                      I am...
      quintessential optimism;
         the rainbow you see
         after the rain is gone.
                        I am...
         order amid the chaos;
                 l reconstruct
     life's crumbled foundation.
                         I am...
             beauty in ugliness;
         don't avert your eyes!
                        I am...
        a celestial messenger,
         so prick up your ears.
                 I'm asking you
        to choose faith over fear;
things aren't as bad as they seem.
               I'm asking you
       to walk out on darkness,
               to me, the light.
                I'm asking you
           to believe in dreams;
          they are real and true.
                I'm asking you
              to look to the sky
              when you're lost;
           I am your North star.
             David Bowie sang
              a song about me;
             yes, you guessed it
                          I am...
                      Starman,
                    but, I'm also...
                     guess who?

Premium Member Hear Earth's Gentle Moaning

We go about our lives as if with no clue
that all around us things on earth are dying
as other “great’ activities we pursue.

Good habits should mean more than simply trying.
For many crimes, mankind should be atoning.
Humankind, BE kind, or you will be crying!

Prick up your ears, and hear Earth’s gentle moaning.
Hear it in the oceans filled with our debris.
Where she chokes from all our filth, Earth is groaning.

Hear the silent shrieks emitting from each tree.
With forests razed – oxygen is depleting.
Extinction of creatues already we see.

This senselessness we cannot keep repeating,
or a deserved tragic end we’ll be meeting.

Yours Me

Amidst the amazing aroma of the angelic sticks
Cheering along the chants of charismatic priests
Promising on the petals of pearly purity
You said, "I LOVE YOU"

During the dreadful dreams of dying waves
Glancing through the glass of dry gloomy grass
Lifting me up into the light of lively land
You said "I LOVE YOU"

Fondling my feathery feet with your fancy fingers
Twisting your tangy thumb into my twirled curls
Scrawling your signature on my splendid smile
You said "I LOVE YOU"

Searching for the sensibility behind the madness of your words
Enjoying the ecstasy of our bond enriched with folly fights
Roistering the roller coaster ride at the royal stage of your vivacity
I solemnly stoop before your solicitude to say,
I LIVE FOR YOU.

Prick up your ears my darling
Open wide your eyes my poppet
Unlock the hatch of your heart my swain

Look into my eyes,
Slide deep into my nerves,
Feel the warmth of my blood
You will realise that
I AM ALL YOURS.

Doberman Pinscher

Hey buddy, this pooch has got a bone to pick with you -
You’re in the doghouse and we need to talk this through.
So prick up your ears and hear me through to the end -
This language barrier needs some serious work, my friend!
You wonder why I sulk and have no time for tricks -
Well would you want to party if you’d had your manhood fixed?!
And then you tug my lead when I’m positioned by a tree-
Say, do I bring a stop watch every time you need a wee?
I bring your paper daily, wag my tail with affection
But do you thank me? No, you just rush to the sports section.
I don’t mean to hound you because I’m your biggest fan
But please don't take for granted your most faithful Doberman x

Neither Ear Will Turn Deaf

N-either ear will turn deaf
O-ctober third sunny day;
R-ighteousness is revealed,
A-fter you plead and pray.
L-et neither ear turn deaf,
E-ven if lies do deceive;
E-agerly listen to the voice of truth that man must receive.

G-ive full attention to God
A-s He teaches His word;
R-emember the mandate
S-o you shall please the Lord.
O-pen your either ear,
L-eft or right before the Father;
A-llow it not to turn deaf for His wisdom is a reminder.

S-ay yes to God's instruction,
A-s you prick up your ears;
N-either of them will turn deaf,
T-rying to accept what each hears.
I-t's now time to hearken,
L-etting both ears heed;
L-isten to the one who speaks
A-ll the words that you need.
N-ever say no to the lesson you learn as you have left;
A-ccept the best counsel, neither ear will turn deaf.

Perfect

It hurts so much to want someone who is just so utterly perfect.
Too perfect to even compare to ourselves.

The pain is throbbing in your head and your heart, and it's very difficult to tell one apart;
Because well, they both hurt.

And as the confusion sweeps over us,
we stay silent, and still.

Could you prick up your ears and hear the internal sobs of the unwanted, the unnoticed and the unloved.

I'M Selling Dreams

Ladies and gentlemen from the city!
I have a special proposal for you.
You mustn’t miss the opportunity -
Today I am selling dreams that come true!

Prick up your ears and line up here.
You really won’t pay dearly for them.
Nothing is at a high price – don’t fear!
You can afford them – It’s a real gem!

I can choose diverse dreams for each of you
And find something special for broken hearts,
For the disappointed – today it’s new –
This sort is limited in several parts!

Watch out! Don’t push your way and mind your turn!
I can’t manage to pull them off a shelf.
I am tired but happy – my cheeks burn...
Stop! I have to keep a dream for myself...
