Intuition 111

111 known to represent intuition
Trusting yourself fully is the mission

Have you ever felt something about someone
everyone else was blinded by the gaslight
but some time passed 
and turns out - YOU WERE RIGHT 

How many times does that have to occur 
for you to finally accept 
that listening to self instead of everyone else
will keep you from living inept

In-depth we could go
diagrams I could show 
of the chemicals produced when you get that gut feeling
but truly its overriding your programming, unlearning... healing
but saying it with words
that you've definitely heard
Is certainly more appealing. More revealing. 

You know... Yes you know
That overpowers what you were taught
Trusting yourself is winning the war
the battles lost, can get forgot. 
A twist in the Plot! You were right all along
You can't believe that they achieved a mental shackling so strong

But now its time to know
You know yes you do
No shaman can tell you better, no priest or pastor or Guru

Do not ignore your feelings
Analyze them and understand them on this mission
Breathe, look yourself in the I, and tap into your intuition

Sincerity

I should like to come to that place of rest
Where a sweet peace overshadows all poverty,
The mindset has become always doing my best
Where the freed mind allows me pure liberty,
Where my overriding, compelling drive is sincerity.

The Thermometer shows
Heat increasing causing
Expanding liquid and
Rising numbers
Mercury
Overriding 98.6
My temp measured creating
Exasperated thinking due to my
Temperature intensifying.....forecasting
Emanate sickness leading to a
Reluctant doctor visit.

The dive

Maybe I dived in too early 
Unaware of the depth of the waters
And I thought I got it all
Now I'm drowning
The tide is overriding my strength
The sharks coming on my way

Maybe I dived in too late
Thinking I got it all
I'm now hurting
I can't feel a thing
I am all numb
As if I'm in a dark room all by myself

Maybe I didnt dive at all
Scared of the things I don't know
Dark figures looming over my head.
The strength to go on failing me
Now wishing I had given it a try
But it seems its too late

The roses slowly faded and wilted
What's left is the thorns on the roses
The scar are now visible
If only I had....
Now I'm burying all my doubts
I will dive in

For Just Once

If your courage lasted for
just an instant
Overriding your fear,
all excuses behind
If one choice you made
could then reimagine
A world once illusioned
—stepping out of your dreams

THIS MY FRIEND

This my friend
If you allow it to be,
An overriding factor
That exists inside of each,
Of you,
Of me,
This overriding factor,
Is the still little voice
Which can be either or either?
The voice of encouragement
Or the voice of derision and destruction
So the choice for you my friend
Is for you to allow it to be
For you to have this still little
To carry you along
In hope, glory and happiness,
Or dash you against the rocks
Of hopelessness, grief and sadness,
This my friend
Is your choice
And this my friend
Is if you allow it to be.

To My Harasser

You have spent so much energy and time
Trying to see, follow, harass and be me
You have forgotten to be you

We run from you 
Because there is something so powerfully off
We are fearful 

You might have an assault rifle
We would not be surprised
Your behavior has alarmed many

Please know that we are all aware
Which does not make you
Any less scary 

This obsession you have to 
Follow me, harass me, badger me, bully me
Is truly frightening

Assuring me that you are capable of much more
I have given you social cues, but you are not getting them
Your obsession with me overriding any socialization skills you might have once had

Please remember to be you
And leave me alone
For once.

Riding Ninety Four

Tiring also feeling well no
Sick beaten or bed ridden 
Walking slow for taking grave 
Going with the nature's law 
At the age of Ninety four 

Proud of Queen Elizabeth 
Finding her way to riding horse
Overriding her power of will 
Proud of Queen riding old all 
At the age of Ninety four

A Silent Cry

Unknown behind the scenes
diminishing harsh words
with pain
pictured so real
a beautiful scene
laughing while crying
the words are mean
a smile in the view
while downsizing you
a jealousy streak
from humbled to meek
hidden behind a terrible peak
overriding it all
as one plans ahead
leaving the scene
to a real life
no pain no games
genuine love abroad
without harsh saying names
the time has come
no doubt about it
to and from
a life that's positive
new life begins
wanting to live
as time passes by
laughter of cries
a silent one
remembrance of joy
like the eagle soars
peace within
a Blessed life
rewarded in many ways
not an everyday strife
from day to day
thankful as life goes on
a journey made
on the way.

Hubris

Certain men have risen to claim dominance over society,
Their actions attest to barren depths of indifference,
Caring not that those who are unable to fight back
Are trodden beneath the heavy boots of oppression;
Artistry, vision unrecognized by these ruthless men
Allowing the best of creation to fall unrealized;
Blindness reflected in the aperture of willfulness,
They fail to realize the key to their survival
Depends upon those they seek to trample.
Denying the nuance of eternal life,
Disbelieving warnings that their war-filled saga
Lacks the grace of God’s perfect blessing,
Their hubris knows no bounds,
Their proclivity for power overriding any doubt.
With no one possessing the temerity to question their authority
They flourish in shallow praise, unable to comprehend
They bring about their own self-inflicted death
As disease eats away the marrow of their existence.
Unmourned, unheeded they shall pass away
Forgotten, unremarkable as they die an ignoble death.

Berlin

Berlin's a place that contradicts -
It's vibrant, but it's haunting,
The paradigm of hipness, with
A history most daunting.

The damage done in World War II
Reduced it to a rubble 
And then the famous wall went up,
Which led to years of trouble.

You can't forget (and never should)
The Nazi reign of terror.
Memorials abound atoning
For that awful era.

Yet everything has been restored.
You won't see ancient buildings,
But modern takes of what was lost,
Replete with domes and gildings.

This is a city worth a trip,
With coolness overriding,
Defiant that to all the world
Its past will not be hiding.

Wind Chill Blowing

cold-shoulder 
wind chill blowing 
negativity  
sweeping 
aside progression 
dismissing changes 
in over all 
prospective    
overriding    
strides upwards
on the climb to 
the top of the 
montion to gain 
a different vantage
point from which to 
view the landscape 
of this countryside 
filled with it's
hidden beauty
