Secret

I am sure I will break my own heart
When you know I love you
That’s why it is a secret from the start
Eventhough my love so true

I’ll just see you from distant
Your happiness is what so important

Broken Wings

From what I have and feel, I know you love me still
But from what I hear and see, you’re not here with me
You’ve broken my wings!

If my wings have to be broken, I’ll take it without any offer
I won’t let go of them, cos I want to live with them
Until It’s over!

I don’t want to burn my own wings of love with a false feeling
Eventhough I can not have you, maybe I could still be dreaming
That someday…
I could give my own heart a special part of yours without anything for turning

All Me For You

If only I could say that I was born for you
If only I could say that I’m in love with you
Never care of what I’ve said this feeling is all I know

No matter what kind of destiny we’re into
No matter what kind of fate lead us to
I will always there for you…wanting you

And in this moment that I will sacrifice
In this moment that I will give all up
Myself to you…myself to you

These eyes want your deep stare
These hands want your sweet care
These lips want tender kiss
This heart loaded with miss
Baby, you all I need
Baby, I’m all you need

No matter what kind of tale we’re into
No matter what kind of scene lead us to
I will always feel for you…Loving you

And in this moment that I will magnify
In this moment that I will dignify
My love for you…
All me for you

Limbo

The words I mean to say, the rhyme
as thoughts do insurrect, as to divine
the love I share, the courage that was mine
is often missing what the sense entwines.

If I do love you, sometimes hollow twine
is all my heart can muster up to line
and so the grace that heaven gives in sign
is muted by comparison, I find ~

And love tht once did merit grace in kind
now errors, as in limbo . . . . . undefined!

Words

What significance has ‘all’ for us?
What significance has ‘can’ for me?
Ability if I would have
Love I’ll convert it into all.
Can it be true to love?
To rumble in this riddle?
This helplessness is all I have
This helplessness is like a shield
It wants me to stay and not to speak.
This helplessness has won.
Until now I’ve been its.
Only if I could, just once,
To live my own life,
To run father away
And forget about the world.
What is love? What is life?
One life if I could have
I’ll convert it all in what
Significance has love for us.
But what is it exactly?
Love doesn’t die?
For eternity in me shall stay
If it would be love
Holy love or lusty love,
Indwelling love.
But who are you?
Didn’t search for you,
How did I found you?
Have I fell in love?
Or it is just love?
It doesn’t go if comes.
Will you love me?
Will you share with me?
In my eyes you’ll find yourself
And then we’ll rest
And forever we will be together
And we shall live our life
When everything will mean love.

Puzzle of Great Poetry

PUZZLE OF GREAT POETRY

My mum liked poems a lot - loved ‘em
She used to love “Ozymandius” and was proud
To read another called “Abou Ben Adhem”
She would often read them to me out loud.

I loved them, for their message was blunt
Now I find that I still love them and admire
The great thoughts of Shelley and Hunt.
And to be as good a writer I aspire

Or is it simply that I was taught
To do what’s right, never shrinking
And to behave a certain way I ought?
Such poems now easily fit my way of thinking

Their way leads to the future brightly :
Poor people treated rightly, and then
“Nothing beside remains, ye mighty” *
“Write me as one that loves his fellow men” **

Note :
              * From OZYMANDIAS by Percy Shelley
** From ABOU BEN ADHEM by Leigh Hunt

For Deborah Guzzi (A Poet and a True Friend)

My mind like a hand turned up before the eye
Palm bare, empty as a desert air
Found no words, for every fresh brook was dry
And I was left brimmed with care

But then I read a love note to man in absence
Where the flowers bloom wild
And felt a sprout quicken on a dew of evidence
So with the drought I reconciled

And for your love I scrape the page with my pen
And tell my soul to wring a memory
And make love flock to you, my sister, friend
For every frfiendhsip tells a history.

Wings

Poems have wings of grace and beauty
Wings that sprinkle worlds with peace,
Wings that watch man’s tears overflowing,
Wings that shelter hearts held near.
Wings to warm and wings to glisten
Wings to glide above hope’s clouds.
Wings to signal lover’s wanting,
Lofty dreams where angel’s smile.

Poems have wings that fly and flutter
Crossing oceans of watery waves.
Wings that span the skies forever
Soar toward each heaven sent day.
Above they glide beside the mountains.
Sweet nectar drips from tiny feet –
Fulfilled flowers pollinated.
And love lies veiled within the grass

Poems have wings where wisdom flickers.
And synapses spark in human minds.
Poems have wings where lovers tremble.
And sweethearts dreaming love sublime.
Wings where courage never wavers.
Poetic wings where insights soar -
Crossing continents through minds thoughts send.
Upon each word a poet sighs, love flies high.

I have found many friends on our site
They have helped learn how to live right
Friends encouraged me to find my way
Friends held me in the prayers they pray

During my absence away from this site
My soul and I fought a constant fight
Because deep inside these words are true
I love the time I spend with all of you

I hope you all know without any doubt
I love taking my soul and laying it out
Because when it comes to life it’s my turn
I’ve so much to give so much to learn

I’ve kept my summer free so I can show it
How much I love being a PoetrySoup Poet

Love and Poetry

Words from the start, mold from my heart into creativity
Adjectives and verbs paint a vivid picture of you in my poetry
Word play mixed with emotions is in everything I write
A love deeper than the deepest oceans recite into the night!

It is a thirst that each stanza, each verse comes from within
At first, I figured it a curse that a love like this could only be sin
But I did not tire, your love had me on a wire, writing these melodies
A burning desire on fire inside can only be released in my poetry!

So, here I am. No cryptogram in this style of writing
To have you smile makes this piece worthwhile, so exciting!
We are forever and you will never get enough of me
What I write into the night is eternally, love and poetry!!!

Love For Truth

"What will bind everyone together is the true love for truth and not the false love for
judgment"

Dream Fairies

I dreamed of Fairies, floating around my head.
They were beautiful, colors of green, yellow, and red.
Occasionally one would rest on my shoulder and hint.
Why they were visiting me, and why they were sent.
I listened though it was difficult to understand words.
Most the sounds they made were like chirps of birds.
Though one was different, with a voice like a human girl,
She said to me, I love you, come with me, and give it a whirl.
If you choose to stay with me, we can change history.
If you choose to return to life, this love will be a mystery.
I shall still visit you from time to time, to tell you secrets.
Each treasure, I shall give to thee, there shall be no regrets.
Now you know how my muse came to me one night.
My words blessed, I love her forever, and she is my delight.

Reminiscing With Time

Glittering sparks of your memories flash across my face
Divulging with thoughts of you and me as I reminisce here in this place
Remembering the love we both shared together
Time we spent apart and together
Our promise that come rain, sunshine or whatever we’ll still be together
You promised, played your part and however
I have no doubts that we’ll still be here forever
With you by my side I can endure any strains and pains that come my way
We’ll be strong and readily prepared for another day
As the challenges we faced ironed us out straight
Keeping us more focused with our heads up and ready to face another day
Our arguments and fights we remembered and laughed away in shame
Thinking of how we fought instead of to carefully sought
While blurred with the misery, challenges and frustrations of life

I remembered how I hoped and waited eagerly and nervously for you to say the words quickly
but carefully

I am glad that we’re still here today haven learned, triumphant
We kept our promises as the thoughts and presences of our love with time echoed, fading away
Indeed even with the “distance”-barriers memories never fade.

Trial & Error

Mistakes are apart of life, it's a given, that's the beauty of it. In an instance pain & turmoil
can hover over you like a black cloud, the past is the past it's all about the right now. I'm
livin off experience and in these days positive communication people ain't really listening to
they don't make men & women like they used to love ain't what it used to be, trial & error is
one step closer to being free unconditional love is needed so before I settle for less and
compromise my faith i save face keep it moving and keep them platonic friends, yet I still
await my woman to arrive so heaven sent, what's taken her so long to find me is she really
that hesitant nevermind that I just continue to eat my daily bread yeah spiritual leavening in
the essence I never fell off thart bike I'm still peddling, my God is able to do exceedingly so I
wear my heart on my sleeve for the hell of it life ain't nothin but a highly anticipated
suspense movie but the black guy doesn't die in this one. This ain't a fairy tale but I then
seen some re-runs yeah I hear evil but check it I don't see none still I await my queen's
arrival patiently all in due season
