Poems don’t have to rhyme, free verse it isn’t a crime
I can write what I please—don’t call the police.
Must I play the game, rhyme and spill intimate things?
Can I develop leitmotifs without rhyming riffs?
I could claim I’m writing prose - yeah, be one of those.
No one can rhyme all the time.
I can refuse—I’m no Dr F-ing Seuss,
Damn it! ? See? THAT didn’t rhyme.

Fun songs for this:
Ain't It Fun by Paramore
It's All Your Fault (with Katie Shore) by Asleep At The Wheel
-Loneliness Of Thy Lamb-
A batch of Gods fingers pointing at the clouds of sovereignty ...
Ready to be devoured. The sheer beauty of an ignorant flower coming of age.
An entangled labyrinth. Bridled, majestic. Pledge fealty to the jungles paramore.
Symphony of emotions dwelling through a psyche wondering...To what beholds the thought of being alone, if the thought itself...Is an injustice to merit?
Envisioned by dreams, that someday...It'll be different.
Sleeping Angel

It's 4 am and you are sleeping
I wish that I could lay there with you
It's 4 am; I wish I was dreaming
The wicked games I play there with you
I wish that I could wake you up
So we could find a peaceful sleep
You beautiful, sleeping angel of mine
Come lay with me inside these sheets
Your lies are tried, worn through and through
Sometimes, Your lullabies sound like screams
We don't need money, just me and you
Let's fall into the seams
...and dream another dream.
Forevermore, my lovely paramore....
Perched high atop a secluded tor
Lies the ancient Castle of Paramour
A romantic location hidden from sight
For a rendezvous at the dead of night
Where two lovers meet for a secret tryst
Their passions rise like the morning mist
But no one must discover that they ever meet
For both are married, so they must be discrete
They are unaware there is a heavy price to pay
Once over the threshold… forever they must stay
Trapped in the castle for the rest of their life
Their infidelity brings them eternal strife
Perched high atop a secluded tor
Lies the ancient Castle of Paramore
Beware of the risk should you enter the door.

When I met you, I asked you
Why me? Why me? Why me?
Is there any reason for you
to love someone like me.
You said "Never mind reasons"
And I felt maybe that's the reason
A reason for no reasons I want to hear
A reason I wouldn't fear.
And I asked myself those too
What is there about me?
That something that he liked
and hopefully he might pursue.
I'm not pretty, nothing to love
I'm not sexy, nothing to love
I'm not young, nothing to love
I'm not even his own kind, nothing to love.
So what is there about me?
Something which made him to like me?
Just a regular ordinary lady
Maybe I'm a girl that's extraordinary.
I'm funny, something to love
I'm naughty, something to love
Im a crying baby, something to love
I'm a sweety, something to love
I'm caring, something to love
I'm thoughtful,something to love
I'm smart, something to love
I'm a one fine lady, someone to love
I'm extraordinary, someone to love
I'm a Once in Lifetime Woman, you must love.
But you're not around anymore
And can't hear this paramore, no more
I still ask myself if there could be more
So you can love me, am I such a bore?..:(
When you play a little Marvin Gaye,
And you mix it up with some Tupac.
You throw in a little Whitney and then
You add just a little Mariah Carey,
Some Ludacris, Some Mary Mary.
Throw in some Fred Hammond,
Aaliyah, Tank, Kirk Franklin,
And Raheem Devaugn's "Woman".
A little Dwele and Common,
Mos Def, Avant and
Gym Class Heroes.
Play some Ray Charles,
Heart, Queen, Ella Fitzgerald,
Paramore, Hawthorne Heights, Musiq Soulchild,
Poison, Case, Rascal Flatts,
Etta James, Louis Armstrong and mix that
With a little DMX and Christina Aguilera,
Destiny's Child, Timbaland the hitmaker,
Chris Brown, Anthony Hamilton, J Moss, Jill Scott.
Mix it up and then you've got
The soundtrack to my life.
