Polarity

Curtailed sonnet, for contest by Rob Carmack

The dog didn't like the kitten, but wasn't unkind No way was she going to accept or meet Him in the middle, her love was not blind But my love for you was never just fleet You were more fire, swift to ignite and burn My love, that temper would flare up overhead But I was down to earth quiet like fern Enjoying sunrise, sunsets, get my book read

It was summery this day with the heat and humidity but not as hot as it can get for which I am thankful. Sara K.

Thank you, Howard. I think I could do better, but some days I can write and some days it is not so easy. Sara K.

Thank you, Victor. Well, sometimes there is a whole lot of difference in writing something and having to write something. Thank you for stopping by with a kind comment. Sara K.
