All these nouns sound so silly
A bawdy outward display from ostentation
A twist or fold from overt placation
An act, an instance or state of expansion
Increase in size from flatulent action
Assuming what is not natural or real
A false display of affectation or zeal
Pretension and haughtiness
It’s distastefully adorned with gaudiness
Promulgating esoteric cogitations
Articulating psychological observations
Ingesting superficial sentimentalities
Beware of platitudinous ponderosities

What happened to Sweden throwing off her neutrality like it was an old overcoat and to make matters worse joining old NATO, that is a moribund military organization.

I remember Malmo where I bought coffee cups
With flowers on, now this town is full of angry belligerent Islamists wanting to enforce Shari law and run around with big knives
Of course, there is the forever teenager Greta Thunberg who wears a permanent scowl when marching in protest against the EU or if not something else; one wishes, she would fall in love, have sex with a young man, and go back to school

To discredit those having dissenting views,
Cable News has resorted to reporting “fake news.”
These fabricated stories that shame the truth,
Are nurtured by those, both arrogant and uncouth.
The thought of a scoop must trump stupidity,
So, many won’t fact check to verify validity.
Some are reporting things knowing they’re a lie,
But things never change without a public outcry.
Anything goes just improve the Nielsen rating,
If it isn’t gun violence it’s about race baiting.
Give us Hollywood opinions from superior minds,
And every thirty minutes the tape rewinds.
“Surely, you can't be serious!” “I am serious and don't call me Shirley”
That's a classic line from Airport starring Leslie Nielsen, a Canucky
It was loaded with these
Funny quotes without sleaze
For those expecting an Oscar-winning performance, not a bloody chance surely
Surely it does... but don't call me Shirley
“Airplane” a rapid-fire spoof, you remember surely
Leslie Nielsen was the pilot
A real sexual joke pileup
A riot for the time, a hit with this comedic jury
