Polarity vs Hemisphere

The left brain notes the minute details.
The right brain knows what can't be spoken.
There are two brains that think within my head:
One measures time and numbers make it spin.
The other sees the spaces in between
painting with darkness what the light cannot.
The left brain worries over grammar and form;
the right brain cares for poetry and song.
Opposing forces balanced on a thread,
A divided polarity and yet made complete.
They push and pull at the same thing together,
Forever different, trying to be one.
