Sleeping Angel

Sleeping Angel
By Laura D
November 15, 2016

It's 4 am and you are sleeping
I wish that I could lay there with you
It's 4 am; I wish I was dreaming
The wicked games I play there with you

I wish that I could wake you up
So we could find a peaceful sleep
You beautiful, sleeping angel of mine
Come lay with me inside these sheets

Your lies are tried, worn through and through
Sometimes, Your lullabies sound like screams
We don't need money, just me and you
Let's fall into the seams

     ...and dream another dream.

          Forevermore, my lovely paramore....
