—On the Sight That Waited for You—
Did I love then? My sight had learn’d to lie,
and clothed each apparition in borrowed light;
I kiss’d the dawn and watch’d the western sky,
and deem’d the numinous in mortal sight.
I call’d the rain’s pale argent fall divine,
made vanishing a sacrament of flame;
and made each fugitive splendour a shrine,
and gave the passing world an endless name.
Till thou didst enter—and the very air
seem’d suddenly vacat’d of what it feign’d;
the rain still silver’d every waiting stair,
yet through each interstice the dark remain’d.
I kiss’d thy hand—and all my heavens knew
their light had only been rehearsing you.
This for drinking fount, fount
Central to its display
With illuminant
As what spilt more honoured
Shed more to enchant.
Worked of hands, whose firm hearts
Of Beauty's old standards
Most conscientious!
Timeless. Timeless remain.
As Truth; numinous.
‘Great Wonder to watch Winter's shiny show of snowy charm strictly speaking , a splendid
splendour,
Since born, staying only in summer zone,
no idea of natural beauty in snow.
So far tasted only ice cream cone.
About snow fantasy how could I know?
Debut of snow flakes in chilled attitude :
on my first meet with serene snow scenario
in a tourist spot on high altitude.
Me slandering up, clouds floating below.
Hanged icicle stalactites with pointed tips
from roof of our hotel ! A great wonder
We two to enjoy honeymoon trip !
Snowy charm whelmed me ! Sheen splendid splendour !
Shiny snow elating whiteness over slant path-
Skating on silvery slippery snow downhill
Fun in throwing snowball and jogging in mirth
We ventured sliding on sledge on amorous thrill.
I can reminisce fantastic snow fantasy :
Metaphoric mirage drifting on dazzling ice !
Enchantment of glossy massy snow turned classy.!
Danced delight : Divine numinous noble nice.
Meticulously petitioning the Divine for renascence,
From the trepidation of my solipsistic ways.
A renascence into the sempiternal.
For a moment, I was indolent.
But mercy is not optional,
Love unconditional.
Seeking the Magnanimous One,
The Luminous One renders me numinous.
Promised blessings falling like raindrops,
Sheltered by anointing,
Like Daniel, before whom beasts capitulate,
Like Shadrach, untouched by flame,
Like Job faith unshaken by self-fame,
Oh, my soul bless the Omnipotent name.

PINK SCALLOP SHELL
Along my road to Freedom stood
showy blue-green sentinels with
white cloud whiffs representing Sky
starling decorated bushes joined
Party of the Road to nowhere
this was where Freedom
danced naked, her shadowed body
awaiting with roasted chestnuts
she met us with a hug and drums
on I moved to dissolve into River
braincells becoming numinous atomic matter
smiling towards Void, ever deeper into
Dark for Light, a von Gogh sunflower watched
in longing as breasted hills embraced
my drowning, matrix fell away
stillness and sound merging as did
boundaries, embankment with Freedom herself
from River into Sea
I became a pink scallop shell on
undulating ocean floor
She knew little of astrology
yet she could translate the stars
applying strange images
as if she saw what no one else did.
Together we would climb
to the crest of a rocky ridge,
there she would relate
visions of crypto-beasts and
numinous beings.
She weaved together a living poem
with her pinpoint insights,
each one was a gateway
to yet another starry night.
I could not love her though,
she belonged
to that Great Nothing,
and I needed something
lesser
to anchor my soul upon.
Kismet’s hand stretches the fabric of creation;
Ichor of the gods entwines with auric fields,
Numinous ideas become our inspiration;
Deeply planting the ascension seeds.
a numinous mist
spied by the young ones
unseen by parents
forming in the dining room
above great-great-grandma Rutherford’s claw foot oak table
supernatural magic, kept in secret compartments by the young
Hidden by "the cloud,
now obscure, now luminous"
it overshadows, transfigures,
--Light numinous--
"From the beginning
until 'the fullness of time'"
the Word and Spirit's mission
are hidden, sublime

IF peace is largeness within the many chambers
of you i should dream a world of loveness
a n d m a n y t e a r s b y j o y
to tell you the dream when smallness was
the many vapored obscured heart-tied hands
hanging upon the highest star
There is within me enough room for you
as words from distant cousins lock meaning within
a single stanza the numinous feelings are that much
nearer I -- the pupil of Life and my sight
is becoming more clearer.

Dream to fulfill ambition in full fervor
Running in rapture like restless river.
Endless dream drinking desire.
Aglow dream shines, glazes till coming true.
Meet your dream accessing success.
Intense yearning rippling ceaseless.
Numinous emotion never to regress.
Gracious glorious gorgeous glow.

Fall in the Finger Lakes,
a meeting in Canandaigua,
a nature reserve visit on West Hill
north of Naples, the season at early
peak, all the colors including green,
the thick, deep forests of the Allegheny
Plateau chasing the underfunded farms
North to Lake Ontario
Back up on Interstate Ninety,
heading home to Syracuse, farm and forest
blowing by, tractor-trailers slightly menacing
at over seventy miles per hour, global commerce
heading home to Portland, Maine and Boston,
to the Port of New York City, the territory
in-between drenched in the colors of confident
change, fanning the flames of our faith
in the future, calling attention to the
numinous rhythms of this beautiful place
where we live!
After imbibing the humbling blend
Constituting the mystical knowledge
And the techniques of martial art
Dr Strange awakened his third eye
Became a powerful sorcerer.
He derived his supernatural power
From the energy of the universe
Acquiring high level of mastery
Over magic to shape and manipulate
Tangible concept of energy as mystic artifacts.
He could also cast numinous spells
By the entrancing miraculous mechanism
Of the specific formula of destruction
With the obtained fiery energy
He was capable to incapacitate his enemy.
Against Dracula, the emperor of the undead
Dr Strange, the supreme sorcerer
Applied the Montesi formula
Destroying the vampires by spell that broke
Reviving them for the clash to continue.

Stricken souls gasp amid rapt tension
And surreal panic as the world spirals
Under throes of exacerbating fire;
Trapped between numinous brawls.
A virulent pandemic subsides
As near-nukes its pedestal take;
Stubborn fear every limb guides
Amid unceasing numbing awe.
Shall life outlast such brutal fury:
As invisible realms arsenals dumb
Blandish upon this bleeding plane;
Upon this rage-pillaged stratum?
Not when viral variants surge
And spikes inoculations defy;
Not when troops against troops vow
And warheads against warheads vie.
