world
You've livened my world's romance
And distant my heart from cold
Queen of my heart
I love you with all my heart.

they shout the truth in simple hues
in hopping waves of black and blue
they drop from clouds when heroes die
with blood etched throats they agonize
why must charms of hope leave the eye
for hearths lain cold-souls pulverised
warlocks pock the virgin's bone
plucking pearls from time-worn shoals
rose petal slung like david's stones
life tangoes hearts ... blue icy ropes
why why why the frog bird moans
why why why the frog bird moans
