who reads this stuff?
who are my fans?
are they locals?
older or younger?
a bit of both maybe
a little cuckoo?
nutty like me?
I hope so
Pink cat with yellow polka dots
Orange and blue striped kitten
Female faeries with caramel skin
Beige elf man riding a horse with hearts
Why didn’t I make that a unicorn?
Overblown yellow daisy with a pretty face
Purple and yellow dragon wearing knee high boots
This was strange even for me
I smile at my painting from 2017, liking it more now.
Bad stuff happens to people worldwide
My stuff is trivial, feeling a bit off-stride
Compared to others
Mine, I've discovered
Are trivial, not worth the concern applied
Please don’t like my stuff or any off my posts
If the power’s get to know ‘
my words will be toast,.
Don’t follow my blog or the sites I may be on ,
‘for if you do it will soon be gone .
I’m respectful to mothers, church and male
‘But if you spread my words I’ll go to jail.
The man is watching, from the powers that be ,
please don’t like my stuff
‘Id rather be Free !
(Not liking the paganpoet on Twitter will also help)
Couldn’t rhyme that last bit x
Bad stuff happens to people worldwide
My stuff is trivial, feeling just a bit off-stride
Compared to others
Mine, I've discovered
Are trivial, not worth the concern applied
I look around at all my stuff
On table, shelf or wall
And can't resist a smile because
I really love it all.
A home reflects just who we are
So how it is designed
Lets all who enter have a glimpse
Of how we're self-defined.
Except, of course, if all the stuff
Is just one person's taste.
My husband, if he had the chance,
Would have it all replaced.
In marriage, though, we compromise
And if we care enough,
We learn to live with how our spouse
Delights in all her stuff.
Burglars came to get my stuff, but there was nothing to steal.
So I made them into friends and we went to other people’s houses.
Making them into friends.
The burglars stopped their stealing ways,
and became kind and happy.
People loved the burglars, and they began hiring them to clean and cook,
And fix their cars, insulate their attics, babysit their children,
and groom their fussy cats.
The burglars are all legitimate workers now,
making money in a legal way.
Not stealing, not cheating, not lying.
Changed into upstanding citizens.
They never bring home things they did not pay for themselves anymore.
I am confident when other burglars break into my friends, the
Former burglar’s houses, they will make them into friends and go to other
People’s houses, knowing what they have to do.
Had to erase the chin, then the left eye.
Right eye looks wrong now.
Erasing it too. Erase. Erase. Erase. Erase.
Why do I always draw so deeply?
I know better, and yet I consistently make this mistake.
Redraw the eye.
Erase the other one.
Redraw both of them.
Shoot.
The right eye was better the first time.
Erase. Erase.
Redraw, redraw, redraw.
Everything is worse now.
Pick up a new canvas and begin again.
This one is too far gone to be saved.
Oh, yes, I was held hostage by my stuff for a month about.
It was suffocating me, squeezing all the energy out.
To look at it depleted me, made me a loser, a lout.
I began to sort and throw willy nilly, here and there and about.
I am not complete yet, but I feel better without a doubt.
I go to work to make more money,
to buy more stuff to make home homey,
the only problem now I find,
is theres no room to plant my behind,
So I went out and bought a bigger home,
so all my stuff could have their own zone,
whereas now I work a lot more and am rarely home,
to pay for all my stuff and the pricey mortgage loan.

My Stuff
I use to have stuff
Lots of stuff
Stuff that I wore
proudly
Stuff that I carried around
in my pocket stuff
Stuff that I wound
place in places
among other stuff
to be seen
by others who
probably had their
own stuff
I really loved
my stuff
Now I can not even
find my stuff
I have gone through
so much stuff
only to find
the new stuff
I keep asking myself
where is my stuff?
Stuff just don't get up
and run off, does it?
Maybe it wasn't my stuff
in the first place
I'm confused over
this stuff
Once I saw my stuff
in the home
of somebody else
next to their stuff
I thought for a second
but I let that stuff go
I'm now taking photos
of all my new stuff
and placing it on
one of those shared sites
so at least I can connect
with stuff that might
go missing
If anyone listening
is holding on
to my stuff
please have pity
and return my stuff
I really miss my stuff
I load my stuff
in plastic bags
into my car -
lying untouched in the trunk
reusable shopping bags
For the Contest of Thomas Martin
You might find this amusing if I say
When I looked in mirrow the other day
Things definitely were wrong
Something wasn't where it belongs
Stuff had strutted off leaving me just gray
