more to life than meets the eye ~ said the blind man who slipped in a pigsty
but some swine oinked pigs might fly ~ this trip up will cause a huge overfly
and sure enough as days went by ~ eyes appeared damn vultures in the sky
the lesson learnt here don’t ask why ~ sh!t just happens when in oversupply
June left and cometh July
The month certainty relies
All the necessary goods oversupply
Of hope to announce thy birth
After the nine months stress of worth
As congratulations awaits luck in childbirth
Glory to God that the pains turn mirth
Happy birthday to you, dear lovely sister
May your days end soon as a spinster
To get the best friend as a mister
And whenever the time shall be right
May you not struggle to fight
To have the man of your heart holds tight
Till time fades out of its been bright
Enjoy your day to the best possible satisfaction
Rock it your own way; the beauty in nature's attraction
And forget the runaway distraction
To steal an inch of thy flows
Or made still the chances of continuing the blows
In the lovely moment as it glows
Before the day comes to a close
Too Much Technology,
Yet not enough Ecology.
Too much Talking,
And not enough conversation.
Too much planning,
Yet not enough doing.
Too much planting,
And not enough food.
Too many cars,
Yet not enough people.
Too much production,
And not enough consumption.
Too low prices,
Yet not enough quality.
Too much competition,
And not enough co-operation.
Too much of everything,
Yet not enough of anything.
Too much dope,
And not enough hope.
Yet we have had enough reverses,
To know there are enough possibilities,
To negate the oversupply of Procrastinators,
While we still have enough faith in our innovators.
{He}
Moisture wells from in to out
The sky drapes its dress
Quiescently, you tilt your head and pout
Your shoulder kisses a tiny tress
Vapor is breathed on the glass
A tantalizing blaze flaring from behind
Fumbling your hair into a clump of morass
Skintight, our souls entwined
As we sublime seconds quicker than a blink
your heart throbs, I flutter
and let out a soft whine in sync
I remember you like the taste of butter
{She}
An icy hot bath melts
our raw hearts transpire
roses are planted all over your svelte
body as my undying desire
Gases gushes out from my pore
as we boil ourselves a temperature too high
my teeth still sizzle and I am ready to roar
hereby you lean in and charge my oversupply
Maybe I need a cup of water
to dilute the enkindled fire,
or else a lamb to the slaughter
could be me stuck with a liar
False winter—deceitful—fuels the unrest.
Paris preyed upon; men’s anger coalesced;
guns frame the debate.
Pride and despair fan the unholy flame.
The dispossessed grab weapons and take aim,
do words or actions desecrate?
Twelve dead in Paris—and a free press denied,
mourn for the loss, when faith and guns collide.
To men with no life, there’s only death.
Fathers and mothers, daughters and sons cry;
the workings of men leave no time for goodbye.
Shout, “Vive la liberté” with each breath.
False warmth stirs a hornet’s nest, of dispossessed
on Boulevard Richard le Noir, hate crests.
Guns frame the debate.
Words are warriors, oh there’s might in the pen
what do men die for—ideas council men.
Loss, want, and hate dictate.
With bombs, knives, and guns Europe-wide
strike concern where complacence was decried:
no homes, no jobs, unrest,
societal problems in oversupply.
Your eyes, open your eyes, the dead cry.
There must be more than death.

Talk about a Christmas miracle I tell you it was just amazing,
The sale of the century and it set my charge card blazing.
Why they were practically giving the stuff away I couldn’t just turn and leave,
The prices were so Earth-shatteringly low it was impossible to believe.
And no one seemed to be around and there was an oversupply of stock,
No pushing or shoving anywhere, I was the only shopper on the block.
The checkout lines were completely empty and I didn’t have to wait,
And the gourmet coffee that the bagger gave me really tasted great.
And then my alarm went off and I saw that it was three o’clock in the morning,
I had to be ready to go by four or my sister would leave me without warning.
Black Friday comes but once a year, she said, so be ready or be in trouble deep,
But I preferred shopping in my dreams so I rolled over and went back to sleep.

Once when heading up VBS
Money was very scarce
Funding deficient
Sanity chances gone
Survival questionable
While looking for something fun to entertain
On a shelf sitting quietly
A half-gallon jug
Which contained magic elixir_slimmy_soapy
Bubbles trapped in plastic
All this mixture needed was two teenage girls
Who had oversupply of energy
To create bubbles in multiples
These bubbles for little ones to chase_burst
And want more to chase again
Many bubble memories of happiness
As those little ones did play
But the best memory is of those teenage helpers
Laughing as bubbles they did make
In honor of Debbie Guzzi's Bubbles contest...
A Moratorium On Training More Lawyers?
By Elton Camp
With the job market for lawyers being saturated
It’s time that most of the programs be terminated
It surely seems that the law schools could understand
That the supply of attorneys already exceeds demand
That is why unprofessional things the law firm tries
Like openly and flagrantly beginning to advertise
Would any other profession stoop low to do that way?
“Let me take your uterus out,” would a doctor ever say?
Would a college professor advertise, “My class is best
And your learning here will be better than in the rest?”
Lawyer ads have a small-print disclaimer at the end
But for the oversupply of them, ads wouldn’t begin
Even to the law student, it’s unfair to crank more out
Then to make a decent living they find there’s doubt
On contingency, injury lawyers usually offer to serve
And unless they win the case, no payment do deserve
A losing client may need to pay the winner’s cost & fees
Most who sue are unaware of possibilities like these
