Premium Member O' Wheel of Fortune

My heart shrivels dry, blackened rose in bitter anguish, ...
 Do you feel my pain?
Why must the flame of day dwindle dim?
O' fortune, like the moon, changeable, waxing and waning
Oppressing me, first with power's soothing stroke
            To take it all away!
Poverty of my spirit lies in love's immortal wake
Why fate of fortune, cruel regard, forsaken me?

Vain, and shadowed, I waver between the balance
Such agony is mine!
Day and night, everything defies me?
Great is my grief!
One cure, escape me from the throes of my misery !!
I beg, the Gods... hear my wail, hear my plea
Would fate be cured by kiss, one look, one sign, devotion? !

This wretchedness is black, I taste bitter ash!
Keep dark night hidden in the depth of your heart, o' moon !!

I am like a leaf, played with by the wind
I am like a light hovering bird, chains cannot bind me !!
Salvation comes with desire, one touch
Do not turn the eyes away...!
I cannot be shamed!
Torment me not, o' heartless moon!!

Wheel of fortune spins my heart...I beg to win love's prize !!
Without it, I will bemoan the wounds of fortune with weeping eyes
.... and I am cursed as I fall from the peak of glory....
into the depths of the valley of despair !!

Inspired by the classical music, "Carmina Burana"
A cantata, written between l935-36 by German composer Carl Orff.
This passionate work was based on ancient poems hand-scribed in Latin...these parchment
manuscripts discovered in a Bavarian monastery in l803. They were believed to have been
written by students of the clergy (monks) sometime during the 11-13th century.
This familiar music has been used in numerous film scores..quite dramatic and powerful

Music For You P.S. (Adult Content)

Music comforts the soul, cures that restless spirit.
Some songs will make you crank up the volume so everyone can hear it....
Music can alter moods, and talk to you.
Some songs have the remedy for what you're going through....
Music is good medicine for a broken heart,
and yet some songs can turn around and tear it apart....Music has brought people all
around the world together;
And some melodies will keep playing on forever....
Music adds to the intensity of making love.
Fuels that fire, you can't seem to get enough of....
Music makes me sad, glad, happy and mad.
Some songs make me pick up a pen and pad....
Music makes me wanna pull a woman close, kiss her nose, remove her clothes,
       suck her toes,
And with Janet Jackson still singing "That's the Way Love Goes;"
Me and her make our own music video until her sweet nectar overflows!!!!!

Note: To my fav. soupers, I don't know your preferred genre of music and sometimes age
plays a huge role in a persons tastes in music. Since I don't know everyone's age, I'm going
by gut feeling and the personalities I read on my comments and my soupmail. If you guys
download music; I've written one song for the following people. A song from me to you, so
to speak. Be open minded and listen to the whole song. Enjoy. #1 Marty "Devil Woman" by

Sabbath Evening Rap Up Sequence (2)

-continued from "Sabbath Morning Rap".

..and so brethren,
We're lost in the lust of loving lies
Conceived and retrieved as alibies.
to woo what we would instead of should,
To deify deeds ordained to deny
that Jesus Christ was crucified,

For you and me and he and she,
He lived and loved and agonized,
to dis the devil and tear his ties
to the role of the soul in his hellish hole.

Cause the devil is real and that's the deal
So if hate is your food and your crude and lewd,
you're flirtin' with hurtin', you're comin' unglued.

The devil is there so ya better beware
You're struttin his stuff and doin' your share.
Take a look around before ya drown
in the fire of his fate and the heat of his hate.

But Christ is saying :
My Peace I leave, My Peace I give
to those that ask Me to help them live.
And if you don't believe I can show you the way'
open your heart so you can pray.
Ill give you a sign for you to define.
What do you say gotta do it today.

Now it's up to you, whatever you do.
Don't wait too long cause the chance'll be gone.
Amen, I say, Throw your pride away,
I want you Here ...with ME ...to Stay.

Don'T Interrupt the Music

Dissonance is delegating the intensity in my eyes
Minor chords unveil the passion my body can’t belie
Eighth notes are lightning sparks that burn my finger tips
And when you play Fminor7 I tend to bite my lips.
I want you to scale my thighs
the way you play A minor harmonic
Deftly wrenching haunting moans
Experiences anything but platonic
Allegro Legato Crescendo Vibrato
Sing to me in Italian and tell me to hold my tongue
But if anyone interrupts the music …
a piano's lid comes crashing down--the last note never sung.

Premium Member Whiskey 'N' Grins On Cd

Yea, When it comes to bars and drinkin', and how! I've done my share,
It always has me thinkin', of past times, yea, when and where,
I've done my share of fightin' too, and no one ever wins,
The worst I got was a bitin' o-o-o-oh! from a big mouth dude named Grins,

Yea, we'd all been drinkin' whiskey, when we should have been drinkin' beer,
Grins girlfriend came and kissed me,Yea, the one he loved so dear,
Then Grins slammed me to the floor, I heard someone bet 10 dollars,
Most went runnin' for the door, through all the screams and hollers,

Then Grins got my fingers in his mouth, and I couldn't get them out,
I just figured he'd bite them off, so I choked him til' he coughed,
Yea, I've done my share of fightin' dude, Ya know, no one ever wins,
and I'd rather be struck by lightnin' too, than bit by big mouth Grins,

Now, when it comes to bars and drinkin', and wherever I go, anywhere,
It always has me thinkin', of what I'll be drinkin' there,
and when it comes to drinkin' whiskey, I'd rather just drink some beer,
and if the occasion gets too whiskey, hey! it's, I'm up out a here!

Yea, I've done my share of fighting too, and no one ever wins,
I'd rather be struck by lightning dude, than bit by big mouth Grins,
When it comes to drinkin' whiskey, I'd rather just drink some beer,
if the occasion gets too risky, Hey! it's, I'm up out a here!

Yea, when it comes to drinkin' whiskey, I'd rather drink some beer,
if the occasion gets too risky, Hey! it's, I'm up out a here!
If the occasion gets too risky, Hey!.....it's I'm up out of here,
Yea! It's I'm up out of here.

Premium Member If You Could See In Me

If you could see, the inside of me
What would you view, that you would want to see
For inside of me for any given year
Is loaded with music, it's my driven steer

Whether it's Rock with Deep Purple
Or Wish You Were Here with Pink Floyd
Inside my head
Music fills my brain void

Karnataka to Mostly Autumn
Thin Lizzy through the years
That's the way it is by Bruce Hornsby
His keyboard play brings my tears

But I can be rough and ready
And tank up the amps
Coloured Blind by Skin
Leaves me racially in thanks

Whole Lotta Love
Should be out there in force
Music should be in us
It's a matter of course

Close your eyes to the melody
Hey! it's the Moody Blues
When they played Red Rock
What gem would you choose

To answer your question
What has the past year brought
Another year of learning
Air guitar sought

Apart from seeing my kids prosper
Music avenue is my world
And watch them grow into their tomorrows
I have so much to be heard

a singer performing country score

dropped false teeth bouncing on stage floor

      though pelted with loud boos

      he continued his blues...

as big boss kicked his rear out the door

same singer was given one more chance

rehearsed a perfect song and dance

   by middle of refrain

his shoe knocked a plain Jane...

who gave him naughty, come-on glance

Dang!

Whats wrong with the world today?
its like they have nothing else to say.
Their words are destroying creative minds
children know adult things by the age of nine.
It the music and it stupid to sit here it listen
people need to start paying attention
The lyrics are the key to certain answers
look at the certain rappers singers and dancers.

Pause: Let me explain alot clearer...

Lil Wayne went rapper to hollywood.
Nicki Minaj doesnt act her age when she should
Kanye West basically embarrassed himself on stage
and for some Beyonce and I isnt on the same page.
I use to be a big fan towards her
but instead of a sweet dream she chose a beautiful nightmare.
But that aint me
and forget the t.v
how can yall all see except for the all seeing

Pause: dang!

How could you listen to Waka with all the noise
what happened to music bringing peace and joy.
Now its "whos next on my death list."
or "baby i dont know who your dad is."
See im an 90s baby
and their music drives me crazy
But dang music is triflin
can someone tell me what happened?

Marry Me Hip-Hop

At times like this.

When I get hot flashes.

And leakage between my thighs

I can always depend on you to take me there

To take me to a level of highness

You cleanse my body

Making my soul warm

What you do for me … no other has come close

The sounds you send out

Makes my body numb

You make my knees weak

Just hearing the words you preach

Knowing their meant just for me

So much passion you provide

In between the lines making me feel so good

So good I began to cry

My life is all about you

And I belong to only you

Sometimes I wish we could

Go on and just get married

Become one and live without others worries

Can you feel the love imp given

Because I can hear your love in the lyrics

The love you offer me

A love like this

With another doesn’t exist

Because I know of no man

Who understand me like you do

Who puts me first an the love never stops

And if others still don’t understand

Its not man I love

I’m in love with Hip-Hop

Hollering my pain
Swallow me, blackness, swallow!
Rid me of wronging!

That I do tonight
My lone witness a guitar
Watch me weep the sea

Just a dark stool I'see
Now not even me to bear
As steps sound my leave

Premium Member Queens of Noise

This is a piece about five rocking girls
At seventeen years old they rocked my world
I think I first heard of them in Sounds magazine
Five girls next door whom entered my scene

The cover of their Album just blew me away
These five American girls, music their say
Behind bars they were in delightful pose
At seventeen years old the love in me grows

This I had too purchase can't wait to get home
Needle to vinyl in groove rocking roam
All ten tracks played, time and time again
These "Queens of Noise" these five sure do reign

There was Lita, Cherie and Sandy West
No disrespect I liked Sandy the best
Then there was Jackie, and lastly Joan Jett
Five girls my heroes, rocking their set

Next thing I know they are playing "Live in Japan"
This I must buy, cost, 'I don't give a damn'
The glossy pictures melted my heart
Once again in the groove, the needle did start

Just my luck, the line up didn't last
New members arrived that left me aghast
But these things happen in Rock 'n' Roll
Knowing they existed, rocked my soul

I leave this short write to say my thanks yous
My favourite Sandy West, was too young to lose
To the original band including dear Sandy above
At seventeen years old, boy! was I so in love

Harlem Blues !

While writing about the History of Jazz Music in verse , I got the idea for composing this
fictitious poem ! I hope the readers will like it !

            Harlem Blues !

Lingering perfumes float through the night air ,
Life was a drudgery for him and no one cared !
With neon lights blinking and flashing every-
where !
The jazz band in the saloon played a soft tune ,
And the lady there sang the blues and also
crooned !
Now the solitude of the night gets to him ,
As he drops down into a corner seat where lights
are rather dim !
Signals the waiter as he lights his cigar ,
And orders a large whiskey and soda , having
come down so far !
He remains enthralled by the lone singer’s
voice ,
He must spend this ‘blue night’ all alone , -
since he had no other choice !
The singer now comes pretty close to him ,
And he could see her white teeth dazzle and
gleam !
But when he looked into those dark eye lashes , -
Sad memories form the past before his eyes
flashes !

He had been a clarinet player of some renown ,
But his wife couldn’t tolerate its piping sound !
His habit of playing his pipe at mid-night hours ,
Made her to desert him for their marriage had
gone sour !
The blue notes in the saloon soon comes to an
end ,
But the music goes on simply to entertain !
The singer now invites this loner to her room ,
He accompanies - trying to forget his loneliness
and gloom !
She pours out two drinks in her upstairs room ,
And places his head gently between her bosom , -
Which makes him to swoon !
The ‘blue notes’ still plays on in his mind ,
It is then when she pulls out a clarinet form
behind !
Seeing him surprised - she laughs out loud ,
He stares at the clarinet with misgiving and doubt !
“Don’t worry darling I had met you wife ,
She had shown me your picture and told me about
your life !
From my childhood days I had loved the clarinet ,
It turns me on before I go to bed !
So play the pipe gently as I get into my slip-on ,
And we shall make love right into the morn !”
He picked up the clarinet and played ‘the blues’
so tender and so light , -
The music echoed through the lonely Harlem
night....... !

730 Miles To New York City

2060 to L.A.
But it is just 280 miles to Nashville, Tennessee
Where I can see the country stars of the Grand Ol' Opry
Like Faith, Alan, Tim and Toby

I have gone mostly country
But I don't wear those boots
I have gone mostly country
My blonde hair is showing its roots
Gone country...There I go

I never really liked Madonna
I tried to Vouge
But I hurt myself
Not much for punk
But I love the Ramones

My bedroom wall was covered
Mom never needed to wallpaper
Floor and ceiling with the faces
Of 80's rock and roll

Poison made me want to talk dirty
Winger, I was only seventeen, but didn't care
Skid Row said I was a youth gone wild
And Bon Jovi said I gave love a bad name

Don't get me wrong
I still melt
When Jon Bon Jovi flashes that smile
And sings me his song

But when Toby Keith asks me who's your daddy (OH baby!)
Make me think naughty thoughts
And makes me have a evil grin
Makes me want to lay my hands on him
Sorry, I guess I am torn

They both make my mouth drool
But I am no fool
I may love country
But my first love
Comes from New Jersey

I thought at the time
It was something by Debussy
And every day the same tune
Those same troubled places
DAY AFTER DAY!

After a few weeks it was almost maddening
The easy first twenty measures or so went swimmingly
But then…..
But then a modulation
Difficult chord progressions
The patience of the pianist was amazing
Endless calm repetitions for a few weeks
But then!
Then for days that rush through the easy twenty measures
As though the pianist could hardly wait to drive me mad

Oh that relentless hammering pounding
Such extreme petulance
Unremitting fortissimo against those same difficult measures!

At last I could stand it no longer
Murderous with anger I rapped viciously on the studio door

Well let me tell you…..
SHE was the most ravishing………………………………..
