Hot Rally Soup Note: Must be prepared in July

Take one demigod from the melting pot
Give it a Mega-phone (the louder the better)
Mix in a heavy dose of Fox News, make it a bit overbearing
In a separate pot,
mix 70 million evangelicals
2 or 3 million fanatics -depending on your tolerance
Season with lies and fear
Add holy water, a couple of cases of Budweiser and demigod mixture
But first clip a piece of ear and discard
sit in the sun until it boils- stirring occasionally

Blow People's Minds

Spread the Word our Jesus said
My Father's plans are all in place
Change is coming played in my head
Where can we go? It's not a race
It's all so surreal, unbelievable in fact
It's gonna blow people's minds
Be prepared, this is not an act
Be prepared, there's not much time
Go to a safe place and say a prayer
Ask God to spare the land
If He says "No"!
You know where you can go..
The Lord won't reach out His hand

Premium MemberPrepared as Requested

It does not grow in the ground
in a bush, on a tree

   No animal's beheaded
     Or fish netted
   It's seldom shredded

   Makes a perfect meal
      prepared as requested

Symbol of life in the world
Yolk inside egg-white ~ mysteries swirl

Prepared Parable Horn Haiku

prepared parabola

Comments Turned Off
Horn Haiku

sorry that comments
by you will have been turned off
why I do not know

Now 8,960 poems and
shooting for 9,000.

Had to do this as an
edit correction.

advertising has
been big pain in you know where
turning on and off

cursor triggers things
commercial starts appearing
which is my dismay

my life will trudge on
day by day will grow older
until very end

God will be waiting
while saving a place for me
how lucky I am

Horn Haiku has been
a comfort waiting for me
so will carry on

Premium MemberHappiness

Happiness is left to be defined by your ownself
As you know yourself better than anyone else
As you're special and unique
Moreover one man's meat may be another man's poison
But don't ask for too much
So that you won't always be disappointed
As the world is to be shared by all
It needs effort and patience to attain happiness
If you're disappointed at this moment
At least someone else isn't disappointed
And so wait for your turn
It seems to be your own business
To work for any happiness
Except any blessings from God
It seems to be your own business
To value any happiness even it's small
As no one can help you to be happy
If you aren't ever ready and be prepared to be happy
Even how small is the happiness gifted to you

Can You Jump Her Twenty Traps When She Is Well Prepared

When the king meant to
Give Esther half of kingdom
Because of much love.

Some men can put blame
On the king for doing that,
Forgeting true love.

Women have powers
Which men failed to understand
From years to today.

 tactics and technics
Of many women are not
of this world, watch out.

Premium MemberWell Prepared

For dinner last night we had Uncle Freddy
He went just right with red wine and spaghetti
It was all done with good taste
Wasn't thought of in haste
And was prepared by his dear wife, Aunt Letty
                                           by Robert Gorelick

Perhaps Aunt Letty was too hasty
For Uncle Freddy was not tasty
For a good result
He needed more salt
And to have been rolled up in pastry
                                           by Belle Bellevue

Be Well Prepared

Some memories
you think you have forgotten
never forget you,
and rarely give you a sign,
but someday
they'll strongly
remind you
of themselves
to knock you
to the ground
in an unexpected time

Be Prepared

Wake up early,
be sure to wear clean underwear.
Get dressed.

Go sit down and breathe quietly,
be prepared
in that hour before dawn,
for it is then
that they will come for you.

Never write down your thoughts
or express an opinion,
whatever is said or mistakenly implied
can be twisted to seem
controversial or inflammatory.

Turn in your friends, neighbors,
wife, children, or parents
for they may testify against you first -
it's the loving thing to do.

Pack a small nondescript suitcase,
burn all documents and letters
carry no ID,
don't use a credit card,
be prepared to take a slow train
into anonymity.

Know this,
hope is futile -
they will find you anyway.

The Origin of Be Prepared

After Moses emptied his tush
God set fire to the only bush
A terrible plight
No paper in sight
All the leaves went up with a whoosh!

Finishing 8th Grade

Around this same exact time,
Exactly one year ago.
I wrote a really mediocre poem,
About 7th grade moving "slow".

But, boy, was I wrong.
8th grade is full of waiting.
I've been at my school for 11 years,
This month is just frustrating!

Luckily, there's some "fun" ahead,
Including our 8th grade trip.
Yea, it sounds kinda lame, but still,
It's one whole day we can skip.

Everyone's forgotten we have finals.
In only three various subjects!
I guess we can study for the next week,
Let's not forget all the projects!

I think all that I want to say,
Is that I'm super antsy to leave.
I got that scholarship for high school,
Let's go, Falcons! Whoo-hoo, DC!

Premium MemberPrepared To Make Mistakes

We all have our views on the subject. A military officer
on hearing I was pregnant asked me to consider having
an abortion. I know a young woman, the doctors told
her mom, that with her condition, she needed to be aborted.
She was not and is perfect with a beautiful family.

PREPARED TO MAKE MISTAKES

You saw baby bouncing on your knee
and the gifts the neighbors bring.
Blue and pink were twins,
the sparkle in your eyes
at graduation
and surprise they were there for you
at your end of days.
You smiled
as each smoothed your hair,
kissed you on the cheek.
You’d surely die
then think,
regretting dying before you drink
of their beauty,
as they wait in utero
dreaming of a mom
who’d care for them
   as she discusses their fate
with a stethoscope clad
impartial lad,
who has no stake,
who’s prepared
to make mistakes
blue and pink balloons
could pop
on a pin drop,
with no bounce,
no degree,
added to a pile of debris.
