Black Bear
During the Fall of 2022, I was introduced to a new experience. I was tagged by the Fish and Game Department and dropped off in an unfamiliar area. I guess they like to study the likes of me in their research. They forced me to scare people needlessly as I searched for food. I wish that I could tell them that it's not my fault, that I had no say in the matter, and that I have simply been reduced to a project, a study, at their expense. I remember the time that I saw a man sitting by a window. Upon seeing him, I walked over to the window hoping to make friends with him, but I quickly saw that he was afraid and drove me away. I wish that they knew how I feel when I hear the loud sound of gun fire. No one is trying to kill me, but I have feelings and fears similar to their own when I hear such threading sounds. Just because I am a bear doesn't mean that I desire to hurt people.
