Mankind for lest they stand alone by the lake,
hand bereft of anything - but a stick,
thin line between fishing;
and standing idle - looking ignorant.
Hook line and sinker, reel it in.
Grinnell snappy wisdom, jagged toothy grin.
She moaned
as she took her first nibble
Her tongue danced
around the sensual flavors
With panting breath
she sunk her teeth in
just a little bit more
with a giggle
"Oh, you taste so good."
she gasped.
She took it out of her mouth
and swallowed hard.
She could feel it
as it coated her throat
with orgasmic goodness.
Wiping a bit of drool
from the corner of her mouth
she smiled happily
as she threw the chocolate bar wrapper away.
I saw a little nibble
In my mini-pumpkin gourd,
But one small bite is more than
What that gourd can well afford.
The likely culprit (chipmunk?)
Didn’t like the taste he got,
Though just a tiny hole’s enough
To welcome in the rot.
What’s meant as decoration
For a Halloweeny mood
Is, to all non-human creatures,
Nothing more than gratis food.
They started at the break of day
For happy day of fun.
Each hoped to catch a mess of fish
Before the day was done.
They hurried to remembered spot
Where they'd had past success,
To cast their bait from a high wall,
With some skill, more or less.
These siblings wanted to surprise
Their unsuspecting mom.
The sweet, young miss was Eloise, (Ell-o-wise)
Her brothers Jack and Tom.
At first the fish refused to bite,
But these three persevered.
And each went home with their fair share
Before sun disappeared.
For Edmund Blair Leighton contest
On the lake with expensive gear I troll
On the bank is a kid with willow pole
Much to my chagrin
He's hauling them in
I can't get a nibble to save my soul

How deliciously bright
You look tonight
You can tell from my look
I am read like a book
It is you in my sight
And you make it feel right
If I give a blank stare
It is cause you are there
Have you seen my jaw drop
Or that I will hop
When you are near me
I feel so carefree
I think I just might
Take a little bite
Do not worry I will just nibble
And then maybe dribble alittle
It is cause you are hot
You I loved on the spot
And I will thank you my wife
For the rest of my life
