To process what you have come to say.

About."  CJ  exuberantly replied,
"Oh The Trini trip. Yeah!
I was wondering what was

Challenges

Healing Projects

I had two big projects
from 1970 to 1975,
The first,
to earn a usually white Bachelor dual-major degree
(which sounds at least sexist
as a usually black, brown, red, yellow Mistress nondegree)
of deep learning about yin/yang,
right/left,
east/west interconnections
cultural communions
between persuasive Speech [and non-verbal] Communication
and attitude changing Psychology.

My second project,
like the first,
was about coming out of my investigating ***** closet;

I put on makeup so I can feel beautiful

Put up curtains so I can feel at home

Got a baby that's half a family

20 years old looking 15

In the middle of the ghetto and gentrificA-town

By the Projectz and the precinct 

I've got a closet full of donated clothes

 I ask God why this is the life

Project the Projects

Furthermore,
The pink houses, the red brick buildings,
the dingy gray towers,
tear them down
stone by stone,
brick by brick
Open up the sky
give them hope
give them peace
Take away the filth and negativity
and hate
and self hatred
Plant trees
Break up the cement
let flowers bloom
Give the children hope
Let the children sing
Give them a place to run free
Rejoice!
Take away the poison
Breathe life into the

Certain Projects and I

To stay the course of penned projects
Some long, some short, on sheets of white
Solitude, my thoughts and I abide
But this course we love, sometimes fade
I need jist of that potent thing
The very thing I miss, each time
My muse, my thoughts and me resist
Staying course with certain projects.

consider the raccoons how they squawk and squalor 
peck and fight for space to grow fat gray hairs
and live as a family in the wild consider them

consider the homeless man on East Euclid dragging
