Locked up in a cage.
But the beasts are allowed to roam.
The lights are dimming and the darkness grows thick.
It is like a mirror on the wall.
Reflecting everything in which you desire but can never have.
Those who takes gets.
And those who gives loses.
The scales have broken.
And you sit alone.
Crying on your throne.
The Dance of Silent Echoes
Somethin’ tender whispers—
In shadows thick with night—
A heart’s soft Reverberation—
Chasing, burning bright.
Each brush of fleeting breath—
A warmth—against the chill—
In this embrace—our promise—
Time pauses—yet—fulfills.
From early on, I have known
That she is a gift from God.
I have always wanted every fiber
of my being to be satiated with her.
Dare to give her a fighting chance,
and she will cause you to dance,
energizing you to thrive and advance,
causing our lives to be greatly enhanced.
She will serve you with her whole heart.
She's a loyal friend and will stand by you to the end.
She is very passionate but also highly sensitive.
She is well-equipped to assist you in your destiny.
Never forcefully get in your way, but she will always
stay if you desire and need her. She is never
intimidated by hi-tech or modernization; nor does
she feel inferior to convoluted sophistication.
They were not blessed with houses and lands to leave me,
but my parents and grandmother gifted me with her
and insisted that I never let go of her. I will therefore
leave plenty of her to my descendants. I tell you,
she has become a rare commodity in our modern society.
Moreover, like all precious things, her rarity makes her
all the more desirable. So, my friend, from the depths of
my heart, I beg of you. GIVE COMMON SENSE A CHANCE.
Fire
I may be a deity, but I do not truly know.
The people talk about me, but have never told me so.
They gather all around me like a holy worship ring...
Staring into my illuminating depths..
I am mesmerizing.
My powers are used to nourish
and also, to protect.
I may sustain a life,
or give a fearful, painful death.
I was created with a positive
and a negative side.
The power I can lend you,
may even let you fly!
Humans will offer the most sacrifice,
In the times of bitter cold and snow.
The trinity of Light, heat, and smoke,
Follow whereever I go.
I am a light in the dark.
I am ultimate power.
I am complete destruction...
In a negligent hour.
I am zeal and passion,
Desire, and hungry heat,
You pray I am controlled
Whenever we may meet.
I am comfort and warmth,
To those tired, stressed out souls,
I am always needed
When survival is the goal.
I soften and blur rough edges,
and I keep secrets safe.
Like a thief I'll steal your treasures...
...And like magic, I erase.
A forge within the ribcage tight,
The heart, a furnace, burning bright.
It fans the flames of fierce desire,
A flicker's spark, a soul on fire.
Love's embers glow, a gentle heat,
That warms the core, a solace sweet.
But passion's blaze, a searing pyre,
Can consume reason, set the soul afire.
Ambition's torch, a steady flame,
Pushes us onward, and fuels our name.
But envy's green, a twisted spark,
Can twist the spirit, and leave its mark.
Grief's heavy ash, a smoldering grey,
Hangs in the air, where joy once lay.
Yet hope's frail tendrils, reaching high,
Fan-hidden embers to the sky.
The heart's a kiln where emotions blend,
A crucible where lives transcend.
Forged in its fire, we take our stand,
Shaped by the flames, both fierce and grand.
So guard the fire, let reason hold,
Lest passion's heat leaves us out in the cold.
With steady breath, the bellows tend,
And let the heart's true fire ascend.
The smell of cantaloupe is enticing
Yearning to feel it’s smoothly texture
It beckons me to it with an unworldly call
The slippery flesh is on my earthly skin
As I hold the fruit it embraces me,
How sweet! How kind it is!
I sympathize and crave it!
A plant that is living and purring
Communicates to us with undecipherable
Decibels that can be heard from beyond our senses
But, I’m hungry; so hungry!
Tearing apart it’s flesh
It’s now a part of me; broken down to a
Molecular level.
During the Fall of 2022, I was introduced to a new experience.
I was tagged by the Fish and Game Department and dropped
off in an unfamiliar area. I guess they like to study the likes of
me in their research.
They forced me to scare people needlessly as I searched for food.
I wish that I could tell them that it's not my fault, that I had no
say in the matter, and that I have simply been reduced to a project,
a study, at their expense.
I remember the time that I saw a man sitting by a window. Upon seeing him,
I walked over to the window hoping to make friends with him, but I quickly
saw that he was afraid and drove me away.
I wish that they knew how I feel when I hear the loud sound of gun fire.
No one is trying to kill me, but I have feelings and fears similar to their
own when I hear such threading sounds. Just because I am a bear doesn't
mean that I desire to hurt people.
"Oh! My beloved
"I am one of the hundred
"Lost in your love
"A place for all
"A place for our love shaped in heart
"I was drowned to you
"For the very first time
"I saw you in the mountains
"Our destiny is written before birth
"I love you
"More than words can explain
"You are my desire
"I love you for a life time
"I love you for love's sake
"Love is of all passion
"You know, for it attacks
"Simultaneously,
"The head, the heart and the senses
"I am your Sheep
"Will you be my Goat?
"Thou mayst love on,through love eternity
"Do not love me out of pity Goat
"Just let the love
"Slide and come to you
"Like a wind Goat
"I your sheep
"Will wait for you willingly
"Will you be my valentine Goat?
Earth was my first breath of air
My spirit crashed, I landed there
I gasped and took my first deep breath
Bursting from the watery depths
Lumbering up in flames I raged
And sucked the oxygen from air
Then plunged into a lake of fire
To quench the thirst of my desire –
Oh, battered spirit, bruised and burned!
You never knew, you never learned!
Earth was your first breath of air
Your spirit lives, is living there –
I am destruction
The fervor of my fiery temper wreaks havoc upon ignition
Sparked and left ablaze to drift, knowing only to burn
If you ignite me, I will stop you
I forsake the very ground that feeds me,
betraying my kin with pollution
My mother Earth and brother Air, the reasons I sustain
If you trust me, I will disappoint you
I reach the peak of heat to call you from its threshold,
sending signals of longing to be put out
I tease with the ability to purify
If you desire me, I will have you
My flames all but whisper in your ear,
but try to tame and provoke my ruthless retaliation
For I suffocate if confined
If you touch me, I will hurt you
My sincere moments of warmth on bitter cold nights,
imbalanced in the ash that trails behind me
I won't cease to consume all that lies in my path
melting metal and flesh, filling chimneys and lungs, in pursuit of more
If you get too close... I will burn you
I am a strong force with resting periods every twelve hours.
I can be ferocious and loud as thunder as I express my powers.
Waves carry my weight as I ebb and flow and tickle the sands,
and deliver magical sea treasures gathered by many hands.
The moon watches over me and controls my moods,
relaxes me into a sleepy rhythm of calming interludes.
The sun gently warms my salty spray along the shore,
as I build momentum, I soon rise and crash some more.
I have no control to slow my speed and can cause danger.
Swimmers need to take heed and not try to wager.
I cannot stop my desire to ebb and flow and rise,
enjoying my beauty from a distance is always wise.
The cascading contours of the verdant mountain slope
hold me, an upstanding cone of jade coniferous pine,
gilded in gold soaked from the swathe of snow,
turned to mirror flakes by the sun of dawn.
Cinnabar glaze I get from crimson cloud passing
through the twilight gleam to the fiery horizon’s fold.
As the polar wind lancet abrades the frozen topography,
my senses shiver in the winter chill on the tips of needles.
The shroud of silence falls with the drizzle of still night,
the cerulean stardust shines on my silken visage,
shimmering in my dream to slice the misty air,
and soar in the satin sky to touch the stars.
The reverie comes true some other time,
when in festival of joy to a far-off place I go
as the Christmas tree crowned by sapphire stars.
My desire to be with stars is fulfilled in Christmas time
Looking close at the blank canvas.
Impressions he wanted displayed.
Stroking slow and pressing his brush
an image came forth from Monet.
Laying dormant all of Her life.
Her moment in time had arrived.
The feelings She felt from within,
were delicate strokes, brushed by him.
They were gentle and soft to feel,
and made his love all the more real.
She was sad to feel him finish,
as Her tears fell and relinquished.
He assured her he'd never leave,
and in Her Heart She felt so pleased.
In completion of Her He saw,
His Masterpiece hung on His wall.

I asked my Lord Jesus

Inspired by my late
father Rene, a hobby
Painter and Sculpturer.
Also inspired by John
Watt and his PoemThat
Starry Night a Poem
about Vincent Van Gogh.
Oh, how the clouds flow in the wind,
And cupid stretches his bow out towards us.
Every leafy maple flourishes as they grinned,
While the garnishing creeks all around discuss.
Billowing fog creeps around,
Nothing else in the world matters.
Eyes interlock and so profound;
All could be heard were pitter patters.
The bow-wilding infant allures;
We are forever in a loving awe,
With me knowing I am all yours,
It could almost be against the law.
How could any person resemble perfection?
Our love spreads within us like an infection.
If I have so much courage, why am I afraid?
That is like that cowardly firefly
Here and there, the excluded, scattered light points
Do you know the reason?
This bio-luminescence of the cowardly firefly is actually
A youth’s determination to revolt
One of the inevitable attractions in the game of light,
To transcend is almost impossible
The wild partridge knows, the tribal girl knows,
Knows the deep forest
The evening knows, the hills and grasslands,
The wind knows, the rain knows
And a woman firefly knows the best
Does anyone else know that?
