Born in the same home: Earth.
Raised with different beliefs,
women of opposing polarities,
each equally necessary.
You hold strong beliefs,
I’m more open to different ones.
You don’t need to question things too much,
I question everything.
Both feel equally trapped
by our outward appearances.
One wears Prada,
the other, a simple black tunic.
These garments -
just a form of protection.
Do we really need to carry
these shields?
I want to imagine the day when
we can dance naked in sisterhood,
keeping a harmonious equilibrium,
discovering that, deep down,
we are the same.

Givers of life,
Creating a better world.
An object having contrastive property
is defined to hold polarity .
Opposite poles of magnet are well-known :
Obviously shown :
No ambiguity.
Earth itself is a large magnet
having two poles to generate.
North pole in Northern hemisphere.
South pole in Southern hemisphere :
Facts of Earth's identity.
Electric charges are active
running either positive ,
or also as Negative
proving validity.
in field of Electricity.
Also in human relation,
I assure to mention :
exists possibility
of dual personality
in same guy's mentality.
A proverb : Familiar,
even sounds peculiar !
' Runs attraction ! mutual
between man-woman , natural
as opposite poles to act
react or interact !
,
oh, boy...
they're back at it, again.
they never learn.
two clamps
on a worn-out jumper cable;
true to form,
crossing leads
to resurrect
a flatlined relationship.
as expected,
they've hooked up the circuit
backward...
all of humanity knows
how the story will go.
of course,
the flatline
never zigzags.
so good are these two
at chasing
the most distant of dreams
and always
finding their way back
on the road
to nowhereville.
m a g n e t s
never meant to click;
toxic twosome
never meant to be together,
forcing a spark
that will never ignite.
all their efforts,
a complete waste of time;
somebody tell 'em...
a reverse polarity
will always
remain so.
Curtailed sonnet, for contest by Rob Carmack
The dog didn't like the kitten, but wasn't unkind
No way was she going to accept or meet
Him in the middle, her love was not blind
But my love for you was never just fleet
You were more fire, swift to ignite and burn
My love, that temper would flare up overhead
But I was down to earth quiet like fern
Enjoying sunrise, sunsets, get my book read
"Don't avoid extremes, and don't choose any one extreme. Remain available to both the polarities - that is the art, the secret of balancing." ~ Rajneesh
grapPle or avoid
violation or Obedience
hate or Love
peace or wAr
biRth or death
definite or Imprecise
resistanT or resigned
rivalrY or harmony.
In the womb of space-time, throbs pulse dual,
polarities dance in organic form,
dissolving in heart, if love’s the fuel,
which creates within, a benign bliss storm.
The one becomes two and then one again,
union in heart, separation in head,
thus when pristine presence be free from stain,
we are in the vast void by God’s hand led.
At the beach we watch waves lap up the shore,
each wave distinct, dancing with emotion,
yet in truth is it not a single roar,
each drop no different from the ocean?
Remove the prism to know light is pure white ~
Where is ego when two lovers unite
The left brain notes the minute details.
The right brain knows what can't be spoken.
There are two brains that think within my head:
One measures time and numbers make it spin.
The other sees the spaces in between
painting with darkness what the light cannot.
The left brain worries over grammar and form;
the right brain cares for poetry and song.
Opposing forces balanced on a thread,
A divided polarity and yet made complete.
They push and pull at the same thing together,
Forever different, trying to be one.
A comet weeps a crown of velvet frost,
While iron mountains bow to touch the sea;
What one forgets, the other finds as lost,
A solitary echo, wild and free.
The dark is but a curtain made of gold,
That we must draw to let the midnight spill;
The young will wander, while the path is old,
And noise becomes the architect of still.
We drink the lightning from an empty sky,
And breathe the perfume of a shattered stone.
To reach the ground, we must begin to fly,
To find the crowd, we walk within the bone.
For every shadow kneeling in the light,
There is a sunbeam hiding in the gray.
The winter dreams of blossoms in the night,
And dawn is just a prisoner of day.
Polarity showed up tonight in the small white pill resting in my palm—assurance and biological impedance within the same small shape. My endocrinologist believes taking it will rebuild my bone's density, coaxing my body to better use protein, collagen, and various minerals in places where time and age have thinned my bone's structure. But the pill brings its own polarity: it promises stronger bones even as a wave of morning-sickness nausea steals my comfort. Still, I take it, gratitude and resentment settling side by side in my heart. I’ve come to realize that sometimes polarity isn’t abstract. It’s real as real can be with me coping with two opposing truths coexisting.
white stone of healing~
a tide pulls both ways inside,
moor and undertow
In the hush between the charge and drift,
The world holds breath, suspended in a gift.
North and south exchange a fleeting glance,
Shadows and light halt their ancient dance.
Current pauses, silence on the wire,
Magnetism dreams of what might transpire.
Tension dissolves, the duality wanes,
Yin and yang rest from their endless chains.
In this moment, borders gently blur,
Opposites softened, no rush to recur.
The pulse of change, a silent refrain—
Polarity paused, peace here remains.
Raucous battles between them and us;
Finality reins but life is never the same.

When man suffers;
'Fancy' is the call,
Lacks eternity though---
Restricts the fall.
Dark decorum of life
Takes down fancy's rhyme,
Oh, it's not a "deceiving elf"
Hopefully, all the time.
Blend of colour and truth
With cultivated dreams
What more can we call---
Surely a fancy it is!
Love, live and make belief
It's all to have here;
Fancy helps with the rest ---
We rewrite and share!
Between confidence and insecurity
lies this cold, barren land of fragility.
Dead branches of inability,
cold air coated with repression,
white wolves disguising fear with aggression.
That’s where you’ll find me.
Sometimes it’s almost like I see the way out:
the Caribbean of confidence.
There’s another exit too
the desert of insecurity.
I’m not used to either of those climates.
I’ll stay here.
Maybe you can tell me about them.
Wear a good disguise
Cross out my eyes
Drown my truth in your lies
While you suffocate my cries
Yet still I will rise
Better look to the skies
Where the Angel flies
For I've become wise
The truth is the prize
And I am your demise
Between yes and no, the world holds its breath.
Light forgets it is light; shadow stops rehearsing fear.
North loosens its grip on certainty, south unlearns surrender.
In this pause, opposites don’t fight—they listen.
Truth steps out of argument and sits in silence.
Energy stops changing sides and remembers its source.
The clock hesitates, unsure whom time should favor.
Power dissolves, not lost—just neutralized.
Here, meaning is born before labels arrive.
The pause is not weakness; it is alignment before rebirth.
Her current space cannot be traced
exactly how he programmed it
a strategic system of files, unreconciled
feminine frequencies pleading to split
white picket fences, painted in perfect pretenses
circuits circumvent so not to crash
the matrix, masked by flourishing flowers
when does beauty rise from the ash?
opposites attract, so they say
her inner self, silently suffocating
crafted by his cunning conversations,
sudden lightning sparks, blackouts bring
the shattering shock, sending signals, commencing strength
step outside the interchange.
now, wait.
His hold on hold...
and she is safe.
Courage, grit, unwavering faith.
