Outrage

There’s no decorum or respect
Within the White House walls
And cameras let us witness
Some behavior that appalls.

Invite a foreign dignitary
Then berate, insult, accuse –
That’s the playbook for a bully
Desperate to be in the news.

Why would any other country,
After seeing that display,
Send a leader, knowing he or she’d
Be treated in that way?

Every day brings more examples
Of outrageousness

A day
That I’ll always remember
A very somber DAY
A very sad day
A day to ponder
A day to wonder
A day
Not like any other day
A very unusual day
A day to pray
A day to say
A day of madness
A day of sadness
Oh! my God
A very crazy day
A day to respect the Lord

Have you ever been convicted of a felony?
   Have you ever aborted a baby? ...

 Outraged by the second question's premise
   ~ we shed no tears for the baby's demise

False Liberal

the false liberal
a profiteer
takes advantage of good and vice
wants to profit from our sacrifice...
  Does not  llove life sucks it up,
does not  love humanity
explores it...

a parasite
between usury and theft

to usurps and boasts
with the fruit of sin...!

Senses guide what may be divined

Outrage

I'm so sick and tired of police brutality;
  Incidents after incidents of racist White cops 
             Brutally beating up or killing 
   Yet another Black person, guilty of a crime 
   Or not. Mind you, these incidents still

Outrage

I am at odds with this world 
bearing ill will towards all,
There’s a moral outrage brewing 
in me that I’m unable to constrain.

It’s like I am on a crusade to
right the wrongs of modern society
and punish those responsible.
To exact revenge on those who
have soiled the fabric of society.

Unbeknownst to me, 
this seething resentment 
is raging

Our state does not mandate masks in schools. 
Under the best conditions, teaching during a pandemic is difficult.
Teachers try to keep up with who is here, who is absent.
Reality sets in when our kids are hospitalized for no good reason except for
Angry parents who demand that a piece of cloth on the face infringes on

Joseph Biden thought he'd call Donald Trump
Trump picked up and roared, "How ya do-in,' Chump?" --
   President Joe was outraged
   He had Stormy Daniels paged --
Smirked, "This'll help you get over the hump."

My Little Room

The Lord spoke softly to me:
"Go into your room,
close the door behind you
and pray to your Father above.

You screamed "Come out of that room!
Hell knows what you do in that room!
The people want to see you out of that room!
You spend too much time in that room!"

   Clear lake-blue skies there all day long

   Antifa showed its true colors on Inauguration Day

We innocently say things that fosters rampage.
Seems everything spoken bruises somebody’s shin,
We claim some word has caused our chagrin.

Today, it seems, that we’re too thin skinned,
Attacking others until their words they rescind.
We nit pick, and search, for a lame reason to whine,
While with others thinking

Why do News Agencies Always Say Scandal?

Because they don’t even seem to have a handle
That some said no and are ready to go
And why the Remainers need to keep blowing their nose

As for me do I care.
