You have spent so much energy and time Trying to see, follow, harass and be me You have forgotten to be you We run from you Because there is something so powerfully off We are fearful You might have an assault rifle We would not be surprised Your behavior has alarmed many Please know that we are all aware Which does not make you Any less scary This obsession you have to Follow me, harass me, badger me, bully me Is truly frightening Assuring me that you are capable of much more I have given you social cues, but you are not getting them Your obsession with me overriding any socialization skills you might have once had Please remember to be you And leave me alone For once.
