Bluesy

Let me see
Let me learn
Let me rock
Let me dance
Let me hear
Blues shouters
Like B.B. King and Albert
While I can still
hear
till the end draws near

Ever the Soloist

He Plays With An Act Of Expression.
No Act!
It Pulsates Through Him... Rhythm Never Came So Easily
This Music Makes Me Drunk
But The Emotion....

Takes Me Over

Premium Member B. B. Gone

Hollering my pain
Swallow me, blackness, swallow!
Rid me of wronging!

That I do tonight
My lone witness a guitar
Watch me weep the sea

Just a dark stool I'see
Now not even me to bear
As steps sound my leave
me

String me a Vivaldi
seasonal song,
Sing me a Mozart
opera..'ere the day long;
Fill my emotions
with Mahler's tears,
Soothe me with Satie
and banish my fears.

Into mine ears,make music please
..begone..farewell..dis-ease
me

Violin Crush

soft music
cool breeze
the light rain falling outside
listening to beethoven and classical music
a plush couch
all that i ever need is right next to me
listening to the strings of harmony
and inner peace
slowly but surely putting me to sleep
as i float to an island
and enjoy the sun soaking me in

Save the Last Dance

Save the last dance for me
Left, right I sway in the moonlight for thee
Back and forth our bodies become a twine
Gyrating to the melody in this moment in time
Record our footsteps in the sand
Let me guide you, c'mon take my hand
Around and around , high and low
Love hold me tight and never let me go

Music

It calls me here...
Rhythems pulsing and throbbing...
It binds me to itself...
Beats pounding for freedom in my heart...
It needs me to continue its legacy...
Pieces of it ultimately shatter my loneliness...
You and I must achieve its goal...
For it to never die inside or outside our hearts and souls...

Play For Me

Play… play me a song upon this moonlit night
Let me dance to the music for you
My heart…it sounds with each note that you strike
As your music’s so elegant too

Play… play me a song written by your heart
As I’ll know each word as we sing
Together, the melody will float on the air
As happiness, to our hearts, it will bring

Upon his fingertip I sit, I don't think I am the first. I wasn't aware I was falling, until I heard her soft curse. For some reason, she let me go, though I tried to hold on. I thought she had more resolve, than to shed me for a song.

The God Damned Gun

this confrontation
is more than i can handle
these expectations
are over-running my life
your honesty
is killing me
so tear me down
and burn me out
wipe away these pitiful tears
cause i cant bear to see you cry
I'm worthless to you
and you're everything to me
so why don't we share the cost
of that god damned gun?
darling, it's just a game of
Russian roulette.

My Black and White World

Your soothing sounds bring me to my knees.
Its something that no one else sees.
My escape, are your black and white keys.

You have become my outlet for emotion.
My inspiration and devotion,
Helped keep me out of the negative commotion.

From your lowesr groan to your highest screams,
You helped shape my dreams.
And for that,
My world is my black and white keys.

The Music In Me

No matter how hard I try
I can't control the music inside me
It starts in my head
then down to my feet
It clouds my brain
so that I'm unable to speak
It's indescribable, unexplained
it's like it knows the real me
It knows what I like
It knows how to make me weak
It moves my body
It heals my soul
It turns me from a nobody
into an artist with a rhythm and a goal.

Premium Member Symphony of Life

blue ribbons of light
drift over me in grand
orchestral seas of hope
strings, winds and percussions
fill me with every
color, shape and texture possible
renewed,
I reach out with strength
to
bring
the
music
to
life!

Last Train To Jazzland

There we are up in the tune
Lost in a reverie,reaching for
Our own trombone to blow,blow,blow!
Clicking fingertips together and
Waiting for the beat to drive us
Into the wonderment
Soulfully
I begin to sway and you catch me
Twirl me with all your breath
Loosen me then once again
Bring me close
As the cool deep notes waft
Over us and into our beings
We are on this train and in this moment
Let's stay here for awhile,sugar!

Play For Me

DJ play me a song
Any song so I can sing along.

Maybe I'll dance a step or two for you.
As long as the music stirs my groove.

Country, rock it matters not
Once it starts I don't want to stop.

The music it moves me, stirs me
Lets me feel free.

makes me want to sing
Hearing the tones ring

Lifts my spirit to new heights
Filling my mind with wonderous sights.

So Mr. DJ play me a song
So I can groove all night long.

Music

A calming sound of melodious tunes
With words for every occasion
A getaway trip in the click of a button
When life throws an impossible equation

A medicine to put me to bed
To tell me a bedtime story
Or to tell me their tales
Of defeat and glory

It heals the mind,
Draws out emotions
Changes your mood
Like a magic potion

O how I love music
How it can be a friend
How, for a moment, you can escape
in a song until it ends

Fall In You

Never failed to save me from my life
Never dared to hold me down
You are love
I fall in you,
And there is no ground
Lose myself in you,
And there’s no map to drag me out
Live in you,
And those sorrows are no longer true
Some call it a waste
But that doesn’t matter
They all live in haste
Point A to B in record time
And they’ve never seen what’s in between
But I float where all clocks stop
Don’t pull me out
I’m finally alive
I’m satisfied
And all I need is you

Dear John

Loving the song "your song" Mr. Elton John
because "Dear John" you're lyrics are wildly precious to me
following me from
grade school
when I first learned music could make me feel
and had the ability
to transform my emotions from happy to sad...

loved the part "it's a little bit funny,...the feeling inside...."
and I knew then that
"I was not one of those that could easily hide"...

I simply felt like that
that was my song
and I have Elton to thank
my own Dear John.

Music

I never heard anything so sweet and pleasing to my ears
Never enjoyed hearing anything so much, not once in my forty three years

Love hearing you talking, it takes me high just to hear you speaking
And when I go to bed at night I always dream of you singing

Your lovely voice touches my heart with a sweet caress
And if I can’t hear you my soul would not be able to rest

Angel your voice brings into my life real magic
Heals me and makes me strong, it is my kind of music

My Lady ~

you're the one
who pens my poems
for me ~ my Lady
you're the one that pops my pimples
for me~ my Lady
you're the one who makes my meals
and closes my square deals
for me~ my Lady
you're the one who runs my bath
and does my college math
for me~ my Lady
you're the one with all the charm
you let me live free on your farm
for me~ my Lady
you're the one who scents my flower
and is still a mighty tower
for me ~ my Lady

I'm in a trance
I wanna dance
for you~ my Lady
My Lady...
