Premium MemberIn my deepest fantasies

In my deepest fantasies
I am onstage singing with Glenn Hughes

We are doing the Deep Purple songs together
Both playing bass

The crowd is cheering and yelling
Giving us all their love

And then it’s time for the bass solo
Glenn points to me and says go!

I shred the strings and bring the o-bass to life
Nothing could be finer

Then I awaken
To see it was all just a dream

Premium MemberYou, That's Who

It hits my nose
Vanilla rose
An onyx ring
Wow, can she sing!
This bluebird fair
With long brown hair
And gorgeous eyes
Yeah, butterflies
The brightest smile
Seen from a mile
Her very essence
Onstage presence
In denim, dresses
She impresses
Clicks and cues
And comfy shoes
Boots at times
The stuff of rhymes
Ok, I'll stop
I've said alot
But there's much more
I hold in store
The nth degree...
Believe you me

Premium Memberonstage, i want to turn to the band and say 'take me home, daddy'

it would be a last request, before the gallows
like baloo sings it
i'm being led there, the narrow path between the
faces of the people
my hands tied behind my back
the rope taut against the skin
and i'm going,
de-zop-ba-ronie
hap-da-dee-ba-lat
da-dat-dat-non
hey, a-baby-dot-doo
zaba-doo-doo-day-doo-bop
doo-boo-doo-day, ze-bonz
za-bop-bop-bobby

we arrive
i turn to the hooded executioner.
'take me home, daddy.'

Premium Member51 Petals

I love you little Bluebird
Of that you can be sure
And of and all about you
I want to know much more
Referring not to physical
I love the who you are
Pardner, soul mate, perfect match
In those you're my rock star

I know this may sound simple
It's certainly not deep
But I send kisses every night
Before I go to sleep
I dream of us together
All things with you engage
Of quiet weekends writing songs
Then crushing them onstage

I also play that silly game
She loves me, loves me not
I just make sure the flower petals
Always number odd
I never understood when told
How love could be so grand
But then you sang into my life
Now I understand

Premium MemberHere Ye, Hear Ye

Come home soon, I miss you much
I long for you, to feel your touch
Inside my heart, with you engage
When standing side by side onstage
I glance real quick to watch you sing
You're in my ears, I'm listening
To only you, your voice so sweet
You're all I want to hear, repeat :II

Fields of Glass

There
Is a rhythm
I could never get

Until then.
Onstage,
Watching the conductor, my page.
I was set on getting it
And I did-
And the conductor smiles
A smile so big it reaches to hell
And back.
Well,
I smile back
A smile so big
It reaches to the ends of the Earth.

And I play on
And I laugh
A laugh so sweet
That it makes flowers grow
Un-der-neath my seat.
And I laugh
A laugh so bitter
It waxes and wanes
And makes rats skitter.

And I crescendo my last and final thought.
Of whether to shift or whether to not.
And as the piece takes its final bow
I think about home
And the fields I plow
Fields of glass
And fields of stone.
Fields of brass
And fields alone.

But no,
Not here.
Friendship,
Family,
Call it what you will.
But even when they leave,
We are together, still.
Together in art,
Together in part,
Together we make
Something smart.

Orchestra
Strings
Say what you may,
Even when they graduate,
We'll find a way.

The Straight-Line life will
find a way to wind
its way in time

Save the savings they say
for a future day

Save the savings for
play days and dates in a future

I am the today onstage
there will be no encore
	and therefor

No tomorrow
	No yesterday

A Transmasc Experience

Never so scared
Chains on my chest
Can't hear me
Help
Help

I am exposed
I will be hurt
So obvious
So vulnerable

Panicking
Shutting down
Can't shut down
Have to go onstage
Can't go onstage
Shutting down
Can't shut down
Have to go onstage
Can't go onstage
Shutting down

One hour twenty minutes left
Please help
Please help
I'm stuck

I need my binder
I left it at home

Premium MemberPresents and Presence

I love to give you presents
Let me buy you things
I know your taste in clothing
Necklaces and rings

Nothing too expensive
That's for another time
Right now just little keepsakes
And lots and lots of rhymes

Don't look for any knockoffs
Just tell me what you want
I love to give you presents
You're not the type to vaunt

You have an innate beauty
You're gorgeous on your own
You're natural and candid
But when you dress full blown

You take my breath away from me
You're incredible to observe
Onstage a living dynamo
Contained but full of verve

I'd love to see you unconstrained
To watch you let it out
There's no one else who's quite like you
Of that I have noooo doubt

Disrupted rough sea ripples shuffle
    audience anticipation
    Shift in seats, hammered hearts
    Pummel, fluffy microphone muffle
    confines communication
    To thespian garish starring parts

Leading lady stands on X central
    scintillating stiff corset
    Holds ocean of faces transfixed
    Hushed haze of amazed attention
    long leg stride endorses
    Cancan colourful ruffled kicks

Glitter adds amps to eyes squinted
    focus on filmed direction
Glow in spotlight, skin peach orange
    Sets character afloat, limelight lifted
    dusk dim purple perfection
    Transmits her story beyond onstage

     Pivot pelvis razzle reactive samba
     fast feet choreograph flawless
     Flashy features outshine backdrops
For her love, Leading man clamours
     resounding auditorium applause
Ensures her ego never lacks props

Premium MemberIt's Her

Stunning in a hot pink dress
Under spotlights, does impress
Elegance and fabric flow
Radiance and smile glow

Captivates this poet's heart
Compares to no one, set apart
From all others, style and grace
A natural, she sets the pace

And when onstage begins to sing
The walls in heaven start to ring
Resounding from angelic voice
No further contest, she's the choice

A woman onstage second to none
Incredible in so many ways
With just a piano she shines like the sun
And lights those who hear with her rays
This voice that excites all the senses
What a treasure exists in her phrase
If I had my choice I would live in that voice
Until the moment I'm called from my days

Premium MemberLucid Dream World

Time stretched in slow motion
and memory erased,
in this world of contrast;
bemused by illusions,
no wonder we're aghast.

Time stretched in slow motion,
life plays like a movie
and as actor onstage,
we become hypnotised
by mind battles we wage.

Time stretched in slow motion,
that we may feel each pulse
as the pendulum swings,
wherein if we be still,
God's grace will grant us wings.

Time stretched in slow motion,
a play for our delight,
as we flow on with ease,
spreading fragrance of love,
that's wafting through the breeze.

Premium MemberPickle Party On Display

Ladies and gentlemen, and all the rest
We do entertain you to the fullest
As pickle members of well-being zest
Showing functional roles for healthy quest
Making us thank God*, we’re uniquely blest!

Ready are we to show our savory best
Sizzling loudly, exuding flavor’s jest
Behold our spices strong in challenging taste test
Mustard seed, chili powder belt song-fest
While turmeric yodels from choir loft nest!

Onstage are fresh herbs lilting with delight
Ginger, onion, garlic, dill … sway to flight
Along salt and vinegar’s graceful might
Ecstatic midst olive oil’s waltzing sprite
Satiating awesomely everyone’s appetite!

Molasses, alum rise to freedom height
Swirling around cucumbers’ soaring sight
As crispy carrots with shrimps glide aright
Bottled on display for dieters’ plight---
In our party, you’re welcome --- since we palatably invite!

*In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
