Well, well, here we are in 2026
life is not at all plain sailing
not getting easier if not harder
I hear a ping; it must be a mailing
Would you believe it's futuristic
it's from self years on unknown
hard to believe it's to be that bad
warn to be strong, especially alone
Being a Christian believer brings challenges
it seems more hardship will come
especially being convinced of God's truth
be sure to hold on and not be glum
Jesus warns us in the scriptures
that persecution will be our lot
especially when living in holiness
remember, the enemy wants you caught
Hold on and be prepared to die
for Jesus promised never to leave you
He will come back before the end
to deliver you, for His word is true
(This is an imaginary thought if I were to receive a time-travel text.
It is based on receiving a text message from a version of myself five years in the future.)

Spread the Word our Jesus said
My Father's plans are all in place

Where can we go? It's not a race

Be prepared, this is not an act
