Dream

Dream
I took your hands into mine with a gaze
You smiled and murmured,
“I will not go, and why hold so tight?”
I let you go loose with a cautious look.
Though happy and blissful jiffy
Scared was I of the evading scene.
Will the time come grabbing you from me?
But stayed you till the end with me.
Rang the alarm eclipsing my soul
Dropping me to the world without you.
Realized did I, the biome of mine,
All alone but just with your memories.
Piercing is my soul, with a sharp dagger
Driving I am in the palanquin of grieve.
Beckons me the responsibilities you bestowed
Beholds and harnesses to this secluded world.
Bewildered I am to transcend;
Elated I am to live in the old bygones
The treasure troves of memories of you and us
That heaven have endued on us

Never Can End

Holding the delicate hands of moonlit
I walked through the quixotic garden
Dragonflies flew over the pink flowers
As the starry neon light twinkled fairs

Wandered I sitting on the cloudy boat
Where the sprinkled fogs spread scent
Poetic loving sonnet there recited song
On butterflies’ wings my sleep belonged

No nightmare it’s desired puffing dream
Diamond starry palanquin carries beam
Luscious lips grip the hearts pair in fair
Fertile land of life suits new moon slim

Springtime of dream never can end love
Twin souls date can fly this way as dove

Premium MemberIn the Hush of Eve

In the hush of a fading twilight eve
Heard the passionate crooning of a dove
Under the eaves, it sat close to her love
What delight, that sound instantly gave

Sudden was the change it could impart
Brought forth a spurt of spontaneous delight
Lifting away all my sadness and regret,
It fell like rain into my lovelorn heart.

The heavens soon turned azure blue
In joy, my heart began to leap
It generated in me emotions too deep
Before me, all beauty came into view.

I saw pearls of bright sheen on trees,
Resting wobbly on the edge of leaves
Felt the scent of opening flowers,
Fanned in bouts of wind and breeze

Watched the evening covering in shrouds
And the day paving way to night
In darkness, fireflies dancing in delight
And the moon riding in the palanquin of clouds

In the open, I sat long like a sculptured figure
Breathing the scent of the perfumed air
Experiencing a new gaiety in profuse measure
My heart brimming with umpteen desire

Ludwig Leichart

Ludwig Leichart

This perplexing country,
(such an under statement),
where rivers run upside down,
marbles are strewn by the Devil
and Songlines
etched in memory are
sung by those few who know.
Seeking Victoria,
the blazed trees could not help,
the Prussian collapsed, looking at the blue.
Initialled stunted trees showed the way,
signposts to oblivion,
while the heat,
always the heat,
in a furnace of shadeless infinity
dessicates his body.
What use the blaze?
He cannot walk or crawl,
only a palanquin borne by flies,
Oh the flies,
will carry him there
until their wings melt.
He came from the south
humming tunes from a Baroque choir
to reach the Arafura sea,
where Cornish stone -masons build chimneys
to ward of the chill (sarcastic laugh).
and a Tamarind tree guards the entrance.
The red coated soldiers have left
And he, Ludwig had vanished.
A fanfare blasts, .
Is that an angel holding Brown’s hand
up there on top of a nunatak of the desert,
the quavers and semi-quavers merging
in an anthem of despair?

If I Die

I dream my pure death everyday
on the mountain of thirty five years

Zodiac sign tells me nothing
but I'm unstable in my immune suffering

Next Boishakh may be mine
Decorating the flowery palanquin

If I die nothing will happen
Earth is ever living agent as usual

Some tears of sad rainy sky
the drought ground will devour

Seeing weeds on the sepulchral breast
Passerby will be assured- nothing was there

The Funeral Palanquin Goes With Falling Leaves

when a leader of the pallbearers stands high
on the front of a funeral palanquin recites a dirge
ringing a bell held in his hand

the pallbearers’ response to the dirge
stepping one on forward and two backward
echoes more melancholically in the air then the leader’s
because their response is so monotonous and simple
and in this melancholic air a nil life’s last journey
goes as a lonely soul

i wonder how did the soul on the palanquin live his life
the leaves fall on the pallbearers’ feet by a hillside slope
though there is no wind to sway, the day with no tomorrow
goes with the lonely soul

Note: A Palanquin is a covered litter or box used to carry a person of high rank. Although two or four men with ropes carried the palanquin, the funeral palanquin, Korean traditional, is larger in its size, decorated with flowers and colorful ornaments and covered with an awning and carried by ten or more men. Nonetheless, depending upon the funeral size, the number of carriers increases.

Someone Get Me

Someone get me a Catholic Priest.
I have a confession to make.
About how I doubted God-
By not believing in the magnificence of his creation.
ME!

I told me lies that I believed like the Bible.
Chanted my own crafted verses-
Within the darkest temples of my lost hollow mind.
I buried the skeleton of my soul in wandering waters of skepticism.
Now I suffocate for the truth like oxygen

Someone get me a doctor.
They say my anatomy is proof of life's perfection
But I've mutilated the molecular structure
of water molecules in my cerebrum with my dubious thinking.
If I am Adam's replication, then I will need an auscultation
For my heart beats out of fear of the things I can become.
So I set my feet wide on high grounds
And make the winds blow me.
Till I float with my thoughts to the place where destiny lives.

Someone get me a photographer.
Today we take pictures of the things we cannot see.
Faith is in the thin air like a sylphic palanquin.
Ready to take us heights till we reach the depths of our essence.
