Warmth of Similarity

You remind me of a synchronized play of violins
Soothing to the vibrations they play
Your touch is the rhythm of a string
hold me gently with similarity

Becoming

Time casts a heavy glow
On the world I left behind,
Transfixed on a new tomorrow,
All the new seeds I’ll sow.

Emerging is a new day,
How the light blinds my eyes.
Focus on the bright cascade
Of this everlasting rise.

Beneath the earth is trembling,
My footsteps unsure and numb.
The silence almost deafening—
I can almost hear Hope hum.

A quick glance back behind me
At the thralldom left behind,
Hope continues to remind me
Of all I’m rising from.

The dawn unfolds before me,
A light I’ve never known.
Each step is one small victory,
In this light I call my own.

A gentle breeze enfolds me,
Countless paths untrod.
With open arms, I gather
The dreams I once thought flawed.

ahhh... the crisp feel of the new notebook
its spine never cracked open
its pages of virgin white perfectly aligned
awaiting their marching orders
eager for all and any pen markings
from sunday best handwriting to doodles

inviting playful interaction
your creative élan of spontaneity
random thoughts splashed on a page
scripted lines scribbled to offload
a mind seeking clarity, peace or absolution
seeking a semblance of order
of profound clarity or silly mischief

one page then another
the daily journal of a busy mind
in search of something
through self-expression
hoping to find it between
the whites of pages
and the ink of a ballpoint pen

All alone in my silent confessions
long I have dwelt on secret battles fought,
and poison arrows of those obsessions
alas might pierce my last refuge methought.
But having crossed my Rubicon I wait
in new beginnings, in love’s boons to be
where new battles will rage and punctuate
the fullness of time in his century.
To that cause I am heart and soul aware
and exceptional favour bears me more,
that in my time I’ll have a son and heir
who fills in me what was missing before.
Soon I will hail on a day still to dawn
to me a millennia child is born.

New Beginnings

In the depths of each painful crack there lies a sunrise, shining on the other side. Butterflies and birds whispering of new beginnings, sprouting out from all the pain. Beautiful flowers that grow from the dirt.

To New Beginnings- A Very Happy New Year To All

Hope is the spark that lights up our way,
Fear disappears with each step we tread.
Aim is the compass that guides us through,
Family is the treasure we hold close to.

Let the sorrows of yesterday fade away,
For the New Year dawns with a brighter day.

Every milestone marks a reason to smile,
Each moment is a gift, a chance to review our mistakes.
Success gives us wings to soar to the skies,
But humility keeps our hearts grounded.

The past teaches, the future inspires.
As a new chapter begins, full of laughter and desires.

With a New Year, new resolutions arise,
A fresh hope to pursue new ambitions.
Eyes gleam with the light of determination,
As the thirst to discover carries us through.

So with open hearts and joyous cheers,
Let’s celebrate the promise of this New Year!

No, I have no anwers, but sincerely wish I could!
I cannot… just feel like flying over my neighborhood!

I see us a nation, now have regained our senses.
Let us go to the park and leap over tall, silvered, fences!

And thus, for days, I have not slept very much.
Nor, with poetry friends, have I kept touch!

My hopes for our future are crystal clear and bright.
Sending hugs to all, from my deepest soul-sight!

    With joy and gratitude,-))))))

Today’s blessing is about change
comes from the philosopher Seneca
and long ago it was penned….

Every new beginning comes from…
some other new beginning’s end.

Spring

The light is more present than it use to be.
Spiderweb hopes hang heavy with dew tears -
Resilient against the odds!
The frost finger fears: a threat still lurking
...in the darkness...
Tiny trust shoots tentatively test their way forth

Inhaling the air deeply; drinking it in:
Both crisp, cold and biting
...but...
full of the butterfly kisses of the sun's rays.
The dancing of crane fly hopes
Can they really take off?

Standing at the edge of the river
The scaffolding of new enterprise lay ready.
I watch the ebb and flow echo in my soul,
Finally a rhythm that I can understand.
It might be alright.

Premium MemberOld Memories, New Beginnings

Though the days may be long and the nights cold

And I travel alone weary and worn

I will not dwell on those memories old

But bask in the light of a new day born

My soul are waters that shall ever flow

Amid currents that run silent and deep

Towards a future, the course I've yet to know

Still, those old memories are mine to keep

New beginnings

They said,
"Fake it till you make it".
I faked my life,
I faked my soul,
I faked it all the being of my being.

She said,
"Just try little harder"
I tried it till I was numb,
I tried it till I was dumb,
I tried it all for the sake of trying.

He said,
"It's enough, I am done".
I was done,
Finally, done from it all.
I was done of trying,
I was done by lying,
I was done of faking,
I was done by making,
I was done by being.
You saved me, my saviour,
Your full stop,
Gave me a new beginning.

I'M My Enemy

Immune to judgement;

I run away from my happy days,

can't believe I could have hapiness too.

though words hurt a lot more,

they heal a lot more too.

There are days when i feel most alive,

im too scared to disturb that beehive

that sphere of my life.

I wish to change,

want new beginnings;

but what if the stings kill me before i can see it?

I search for some semblance of humanity,

but all i see is clouds of vanity

repelling each other since we're all the same

I dont know what to say.

If all is lost and all is bleak
and new beginnings in life you seek
The future's empty,looking grim
Cast all your cares upon Him

Come,come,to Emannuel
    rejoice in fellowship this Noel
Praise,Praise as blessings flow,
when Jesus Christ, you begin to know
