As I searched for the right Path to find the Pathfinder I ended up on some that covered my wheels and windshield with mud
This last Path I took to find the Pathfinder was on more solid ground
I stayed on this Path to find the Pathfinder and the rain came down and cleaned my wheels and windshield of the mud from the wrong Paths where I had searched to find the Pathfinder
My vision on the Path to find the Pathfinder became more clear
I had found the right Path to take to find the Pathfinder
and I embrassed what I had found

I’ve seen a world where twilight dies,
murdered off by the rising Sun.
But beholden they were so dark at times,
before that day had come.
I’ve seen the wretch with my own eyes,
and even kept at some.
Eventually I realized,
now no wrong is left unwrung.
Still the evil plays at times,
as the songs are always sung.
Last you see deceit and lies,
now know where it comes from.
So here thy words, and heed them well,
to break the spider’s spell.
Or risk to wander a land still lost,
and hope you won’t find Hell.

Majored in Social Anthropology -
Healdtown a significant influence
in his life .Not only was Mafeje an
influential academic, he was a man
of brilliance, intellect and insight.
His trials and tribulations were many. For example,
Archibald addressed a crowd which was ‘illegally gathered’,
and for that reason he was arrested. He did not despair.
A force in the fight against injustices and marginalisation.
A custodian of African heritage, awareness and identity.
A protector of the African identity, of African roots and rights;
Mafeje contributed to South Africa and its nationals. An ‘intellectual
pathfinder’ who played his role in enhancing the people of Africa’s
knowledge and self –worth. That which he bestowed, both on the scholarly
and political spheres was no mean feat. He shone in both scholastic and
insightful ways. A man of brilliance, intellect and insight. A focused pathfinder.
He laid the foundation for future African scholars embarking on a similar path of study. He also raised the benchmark in his field of study. A fountain of
knowledge and an author and researcher of repute.A focused pathfinder.

Hidden among
thick shadows
of sin
man's ancient
world is seen
the lost path
to paradise
home
is worth my
swayling from
this worthless
dome.
I defile sin and
all it's lust
i realize here on
this quay am
lost
away,far from
father's land
av'e strayed
wasted on
dying earth
av'e stayed.
My old path
have gone so
narrow
narrower than
the wings of a
sparrow
crucked with
thorns and
thistles
yet when
pathways turn
to bushes
i shall with
jah's help be a
-pathfinder-

Pathfinder
I am the pathfinder who writes the right way
Through jungles and deserts a path I find without delay
To see amazing parts of the world that is hidden without my say
I write what is to be given to see by eyes only ready to obey
With wonderment and knowledge of what is and is not today
A wordsmith from the ancient world of words that lead us to play
Imagination is endless with words familiar and unacquainted to relay
The red witch and her white dragon fly through the night recited this day
Whether or not they are here in black and white and red of course displays
Magical illusions are the perfect green garden with no rules just swish and sway
We do however seem to write laws that are not permissive to make the earth so grey
I do believe the world is for children to endeavour and listening to grownups is sometimes confusing and completely puts me in disarray.

The world was dark I could not see the day
So dark my world I could not see the day
Again I fell upon my knees to pray.
The voices whispered you must look within
Echoes of time replied you must look within
I felt my heart and mind begin to spin.
And in the darkness shone a brighter light
From the darkness came forth a sacred light
The path ahead came clearly into sight.
I learned to dance and sing the Pagan sound
Among the stones I felt the Pagan sound
As in the lunar light I had been found.
I‘m never lost where’re I dare to roam
The Pagan path always will lead me home.
