The tapestry of onyx blanket spreads
with satin darkness of the fluid night.
Lush thicket weaves the moonshine lattice
on the glistened trees for the nightingale
flying on the crescendo of its own melody.
The passion bird sings soft with enticing echo
of the un-stringed tunes of love and joy,
the music of the sequined nocturnal niche.
The drizzling stardust dances on its wings,
fluttering with the rhythm of avian delight.
Oh nightingale,
you rise like a small anointing in the dusk,
your voice a trilling psalm of love and lament.
You carry the mystique of prayer on your wings,
a feathered liturgy drifting toward the listening sky.
Oh nightingale,
you sing from the chalice of stillness where God whispers,
your syrinx a cipher of creation teaching silence to awaken.
You carry ancient wisdom in your throat,
a feathered oracle scripting prophecy on the wind.
Relentless yearning colors unrestrained
the spectral edge of the halcyon horizon,
where the nascent scarlet sun unveils
the fervent facade of the decorous dawn,
bringing to me across the million miles
the seraphic sparkle of the sapphire sea,
shining with the tinge of azure allure.
I stand whelmed at the finite fringe
of the primal vastness of the aquatic vista
as its timeless vigor tosses ceaseless
on the crests of the swelling waves,
adorning the beach with pearly garlands.
The silent spread of the silver sheet
wraps your faint footprints in fluid embrace.
As the melancholic waves intone incessant
in the moonbeam ballet of the blue night,
I search in cobalt obscurity for my mermaid,
floating away along the stardust trail,
setting sail on the serenading winds
to where my heart hovers on the sea shore.
As a rolling pebble flinging lonesome
with the rhythm of the tides of time,
I’m submerged in the sea of sanguinity
of the rapturous immensity of reverie.
Through the ardent frame of my fingers
I don’t let the golden sands of longing slip,
I turn them into topaz on mystique beach,
design a dainty diadem to embellish you.
“Mystique”
by Positive Mark
My dearest, ravenous raven, I now approach you with the bill of a Blue Heron, and a one-track mind to sip your affection.
You’re perched in audacious submission, and it enslaves me.
You fit my lifestyle with your feminine wiles, you beautiful, gorgeous Black child.
Neatly petite, with the prettiest feet, my fever grows when you’re painting your toes.
How dare I let a day pass without writing a book about you?
There’s nothing I can do. I’m enamored with you, and engrossed in your mystique.
Your embossed physique drips past my eyes, to my lips, then I use it to moisten my quill.
What is love, but unwavering will?
seen sparkling
liquid emerald
from the pass
I'm not like you
you're not like me
on that
you and I
we can agree
but
strange to say
and there's no mystique
Snap!
we're really all the same
in that...
we are all unique
Her mannerisms personality HER talk HER walk The way SHE MOVES! That's the Beginning of FALLING for HER....
VOICE! The mildness of it. Even when that musical
instrument rises higher . HER WAYZ AMAZE! This IS WOMAN-- THE
FEMININE MYSTIQUE!
ah the magical mystique of the moon
celebrated in folklore and mythology
goading howling women
who can frighten werewolves
the waxing moon
associated with reproductive cycles
of women, marine animals and wild life
ensuring we are more loving
the waning moon
connecting the celestial with deeply sacred rhythms
affecting our moods, toying with our ups and downs
shaking up people who are bi-polar
the full moon
she has amassed a reputation
birth rates rising, increased crime and hospital visits
she winks at us, loving her power
the moon is ever changing
cyclical like every form of life
revolving over and over
refreshing and replenishing us at her whim.

~SUMMER NIGHT MYSTIQUE~
Summer’s moonlight eyes
On silvered cities asleep
Serenity blessed

Smiling, I read my tarot,
It said, "Go with the flow,"
Asked the faucet, you know,
Washing machine did overflow,
"Your gifts are for the world!
Positive vibes, old girl,
I mopped the floor, okay,
Go with the flow, this is today!
Disney take on the Fox and the Hound
Where two pups form a bond so profound.
Naive to concede
The strife of their breed,
Delicate friendship is doomed to fail.
With hunting dogs don’t let your guard down,
Don’t buy into the fox and the hound.
Poignant puppy eyes
Are traps in disguise,
With snarled teeth onto red bushy tail.
With foxy folks don’t let your guard down,
Don’t buy into the fox and the hound.
Conniving and sly,
Contriving a lie,
Fox fights fierce for its life, tooth and nail.
Disney bond of the Fox and the Hound
In a real world yet to be found.
Big Mama’s advice -
Owl symbol of wise -
Leave it to the mystique of tall tale.
Oh, thou art of the greatest mystery,
an enigma of time and place and space
flitting with ethereal quality.
Mind not paling stars that surround this place.
They languish in comparison to thee,
whose soul reflects from thy radiant face.
"Often, in moments sweet, Nature gives us a special treat" by poet
How often do we wish for Xanadu
The perfect place, our paradise at last
Forever sunshine and skies heather blue
Xanadu, where Now will be long and vast
Time pauses, as moments linger and last.
Beyond the horizon, we'll find daydreams
waiting for dreamers who will also seek
breeze that whispers music dwelling between
thoughts brushing the mind or those more oblique
all part of Xanadu's lasting mystique.
Forsaking myth, nature can then remind
of forgotten treasures out our back door
wonders of nature we had left behind:
her bounty of blossoms and many more
garden Xanadu ready to explore.

Mystique in that smile,
Ardency in those eyes,
Delicacy in porcelain skin,
Honesty in her voice,
Uniqueness in her spirit,
Soul in her passion,
Mystery again in gestures,
Intricacies in her flaws and perfections,
Tenderness accentuates in all of her,
And again, her madding Mystique.
