Premium Member What's good for the goose, on becoming a mother

Today we celebrate Mother's Day, for those still with us and those gone away,
with hearts of gratitude we acknowledge and pray..
This current climate where state's see fit to oversee a woman's choices
and pass laws to restrict..
No one should take lightly the ending of a beating heart before an embryo is
viable and get's it's life start..
The pro-life movement has made this their cause but as of late our Supreme Court is revealing the flaws..
Passing state laws to end invitro fertilization which is pro-family.
What is their rationalization?
None of these unwanted pregnancies are "virgin" conceptions, so what
about the woman's partner, the male sperm injection?
If a woman's body can be litigated so, Viagra and Cialis is also need to go.
Our laws shouldn't set us back to the days of the Neander.
What's good for the goose is also good for the gander..

The 70's brought a wake-up call, embracing some needed change.
Some women with unwanted pregnancies were self-mutilating, so insane.
It seems we are now regressing like a patient who's demented.
Why would a women's right to choose now be legally circumvented?
Too many women lost their lives in a blood bath so obscene.
Botched coat hanger abortions and
other unsafe means.
Do you hear their voices?
Can you count their screams?
We have learned nothing, or so it seems.
Too many women's lives ended tragically.
Where are their death statistics?
Are we too blind to see?
God help a nation that forgets it's own history.

Early Pregnancies

TEEN PREGNANCY

In hospital and streets
Estates and villages
Huge boards
Printed and written

But worldwide it still happens
Every morning and every night
With none taking responsibility
Its like curses and evil ghosts hailing us

We hate young girls
We cast them as cheap and lust filled
They have done what they intended to
But they were forced...the other gender forced them

It has come to close eye under search
It has ruined the close relationship of gender
Yes you taught them in school and non governmental houses
But they had no choice for resistance

May be poverty fumed im all corners of their homeland
And the option came with consequences
They took risk for rescue
Don't cast them out of their fathers gates

Lets all stand and confess for hatred
Lets love them and give company
Support where necessary
For what happened and gave a result is an achievement!

“Students make delicious treats for seniors”

What a sacrifice those students are making
It warms the cockles of this old man's heart
Such a sweet and unselfish undertaking

“Teen pregnancies drop off after twenty-five”

Well, I certainly would hope that's the case
That's a dirty big family in any man's language
For the beds, you'd soon run out of space

“Veterinarians take over as panda mating fails”

Okay, now I've got this strange mental picture
It's definitely X-rated if you ask this old guy
I mean really, we should show some respect

“Stiff opposition expected to casket proposal”

It's kind of what you would probably expect
Given the condition of the deceased inside
I mean really, we should show some respect

“Head of African country seeks arms”

Wow! Just a head and a couple of arms
What a weird sight that would turn out to be
Most people would sure be alarmed

“Studies have shown that obesity rubs off”

Well, if that's the case, I'll be a-rubbing
Every day and night till my skin turns raw
Till I get back my happy old zing!

Of all unplanned pregnancies, more abort than give birth (47% abort vs. 40% give birth).
Everybody make mistakes
We are just humans

To prevent unwanted pregnancies-
we need to quiet our hips and thighs
and ignite our hands and mouths,
You figure it out.

Ode To Nelson Mandela

A broken reed
Bleeding through the love pipes of social apartheid,
Got fixed after waging twenty seven logs of wood in
the iron woods of bars on him

Through his mouth,
The dumb trumpeted
And echoed, beating gongs
into the forested minds of men
 in the distant woods

His retina sighted the blind
from obscurity of racisms
For a bullseye of the Morrow's pregnancies

So men sang a chorus
...Hail hail free Mandela

His skin wore shackles
His mind bore freedom
His speech spoke out chains
Unweaving the threads of apartheid

So men sang a chorus
...Hail hail free Mandela

Ode to Nelson Madiba Mandela's voice
of freedom

Call It What You Want, Its Still True

I want to live to become
The kind of person I needed when I was young.
Inspiring, affirming and solidifying solutions to the moral dilemmas
of the inflicted youth of this era.

Drugs,liquor and poverty, teenage pregnancies
HIV ,STDs, cimininal activity, inhospitality,inequality.
Obstacles to humanity
are the order of the day in society
Just check in on your family tree
It might have skipped a generation or 2 or even 3

What's Its Name

Dr. Good in hospital reminds us all
All pregnancies are final
Inconceivable at the core

Inconveniences must be dealt with
Just another disease in need of cure
A personal malignancy to freedom
An interference with fun for sure

That growth inside of you must be extracted
Womb removals come at a pretty penny my dear

Dr. Metal Hanger operates at night
Just around the corner in the dark
In the back alley with a long thin wire
That inconvenience will come right out

Don't worry about the other organs
There is no extra charge for you
So spread um baby and open wide
Say Ahh.... This kind doesn't cry

By the way....what's its name?
The young girl whimpers, “Tumor”

In This Civilized City of Africa

i must be king, the sole lord,
whether baboons and monkeys
draw a long stream of blood
whether allies of men-beasts
parade an endless blood-bath
there! a sacrifice of infants
of pregnancies of still-births
of gray-hairs that forcefully
must fall before my leopard’s claws –
i must be king, the sole lord,
the dry tears of the monkeys
would not move the tiger’s jaws
ever-ready in the belligerent
defense of my palm-coin
in this civilized city of africa.

Inside this tiny waiting room – of course -
I WAIT! That’s why it’s called a waiting room!
What kind of a physician would endorse
a space this small? It’s like I’m in a womb!
How fitting, since the doctor I will see
will have me lie back with my legs spread wide
so he can check that private part of me
no longer private since I’ve been a bride!

No magazines to read. What should I do?
Pretend I’m IN a womb and suck my thumb?
What if I'm pregnant? I can only stew
the longer that I sit here growing glum.

Stuck with a kid? Has it now come to this?
Just one month wed! What of marital bliss?

Sept. 24, 2017 for the Stuck Poetry Contest of Sara Kendrick
(Because of this topic, please realize, folks, this is just fiction! I was never displeased with my pregnancies. Also, I couldn't get pregnant now if I wanted to!! and I DO hate being stuck in tiny rooms with nothing to do!)

Premium Member - March -

Kong winter resolve his power struggle to live a little longer
Cold soil protects wild modest tiny flowers
March deserve tribute by an dignified pen
A soothing voice whisper in dew wet morning sun
When Spring youthful glory revitalises

With blessed glow in brilliant charm
A soft mother breast for all to be born again
Nature pregnancies seeds of life
Spring unveiled with a colorful smile
We go brighter times ahead, wakes up from beauty sleep
Princess Spring I feel lucky and almighty

Contemporary Ode To A Mother Crying Out
         To Her Children…2015

Sprawled out on life’s stage,
her world turns and runs
river red with the blood of her children:
flowing like a wandering stream.

Bloated ballooned bellies
mock aborted pregnancies;
once luscious breasts
sag in parallel union
with sinking faces
of lost hope.

Lost hope—whirling
like solitary ghost smoke
of abandoned fires:
abandoned fires
dying in waning time.

Hollowed red eyes
of fleeing lovers look rearward:
the wholeness of nothingness simmering;
as smiling death sits—
waiting and anticipating the wonted feast.

         Heartbeat of hope struggles—
         murmuring in the valleys and shadows;
         searching the gods’ penurious mercy.

In the midst of the Dante, hazed hell,
a wretched mother clings
to time and history—once again.

Rooted in her audacious faith,
she cries out to her wandering brood in Diaspora:
those liberating souls spewed from her precious womb.
Scattered liberating souls—umbilical bound;
destined to restore her great grand glory:

With sage seasoned good courage,
sagaciously she squats—
awaiting the victory.

Pc Prayer To God

PC Prayer To God

I thank you God every day for creating me
Dear God Keep me safe from Satan's snares
And from pregnancies and abortions
And curlers of course and periods too
I ask the Virgin Mother of Jesus
To pray for me as well
For not having a name like Mary
Or anything girly like that
And to keep me well
And politically correct too
Most importantly though
Thank you God for not making me a woman
Not that there's anything wrong with that
                    Amen

Your humble servant…. Jack
